Although I'm not rooting for the Suns to win the chip this season, I want to see Chris Paul experience holding the NBA Championship trophy in his career.
If the Suns won't get a ring while Durant is on their team, then most probably Chris Paul won't get a ring in his career.

As for Westbrook, a few years from now, if he wants to continue playing, it's either he will accept a lower offer or play overseas. This dude's career is almost over if he won't improve and help the Clippers. His performance is way different ever since he left Thunder. I don't know, it seems he lacks motivation compared before and to other players of the same age or even older like James.

Funny that Giannis gave himself a rebound at the end of the Bucks game for a triple double.

The league rescinded the final rebound Giannis gave himself yesterday effectively taking away his triple double.  AI can't remember seeing this happen before in the NBA but it seems like the right thing to do.  I didn't see anything about rescinding the missed shot though.  Cheesy Probably a good thing for Giannis anyway as it might save him from some criticism for being a stat padder.  Say what you want about Westbrook or Jokic but I don't think this has ever happened to either of them.

Expect some adjustments on their next game. They might give Kuminga more minutes like you said. They might give Poole more minutes like you said. With Wiggins still out, it will be a hard time for the Warriors, but I'm hoping he will come back soon or at least on the playoffs.
I didn't see Looney in the last minutes of the game. I am not sure if he was fouled out or if Coach Steve Kerr preferred the fast-paced small-ball team.
I hope they should think about using Kuminga more when they are up against a team that relied on a big man, like the Lakers.
Kuminga is competitive, all his energy could be contagious once he gets rhythm but somehow he was not given the minutes which I think he deserves whenever they need help on defending forwards or centers.

Knicks be killing it.  No brunson on the road in Boston, no problem.  Knicks are becoming the team in the east no one wants to face in the playoffs.  History aside this team is winning in so many different ways.  Inside, outside, defense, etc.  Last night's thriller in Boston was amazing.  What a crazy game. Onward and upward from here.  Really think the 3 hole is attainable.
They are 9-0 since they acquired Josh Hard. Is acquiring Hart boost the morale of the team? What did he bring to the Knicks and why they are on a winning streak since acquiring him? Cheesy
Well, that's the only change they made. If it's not Josh Hart who is the reason for their success, then it's Cam Reddish who was their problem on why they lost in their past games. Josh boosted their defensive line and I think that's a big thing.

Not sure if this is just the beginning for Morant or he might serve longer suspension because of that video.

As far as the latest information regarding Morant's issue is concerned, I will assume already that Ja Morant might not return to action in the remainder of the season until in the latter part of the playoffs if they will able to advance. There's no room in NBA to do such an act. I might be wrong though.

Should serve a lesson now for him. What an unfortunate thing happen to him in just the early period of his career.

With what happened, the whole Memphis Grizzlies now need to do some adjustments to fill Morant's absence.

Right, same here, so he will be out indefinitely as there are investigations by the NBA itself and there could be legal ramifications here. They are looking at where and the exact location of the video, that club where he was show flashing a gun. It is right after the Denver game, so if it is in that place then he might have brought it with him in the place. And so it will be a severe punishment from the NBA as they are very strict bringing firearms in a NBA facility. And we have seen the effects already, they already lost their first game without him. And it's going to be very difficult for the NBA to punished Ja Morant as he is one of their brightest young stars. So Memphis and coach Jenkins will have to make a lot of adjustments now ad there are no timeline for Morant's comeback.

But with Kevin Durant's presence, the team's chances got a boost as well as their confidence and you can see it in their face that they are not that scared anymore to take a risky shot because they know that they still got a lot of chance.

We will see it then once the playoffs commence. Knowing Kevin Durant, and his heavy playoff experienced, never seen him choking or doing some sudden change in his performance when playoffs time even losing. If he can affect the whole Phoenix Suns' intensity of play once playoffs come, the team would be deadly.

Who knows Durant is the only answer for Chris Paul not turning into useless shit during playoffs after giving his always best during the season.

Although I'm not rooting for the Suns to win the chip this season, I want to see Chris Paul experience holding the NBA Championship trophy in his career.

What is worse is if that action affects his endorsement deals and his contract with the Grizzlies. He has an extension contract with the Memphis Grizzlies coming up. Hope he really gets help and not just release a statement to get clear of this trouble. He has a bright future ahead of him and it would be bad to see him blow it just because of some silly actions,

Booker has always been a bit of a weak trash talker, and that will continue to be like that for a long time considering that's a bit about someone's character and not something about their talent.

