Can't wait to watch tonight's golden state and bucks game, should be a good one on prime time tv, they should all be up for this one.

Giannis isn't playing but the game is balanced in first quarter. Both teams missed too many shots. JaMychal Green started good. It looks like the game will go head-to-head until the last moments. Current performances are below expectations.

LOL Steph Curry's full-court tunnel shot drills a fan in the head.

Although the Denver Nuggets are a good team, the Spurs are a team that knows how to win. They have a winning culture under Coach Gregg Popovich but only lack talent because they are composed of young guns who, at the same time, play hard.

No offense to San Antonio Spurs fans but I don't take that win against the heavy favorite Denver Nuggets. It's just another usual upset game this season. Spurs won not because they know how to win with the influence of the winning culture you are referring to about Coach Pops, but rather just play the usual basketball and give their best. The Spurs are currently in tanking phase and somehow in the process of rebuilding the team mostly by their own draft players and not by getting a big fish in free agency.

In my own honest view though, Coach Pops should let other coaches he can consider and trust, handle the new San Antonio Spurs. Not that he will totally leave the organization but rather it's just that the new generation should be handled by a new generation coach too. I know others will disagree with it but Coach Pops' system is really just effective during the prime years of the team when he handled it.

I think it's more on the mindset of this young guys, a positive reinforcement for them that they can win games against the best teams out there if they will just put the effort, so I guess this is a what we call morale booster win for the young Spurs.

Yeah, same view here, respect for Coach Pops to stay this long in the NBA, however, it seems that maybe, this era is very different from what Coach Pop use to be and so his style might be outdated, just saying.

Yeah, the updated Lakers roster continues to surprise us. It looks like the Lakers' management made the absolutely right and important decision for the team by trading Westbrook for Russell. At least Russell's performance in the last game against the Raptors is a clear example that he is exactly the guy who is needed by the Lakers, as he was able to take the initiative and lead the team to a victory.
Very interesting that after they've traded Westbrook, they've got better stats compared to where Westbrook is still with them. Although no offense with Westbrook while he's still with the Lakers but it seems that after his transfer, they became better.
And the team that he's got in which is the LAC is dropped a bit and suddenly has got that noticeable misfortune. Not saying that he's an unlucky guy but it is truly noticeable and that's what the fans are relaying about with the transfers that have happened to him. But just as the Lakers, hopefully that the time will be going along with him and that kind of feedback to him and his transfers might eventually be replaced by amazement.

Oh well, the reaction is different or even half though, saying that it's not Westbrook which is the problem in Lakers, but what can we say? after the trade-off, Lakers has gotten to a good start now, and now in play-in and possible to move up in the ladder if this can continue with the momentum.

On the other hand, Westbrook and the Clippers are struggling to keep their rankings and obviously has fallen from their 4th spot since they get Westbrook. So now the picture is much clearer, just saying.

And now the Knicks on a 3 game losing streak.  3 games without brunsen.  Even bigger reason to see how big brunsen means to this team.  The Knicks will only go as far as jalen will take them it seems.  They need a win or 2 to salvage this west coast trip.  Would hate to see them slide into the 7th or lower spot.

It does not matter if they can perform well without him or not, now they will have to perform. They will have to find a way to perform without Kevin Durant on the team. This is something anybody can face at any given time. So the teams will have to prepare for any kind of situation like this. I believe the Suns are going to fix this problem somehow, because they just  simply have to.

They still has Devin Booker and Ayton on their line up. Even though Kevin Durant will be out for the regular season, they should not have problems winning games with these two still in their team. Plus, CP3 will be there to guide them in the court. Durant is a big loss but this will give way for Devin Booker to step up and prove he is still the leader of this team.

Yeah, the updated Lakers roster continues to surprise us. It looks like the Lakers' management made the absolutely right and important decision for the team by trading Westbrook for Russell. They moved up from 13 to 9 after they traded Westbrook. But the west is still very closely packed though. They can be overtaken anytime by pelicans and Jazz or they could move suddenly to 6 if they continue their winning streak. The good thing is, they are doing it without Lebron on the court. Hopefully, Lebron will not destroy the flow when he comes out of injury.

