The odds for Philippines vs Jordan for the game tomorrow @8:00 PM is already out.

You can see the odds ; https://sportsbet.io/sports/basketball/international/asian-games/matches

Philippines 3.30 (+7.5)
Iran 1.30

This is the last game for the Philippines. I think we should at least bet on this game and forget what happened during the quarter-finals when the Philippines had a meltdown against Jordan. And yes, the Philippines will seek its revenge, so I think the moneyline is quite attractive.

If I recall correctly, the moneyline odds against China were even bigger, as they were +10 underdogs.

That must be Jordan mate, not Iran hehe. I'm fortunate enough that have pushed the bet button early as I still got the Gilas +10.5 @2.05, now the odds are shifting towards Gilas but I think not to the extent that they would be the favorites to win the Finals tomorrow.

They made it against the host country, China last night and I would not be surprised that coach Tim Cone and his Gilas wards would be holding the championship trophy when the final buzzer sounded.

Snatching that win against the host and heavy favorite team is something that will boost the confidence of Gilas, we have witness the greatness of each individual who participated to this campaign not just the players but everyone, it's something that we will going to take pride but like you I'm sure it's not done yet we will aim for the gold and complete this journey to a much better success.
Gilas, together with all those who continue believing and supporting this squad, we will conclude this after the finals..
Let's all hope and pray for our very own National squad!

The happiness of Gilas Pilipinas after winning that game has now become historical and it will be remembered forever because you can see how they never give up throughout the game and managed to snatch the win in the last minute of the 4th quarter. Isn't that amazing, it feels like I am watching Shohoku vs. Sannoh but this time they are real players who are fighting against their favorite team to win the gold medal but they somehow managed to win despite the hardships they suffered throughout the quarters.

The Philippines is rejoicing now. China was the heavy favorite, but we believe Gilas has a chance of winning. It turns out it was a huge upset, and Justin Brownlee really showed how special he is. I'm wondering why he wasn't in the NBA. I think he truly is a great player, a real superstar who knows how to finish the game.

With this performance by Brownlee, I think Ginebra is going to be unbeatable. (Sorry, a bit off-topic.)
We know how great Justin is and he did a great job last night now we have the chance to get the gold and hopefully we can get a win against Jordan this time. I don’t think Ginebra will be unbeatable because they are still losing despite of having Brownlee. Gilas must be proud for their performance, this is our good comeback.
Its actually a total team effort and the whole Gilas did their best to cut the lead and luckily we have Justin to take over the lead. Now we are facing the team that beat us in Fiba and here in Asian games, hopefully to have a better chance now. The coaching staff should be more wise on making their decisions, we already have a good player and they only need is to have a better strategy.
I'll call the chance now 50/50, considering Gilas fell to Jordan during their first meeting. However, winning against the heavy favorite to win the championship would certainly give Gilas enormous confidence going into the Finals. Jordan should not be complacent, as the Philippines has overflowing confidence; they will play hard to win the gold as they want to continue making history.

Actually, by reaching the Finals, the Philippines has already made history, but we are not content with that; we need to win the Finals.

Go GILAS!

They almost lost hope in that last quarter of the game since China always hit their shot but luckily Brownlee really feel it and hit those big shot. No one expect that they can still able to win that match since I even turnoff the live stream on last 2 minutes of the game since I thought that Philippines is already lost. Miracle happen and this is totally a morale boosting to them that's why right now they create a history for reaching at medal round. Now Jordan is another big challenge to them since so far this country always defeat them and their last match up is totally awful so lets hope we can see a well prepared Philippines and can execute good passes to take a gold medal for this year.

Go GILAS!

Yes, 1962 was the last time the Philippines won a gold medal in Asian Games basketball, held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Winning against China feels like winning the championship in this tournament. Just imagine playing against the host country. Hopefully, they will still give their best against Jordan in the Finals.
That was a long time ago, but now we have a chance, and we shouldn't waste it. No matter what the outcome is, I'm sure the fans are already proud of what Gilas has achieved. Getting to the Finals is not easy; we beat our strong rivals, Iran and China. Now, it's time for revenge. Watch out, Jordan!

Just in case Justin Brownlee played in the FIBA World Cup in the last tournament instead of Jordan Clarkson, do you think the outcome for Gilas would have been different or better?
I don't know; I think there's no major problem with the players. It's obviously the coach.

Yeah, everyone is celebrating this win of Gilas against China and it's certainly an upset not just by the record through the odds but also in the actual game. I am also seeing those debates that are putting an end about on who's better naturalized player, Justin Brownlee or Jordan Clarkson. Well, it concludes that both of them are needed and essentially good on their respective plays. JB did contributed a lot or let's just say that he's likely the one that made all of those shots. Alas did also great by those clutch plays while it's disappointing with many free throws that have been missed instead of them taking time to shoot and count it as a score. JB seriously is considered as a hero at that moment, and for that last ball posesssion I thought that China will just pass it to their big man and he's the one to take that dunk or close shot. But that good defense from Gilas did it.