Booker and Doncic's argument was funny, but it was clear that it wouldn't grow any further. As long as there is no physical violence in this regard, I find such quarrels amusing.
Phoenix was a really dangerous team, as you all said. Having both Durant and Booker on the team offers more offensive options. They became one of the duos that scored 35 points each. It's hard to defend that. A healthy Phoenix will pose a threat to all opponents.

Booker starting another weak trash talk. But hopefully they will be able to defend his trash talk because remember last year he trash talked Luka, but the Mavs won their series in the playoffs.

The Phoenix Suns are now officially a very scary team after the game against Chicago and they just boost their chances to win the Finals this year. Devin Booker seems like he's getting back to his old self with Durant on their team as he now have more spaces to make shots. Just like what I've said before, It is impossible to double team Durant, Booker, CP3, and Ayton all at the same play.
I may not be rooting for them to win the championship, but I cant deny the fact how strong this team is. Does Chris Paul finally get his first ring this year? Let's see about that lol.
That's the intention! Be a scary team!

Well, with Durant joining the Suns, it's all-important and I have no doubt that he will be one of the most talked about and dangerous teams in the NBA.

Honestly, I hope the Suns can be NBA champions this season!
With all due respect but they deserve that ring lol

If it wasn't because of CP3, I'm not that rooting for the Phoenix Suns to win at least the conference finals because I'm not yet convinced that they can survive the series rounds. Remember that the Phoenix Suns are choking at almost every playoffs they run into after having a successful run, they don't have that consistency to survive the whole 7 games if the game will have to take that long just to settle a rivalry.

But with Kevin Durant's presence, the team's chances got a boost as well as their confidence and you can see it in their face that they are not that scared anymore to take a risky shot because they know that they still got a lot of chance.

Finally, the curse of Westbrook has been broken, he finally won as a Los Angeles Clippers with a 135-129 win against the Memphis. But it as a tough win, they have to come back again from this game, they were outscore 51-30 in the 3rd quarter.

But it was the opposite in the 4th as they make a huge run, 26-2 to turn around the game on their favor to finally get the sigh of relieved of winning after the all star break.

PG and Kawhi combined for 76 points.

They needed that win to boost back their competitiveness. They already lose a lot after that trade. Hopefully, they will start to work on to whatever lapses that are still in their squad.

Start playing as one and take that full responsibility for the role that the team is needed from one another,
A good comeback, thinking that's another upset that will happen to them, but luckily, they manage to overtake
and win the last quarter to snatch this win.

Yes, finally, the LA Clippers won in their game against the Grizzlies. Although I was already expecting that because the Grizzlies was without Ja Morant yet the Clippers still almost got defeat by the visiting team. But a win is a win, I hope this will boost their confidence because they already manage to win a game against a tough team.

The return of Steph Curry didn't end with a happy ending. It seems like they are catching up on their rotation. Klay Thompson's performance is almost the same as what he always did but it's Jordan Poole who I think is changing whenever Steph is back. This should not happen. Consistency must be preserved.
Then, Jonathan Kuminga played only 13 minutes which again is surprising after he played 32 minutes against the Pelicans and scored 19 points. The big reason why they won that game.
17 games left, they need to fix this issue or else they will be in the play-in tournament before they realize it.  Cheesy There is not much of a gap between the 5th to the 8th seed.
On their final 17 games, 10 of them will be played on the road.
If they will not do something to at least be better on the road, it will not be a good sign for the Warriors.

On that game against the Lakers, one thing that they can't stop is Anthony Davis, and that's the reason why they lost. I mean how can you let Davis score 39 points with only 3 attempts on the three-point area? That's how awful the defense of the Warriors is. They have Looney yes. They have Green yes, but still they are lacking something defensively.

Expect some adjustments on their next game. They might give Kuminga more minutes like you said. They might give Poole more minutes like you said. With Wiggins still out, it will be a hard time for the Warriors, but I'm hoping he will come back soon or at least on the playoffs.

They are 9-0 since they acquired Josh Hard. Is acquiring Hart boost the morale of the team? What did he bring to the Knicks and why they are on a winning streak since acquiring him? Cheesy

Kidding aside, Quickley had a good night with his career high 38 points and he played 55 minutes while Randle got 31 points and Barrett also got 29 points. On the other hand, the Celtics had 2 chances to win the game, but Tatum missed on an open close range shot at the end of the first overtime, and Horford's three is just an inch away from going in and win the game. Good game for both teams, but the Knicks are rolling it since acquiring Hart. Cheesy

I mean hart is a nice piece but he has to be good luck 9-0 since we got him lol.  He brings defense and rebounding from the guard position which is nice.  Also helps he is one of jalen brunsons good friends.  They played together at Villanova and won a natty together.  That chemistry was already there from day one since brunson is the pg.  Made sense to pick him up.

