He made an easy shortcut by joining Wade and Bosh in Miami, just like Durant, he also joined Curry and Thompson to win championships. If there's no hope in a team, then that talent needs to be taken to a team that has a decent chance of winning a championship.
Easy shortcut? I will disagree with that.
When Lebron James joined the Miami Heat, there are lots of strong teams during that season, the stacked Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, etc. Miami Heat was also not that performing well a year prior when they acquire Lebron. The team was eliminated by the Boston Celtics with superstars Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen on board in 5 games in the 1st round of the playoffs. Lebron joined Wade and Bosh to challenge those superteams.
The situation was different and can't be compared to when Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors where prior to his arrival on the team, the Warriors have a record of 73-9 and they are reigning the NBA during that season. Warriors though on that year, even with that record lost in the Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers even though they are up by 3-1.
I also agree with this analogy. In the 06-07 season of the NBA, literally LeBron James led the Cavaliers to the NBA finals, but that unfortunately was easily defeated by the Spurs, so in the next season, Celtics restructured and became an excellent team, with that, I didn't see in a way LJ being a "cupcake" player going to the Heat, basically Miami along with Wade and Bosh restructured, thus being a great team, playing at the same level as the Mavericks, Spurs, Lakers and Celtics of that time.
Lakers 112 - 109 Heat
~
without a doubt Dennis Schroder was the guy who boosted our victory, he scored 32 points, our next game will be against the Hawks, we're going to beat them again
It's even surprising that the Lakers were able to beat a team like the Heat without LeBron and Davis. However, it should be noted that it's been almost halfway through the regular season, but the Lakers are still struggling, and it looks like the second half of the season will be tough for them because they still don't even qualify for a play-in tournament. As for Schroder, he performed really well in this game, but it's a pity he rarely performs that well.
I also noticed this, the Lakers won a close victory against the Heat without their best players (LJ and AD). This shows that the Lakers still have a team, that if they play with chemistry and have teamwork, they can still win other games without LJ and AD.
Young player Thomas Bryant and Schröder managed to guide the Lakers to victory, not to mention that Westbrook also helped the team.
Will this performance be maintained with the absence of LJ and AD?