With this performance by Brownlee, I think Ginebra is going to be unbeatable. (Sorry, a bit off-topic.)
Not off topic but seriously if he's going to be just consistent as that play, you're right. However, yes, there's a but because some imports have been reported already from other teams like in Phoenix who's gonna be with an NBA veteran Johnathan Williams.

They will be more encouraged and fierce this time. Let's just hope for the best and let's pray for the Gilas that they'll win against Jordan even we know that they've lost against them last time but this is a nice rematch and I don't want to be contented despite Gilas secures silver medal.

The Philippines is having a good run in the 4th quarter, and the lead of China is now trimmed to single digit. But another bad miss by Thompson, 2 FTs that were missed. Hopefully, this will not haunt him again in case Gilas will fail. But there's still more time, time to correct the mistake and continue the momentum to win. Good luck, Gilas.

Score now is 67-76.

Final score 77-76, Gilas going to the Finals, congrats and thanks to Brownlee for his clutch 3 point shots.

Wow, Justine Brownlee is the savior of them all, what a ball game.

When the score read 76-67, I stopped watching the game as i thought that was it for the Gilas but when i came back to watched the final score, wow, i couldn't be believed what i saw, Gilas won by a point and we are going to the finals against Jordan.

Wow, just wow.

I can't believe what I saw. Justin Brownlee took over the game and wasn't afraid to take 3-point shots. He was perfect despite the defense of China being so focused on him. Without Brownlee, Gilas would easily lose. Now, there's no debate about who fits better on the team. It's JB, not JC.

Meanwhile, with this win, Gilas will be facing Jordan in the finals. It's a rematch where Gilas lost by a huge margin in the 4th quarter, but that shouldn't be the barometer for this game. Gilas knows how to come back, and that's important.

All I can say is that I enjoyed the game, and I'd like to say good luck in advance in the finals. Hopefully, we will get the GOLD.

It's Jordan vs. Saudi Arabia first, then Gilas vs. China. The winners of their respective games will face each other in the Finals.

I tried to look for the Jordan vs. Saudi Arabia live stream on Facebook, but it seems that no one is streaming it. Probably the game is not popular, or Filipinos are not interested in streaming it. But for sure, Gilas vs. China, which will be starting at 8:00 PM, should be the anticipated game of tonight.

As for the betting odds, there's a major movement that happened. The Philippines moved to 5.30 for the moneyline and +10.5 for the handicap.

Seems that the odds will continue to attract pinoy gamblers, with that ML and Handicap we may see more loads of small to decent amount of bets to show that support for the Gilas, something that is worth to risk and maybe if by chance and luck bring the fate for the national to upset the host team, that will be a great achievement for the team.
It's understandable. China is the host team, and they have a good lineup, although their NBA player who was the center is not playing. But they have twin towers who could possibly pose problems for our bigs. Our chance here is for Brownlee to play like LeBron, and our shooters need to have their aim steady. I can't wait to see the game. I still have my support very high, and hopefully, Gilas will have a good night with a win.

Though not the finals yet and for sure, whoever wins against Jordan and Saudi will also be a good competitor for the gold medal.

I think Jordan will win, or they may have already won the game. So in case the Philippines will upset China, Gilas will have a chance to rematch Jordan, and maybe the outcome would be different.

So the odds are now available, and I believe this is in all sportsbooks.

Philippines @ 3.85
China @ 1.23

The handicap is +8.5.

This is a big challenge for the Philippines. It looks like a championship game since China was the heavy favorite to win this competition. Also, the crowd is favoring China, so it's like JB now is playing a Ginebra team where the fans will be so involved. I guess I'm just going to sit this one out. I will still be watching the game, but I choose not to bet on this.

It's quite risky betting on the Philippines, but not betting at all is not fun. Just my personal opinion, they are in the semi-finals, so I'm sure they'll do everything not to be lax on defense like what they did against Jordan. A win here is going to be their ticket to the Finals, so I believe that even if the Philippines are the heavy underdogs, I trust them to upset the host team. I'm not even thinking of betting on the handicap, straight-up win for me.

I guess if adding some more fun while supporting the National squad might lead us to bet for them, I mean like you most of us who supporting this squad will find a way to place some extra spare either with the handicap or with the ML, it's now or never again for the team, we can't remove the fact that we are heavy underdog here as main host China most of the time win the gold each time Asian games is being played inside their home crowd.

Let see if upset will happen or it will be that same fate way back 21 years ago if my memory serve me right, hopefully we will be able to find ways to make that good stop and continue to ball rotations to spread and create an opening.