The Nuggets -6.5 over the Raptors is without doubt the bet of the week for me.

The Raptors are coming off a hard fought overtime win on the road against Washington. They now have to fly to Denver to take on a fully healthy and rested Nuggets team who are 29-4 at home.

I seriously cannot see why the line is only -6.5.

This is the best bet of the week for me and I will be putting a decent amount on it.
Thank you for this call mate, I've put a very small amount of money on this game and also on the -6.5 call, i am highly confident that just as you have predicted, this game would be an easy win for the Denver Nuggets.

But even just incase the unexpected happens, since we cant rule that out as long as gambling/betting is concerned, I bet an amount I can comfortably lose, so whatever be the outcome of this game, not a problem at all, ive learnt from previous experiences  Grin.

Seems like a good bet. I usually don’t like betting spreads because teams can be pretty relaxed at the end of games. I would agree though that if Denver is motivated they could be the Raptors by 10+ easily. You just have to hope they don’t let the Raptors creep up at the end and beat the spread. It’ll probably be up to the coach.

However, having Durant certainly helps, they were pretty good until like this year, they even had a finals chance, and they lost, Bucks won, but they added Durant to that team which means that they are doing mighty fine and will be a good team in the end. Mavs are looking good too though, they could take on Suns on a 7 game series, maybe win, maybe lose, but they wouldn't be too bad for sure. It is always important to keep your cool whenever you can.

I just saw the news about Ja Morant. Big contract, big endorsements, rising NBA career and he ends up doing silly things like this. I think he needs a good mentor before anything else.

After all, he is just a kid yet to be a man who got a huge contract worth $200 Million. So it's somehow expected that he will end up doing foolishness and buying some expensive things in just a whim or if he feels like it but I didn't expect that he would end up doing this. What he lack is a mentor that will guide him professionally and as an individual to avoid doing such thing again in the future.

For sure there are too many kids, especially in Memphis, his home state, and other parts of the US that idolized him and might also do the kinds of stuff he showed in the public. Let's expect he will get one as his team and the NBA itself are probably giving him the advice to live rightfully. I like his confidence because it drives him to become greater than the greats but he should also listen to the advice given to him and avoid unnecessary scandals that can ruin his reputation and affect the lives of his young die-hard fans.
We can't just accept his immaturity and saying he is young and needs a mentor. I mean, that is right, of course, but Lebron and Kobe was also young and immature. They didn't do such things. His bad behaviour is just inexcusable. We should talk about his basketball first and then some aspects of his private life, but what the hell guns should be mentioned about a player. I think that is unacceptable and NBA management should be hard on these issues.

That Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns game might have been the best game of the year. Entertaining down to the wire and I’m glad the Suns got the win. Booker talking smack to Luka with 3 seconds left when they secured the sun was pretty weak, but still a great game.

Funny that Giannis gave himself a rebound at the end of the Bucks game for a triple double.

In any case though, still a good game between the two, superstars in both side carry their team, but in the end it was Durant and Booker for the Suns, 37 and 36 respectively. And then that Luka missed, as they could tie the score that time.

As for the trashtalk, Booker has been trashtalking everyone I guess. And maybe he can forget what Luka did to them last year in the playoffs that he took it personally. And when he see that they are taking the W, then he has to make Luka pay for it.
Yes, he has been trash talking everyone and it is too much. But his game backs it up, at least. What he did to Luka was quite bad though. Luka was right saying that he should talk early in the game, not at the end when they win.

I don't like teams who are reliant on theor outside shooting.

But that was the thing now in the NBA that even big man is having a good outside shooting percentage.

It's not like before when "defense is the best offense".

However, comparing Bucks and Celtics, the former has the upper hand in terms of inside scoring and it's obvious that Giannis Antetoukoumpo's main forte' is always in the paint. Unlike in Boston Celtics, that mostly, their field goal always came from perimeter and rainbow area shooting. Now depends on how they will execute their respective strategy if they will faced each other in the playoffs.