The Lakers are doing good from their last 10 games, with DLo back in the line up, last night was such a huge come back for him. Surprisingly, they won against the Raptors, even with several turnovers in the first half and with AD who just finished with 8 points. Anunoby  and Barnes can't even miss, thought the Lakers was gonna lose this game, but the bench and DLo stepped up and managed to make a huge run in the 4th.
Again, if they continue to play in this kind of level and consistency, they are going to avoid an extra work from the play-in and secure a good playoff spot.
One of the most important things is AD had 8 points and still Lakers won by 10. That shows some good things about the team. Well, in my opinion, it also says some things about Raptors' defence too. But,
D'Angelo Russell played very very good and it was exactly what Lakers needed. Dennis Schröder also played very respectable, I always knew he had a good potential but couldn't show enough. He also played great in the last Eurobasket, which shows how players can be when they take responsibility. I can't believe we are talking about how good was Lakers. Who knew? If AD stays healthy, which is a high doubt itself, things will be good for Lakers.

Now the streak of Jokic is over as the Spurs made an upset and won against the top seeded Nuggets. 2nd to the last seed won against the top seed? That's more upsetting than Hornets beating the Knicks on the road. First they lost against the Bulls on their home, and now they lost on the road against the Spurs. I have nothing to say, but just an upset.

Jokic had a triple double on this game, but since he lost, his streak of winning every game when he got a triple-double has ended now.

Honestly that Spurs is not this spurs, they do not know how to win, they are one of the biggest losers in the league right now and want to be one of those teams that want to get Wemby this summer.

Everyone thinks that this kid will be a generational talent, someone that can be as good as any stars in the league and I believe that they are right, but this is why Spurs lose all the time, in fact, losing is better for them and this win was something bad for them. They can't actively tell the players to lose, hell they can't even tell the coach to lose, Pop won't want that, but they can be a bad team and lose because of that, this was a fluke in the system.

Some said that the San Antonio Spurs can somehow be a threat to the league if they would like to and their placement right now wouldn't be like that if they are not tanking for a reason. Well, part of me is indeed agreeing with what some of the people are saying and the game earlier was one of the proofs that they could be hard if they wanted to.
It's just that the Spurs right now are still exploring their talents while getting some experience and that is somehow expected by a team full of young but dedicated, maybe next season, the Spurs will be a different team.

Perhaps the lost of the Nuggets is just a blip. As for San Antonio though, yeah there are a lot of young talents in that team and it seems that they are still exploring. But once their is a perfect fit already or they have mature or get some very talented players, they are going to be a very difficult team to beat.

Coach Pop knows what he has to do, and maybe there are games that he really showed his experience as one the best coach in the NBA.
Yes, I guess we can say that because coach Pop is an experienced coach that has been delivering championship teams in the league for quite some time now. Safe to assume that he got a long-term plan for the current Spurs roster that is why we are not seeing him so furious of their outcome because he is just letting the players do their thing to acquire experience.

Suns vs the Kings might be a good game to see, two of the best in the West.
In-fact, I'll be watching that game later but I reckon that it will be much interesting to see if the Suns are a healthy team just like the Kings right now.

Embiid again came as the savior of the Philadelphia 76ers. Simons did well for the trailblazers. But yes it is true that the trailblazers actually choked. They actually should have had it in the bag. But they could not hold on to their nerves in the end. This match could have gone either way. Credit to the Philadelphia 76ers for being able to clutch the moment.

Spurs won against Denver Nuggets. This was honestly an upset. Of course, the team was underrated by a lot of people. And the media was also trying to hype up the better team. The match was actually a good one for Spurs. They had an overall good performance.

Definitely the Spurs game was the surise of the night.  I had them at +13 I didn't think they would win but they did.  I'm trying to find what the money line would have paid had to be huge.  Road team favored by double digits rarely ever works out.  I'm sure the Spurs fans wouldn't mind them losing more though

I hedged my other multibets by selecting the Spurs to win. Unfortunately, that was also a parlay bet that included the Portland trailblazers beating the 76ers. As it turns out Portland lost by one point to the 76ers so my insurance bet that would have paid off huge ended up missing by one point. That’s about how my bets have been going lately, but I still can’t resist the urge to make a massive score of a tiny bet.

I haven't watch the game, and seeing the Lakers winning and then AD finishing with just 8 points seems unreal and I ask if he got injured again. But then D'Lo step up the plate in his comeback game and the instrumental player for their huge win.

We have said that every game is important right now, they are log jammed, 5-9 and anything can happen and this position can change until the last game of the season. Warriors though in a 3 game losing streak since Steph went back to the line up.

