And they are saying that this could also be a strategy that the team has made because if they've won against Jordan, they'll certainly face these strong teams. But I am one of those people who won't be expecting to see Gilas getting gold. I'm not trying to be negative that's what really is what's being shown. China is getting the lead on the gold race and for sure they'd be careful on this one and wouldn't want to miss to get a gold medal and I agree after what they've been through with the FIBA, they'll never miss this one but I hope that I am wrong.
Either it's true or not the journey for taking the gold medal still possible, we do have game/s to win and if they will make it up to the finals, then we will see if what will be the fate of this new sets of gilas squad, I'm no longer being bothered by any critics as it's part of the system, I mean if you win there's still something to say about it and if you lose expect more to hear about it, so moving forward as long as the ASIAN tournament is not yet ended then who knows if luck permits maybe we will make it.
It's possible but everyone is just getting a lower chance thought because of how good the other opponents are. We can that the lost against Jordan was a blessing in disguise because Jordan and China are tough opponents and Gilas was able to move the other bracket without them.
But this shouldn't make us confident and comfortable that the path is going to be easy. Let's just take that every team on this Asiad are good team and that's why they're there. And we don't see that with the Gilas and the coach for now because all they wanna do is focus on reaching the highest placing that they can and hopefully that before this ends, they'll be able to get the gold medal despite including me that I am having lesser hope with that.
Yes indeed, the focus right now is to keep that hope alive and whatever bracket we are now, Gilas squad needs to work more, we have seen how they play the ball well against the very young squad of Qatar, they really dominated as they play great from both end, I mean, both offense and defense the squad showcase their dominance and take this game against Qatar.,
Looking to see more than once they've faced Iran and hopefully they can continue what they already established, that kind of trust and good ball rotations and that confidence to take every shot knowing that you are already got a clear look at the basket.
But your last statement has a big factor. China as the host country will do everything we can't do anything about it, though after watching how Jordan plays against us, the chance for gold is not just for China but also for this squad.
Yeah, they are a contender so as the Gilas but we will see if they're going to make it or not.
The ball is round as what we Pinoys' always believe, if by fate we will manage to get to the magic 4, semis is really the tough part before the finals, we will see what Gilas will bring to our pride.