Everything will boil down to defense if these two will meet in the Conference Finals. The better defense will win. On this note, I like the chance of the Celtics being better than the Milwaukee Bucks. Sure, no one on the Celtics team will be able to pin down or even slow down Giannis alone. But good thing is, it is a team sport. The Celtics have a good defense, and they are on par with scoring with the dynamic duo of Brown and Tatum.

Not just the best defense but the team who got the best offense as well win have a better chance to win the game. We know that Giannis and the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks are good as they are a former champion but their power when combined is not that good compared to the Celtics where almost all of the players in the roster is capable to give at least two digits per game especially if they needed someone to step up if Tatum himself is struggling.

Either way, if these two will face each other in the conference finals. The fans is already winning in terms of entertainment as both teams mentioned are quite good when it comes to offense and defense. It will be a matter of which team will provide more turnover that will be taken as advantage for the opposite team, the more mistakes committed, the less chances of winning.

all these NBA games happen at 2 am, just when I'm getting ready to sleep and even if I make an effort to watch it, then I would have to sleep at 4 am, very complicated situation

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics

Cavaliers comes into this game occupying the fourth position in the East, and in the last games they had 6 wins and 4 losses, they had their most recent victory against the Pistons, they have Donovan Mitchell as a doubt for this game, honestly if he doesn't play will be a problem for the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell managed to score 20 points in the last game of the Cavaliers, meanwhile their opponent the Celtics who had a very large number of wins and a small number of losses, were 45 wins and 20 losses, there is no been well in the last games to the point of having 2 consecutive defeats, the Cavaliers have absences of: Cavaliers. but they have Jayson Tatum very well and ready to score a lot of points

my guess: Cavaliers win

Indiana Pacers - Philadelphia 76ers

Pacers come to this game with a bad performance, they had 36 losses and 29 wins, and in the last games they lost in 6 games and only won in 4 games, but their last game was a victory against the Bulls, maybe it will serve as a motivation, although it was a victory by a small difference of points. the pacers are missing: Aaron Nesmith and Kendall Brown. meanwhile their opponent the Philadelphia 76ers has 41 wins and 22 losses, and a very good performance in relation to the pacers, having won 7 of the last 10 games, including in their last game they beat the Bucks, my guess: the Philadelphia 76ers will win

Detroit Pistons - Portland Trail Blazers

Pistons come to this game with a bad performance, they lost in 49 games and only won in 15 games, honestly this is really a bad performance, in the last games they lost 10 games in 9 games and they are with 7 consecutive defeats, and there are many shortcomings and players in doubt: Cade Cunningham, Bojan Bogdanovic, Isaiah Stewart, Jalen Duren (embezzlement); Killian Hayes, James Wiseman and Rodney McGruder (Doubtful); I don't know if using the word luck would be the right term in this situation, but they are lucky because their opponents are not doing well either, they have 30 wins and 34 losses, in the last 10 games they only won 4 games, but in their last game managed to beat the Orlando Magic. Bookmakers are putting odds of @1.40 for the Magic in case of victory, I think it is a very low odd given the risk, both teams are bad

Miami Heat - Atlanta Hawks

Heat come to this game with 34 wins and 31 losses, and in the last 10 games they have had 6 losses, but they have a victory in their last game, maybe this will serve as motivation against the Hawks, but they have: Kyle Lowry and Nikola Jovi; on the other hand, their opponent, the Hawks come to this game with a performance very similar to the heat, they have 32 wins and 32 losses, in their last game they lost precisely against the Heat. in my opinion Heat will win again

Denver Nuggets - Toronto Raptors

Nuggets come to this game with a good performance, they had 45 wins and 19 losses, and in the last 10 games they lost in just 2 games, meanwhile their opponent the Raptors comes to this game with 32 wins and 33 losses, but in the their last 10 games they did very well to the point of having only 3 losses, despite the Nuggets being the favorite I see that it will be a very difficult game for them and the value of this odd is very low

Yes, I thought that they are going to lose this game because they are facing a though team, and it took them 2 OT for the Knicks to squeeze that big win and maintain their position in the East. Just half a game behind the Cavs, but I think they shouldn't be concern of their position for now, just play the best of the remaining games and see how they will go, 3rd good be the highest they can get for now.

The return of Steph was spoiled by the Lakers, they cut the lead by 2 by Donte's two assists, but then Davis put the game for good. 39 big points for Anthony Davis.

And finally the curse of Russell Westbrook was broken, finally won against Memphis without Ja Morant start of his 2 game suspensions. Not sure if this is just the beginning for Morant or he might serve longer suspension because of that video.