That's the sad part of the games today.
We are talking lately about his triple-double winning games and yet it was broken today. I actually made a bet for them during live games as I thought they can come back from the deficit made by San Antonio. Closing games, that's where I am hopeful to see them perform well. But when Murray shoot that last three-pointer and miss it, I knew it was the end game when he shook his head.
I am a little sad to see Jokic make a triple-double and yet not win the game but shit does happen. MPJ will be a great help again when he returns and I am hoping he will be healthy in the playoffs.
Not an important game since they are the top of the West but it's always better to see them win games.

Yes, but the mental aspects though, his records being broken by the San Antonio Spurs and whichever angle you look at it, still sucks in my opinion. So it's either Jokic move forward and not affected by it, or he will carry this one in his mind till the end of this season.

At least Hornets being upsetting the Knicks is playing very well already, as compare to the Spurs wherein teams are beating them in double digits.

And Hornets are going up against the Jazz, slight underdog again.

I mean it is a big blow. But they still should be able to perform well. After all, they are still a good team without having Kevin Durant. What I am trying to say is they are of course not going to feel like everything has ended because they don't have Kevin Durant available because of injury. When he does come back from injury it is going to be really great and the team will also be more powerful.
This remains to be seen as there's no assurance that Durant will be able to come back this season. However, at least the team has won some games even without Durant, so I think they can compete well in the playoffs.

We will have to wait for the re-evaluation in two weeks to know his real status.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-injury-update-suns-stars-sprained-ankle-expected-to-be-re-evaluated-in-two-weeks-per-report/

It does not matter if they can perform well without him or not, now they will have to perform. They will have to find a way to perform without Kevin Durant on the team. This kind of risk is given and it’s a small price to pay compared to the amount of contribution that a player can give both performance and popularity to the team which usually drives the profit of a team since many fans of that star player will now support his new found team.
The chance of a player being injured is very low also the management can check the injury records on a player before they will acquire him.
Yes, the management already done with assessment before acquiring or trading any players, they understand well if what contributions
and how the fans will embrace the new asset that they will acquire.
In regard to Durant, we all know how impacting this player for the team and how they will benefit when Durant is healthy.
The contributions and how good the player can help in chasing the world title.

Exactly. Just because a player might get injured after he comes to the team, doesn't mean that teams will not try to bring him in. Regardless of whether the player being really good or not every team understands that there is going to be a risk of players getting injured. But without him, they are probably not going to find a certain team comp that they want. And eventually, they are not going to win enough matches.
When Kevin Durant is healthy, he is going to be unlike any other player on the team and also really perform well as usual.

Good player or not, it always have risks.
A team might have a developing player, choose to trade because of how long he took to develop himself and when he got traded, that's the time where his skill got unlocked and he became an all-star.

For this one, the Suns risked it all, traded Bridges, Johnson and some picks for KD because their door on winning a championship is slowly closing. CP3 is almost past on his prime already. If they will not win a title this season or next season, expect some huge changes with the team and that includes possible trading some of their core players like Booker, Ayton, and even Durant. Well, that's the risk that the Suns took. The only question now is, will the risk that they took be rewarded with a title.

The Suns for sure will clinch the playoffs, and we expect him to come back at the start of the playoffs at least, so we will see him playing his debut game on the home during the playoffs. Cheesy

Absolutely. There is always a chance of a player getting injured regardless of whether him being a really good one or not.
The point I am trying to make is when the player is a big one, a team generally tends to spend a lot of money or resources to get him in.

So, when any team tries to bring in a really good player the stakes are high.

I do have high hopes for the Suns. I believe they should be able to do it without Kevin Durant. At least they can get to the playoffs.

They still have Booker and CP3 and Ayton, it's just the question if this trio is enough. They used to have Bridges playing point as well and then Cam as sort of their defensive specialist and in which they exchange to get KD. And to be fair, KD doesn't want to get injured again, not in this way.

But it's an accident, no one wanted to see it happen, it's a big blow to the Suns, but they have to accept it now and then move forward, re-assessed the team and make adjustments again.

It's not just KD, all players in the league don't want themselves to get injured and just like everybody else's team, they don't want their stars to get injured especially in Durant's case where he is the last hope of the team as the Suns freed a lot of names that could've help the team when someone is injured but this time, it's the hope who got injured. But what happen was quite unexpected and I cannot even say if it's inevitable or not.

Let's just hope that he can return in a matter of days or even 2 weeks and hopefully, what happened to him is not that serious even if it really looks painful.
