Any news on Berto Bolick guys? Have read that his stint in Taiwan will materialized as NorthPort and him can't agree in a contract.
I saw on a Facebook post that Bollick might have a short stint on Taiwan as his contract in NorthPort expiring soon. Snow Badua predicted that he might be Japan-bounded, but it seems like Taiwan is the next destination for him. If he will go there, he will see the 2 big centers Howard and Sim Bhullar there.
Good place for him to land is in Japan since he can showcase his talent their, but still its also good if he will be on taiwan because for sure the experience he can get from those big guys and also the other imports accumulate by taiwanese league. Since if he decide to stay for sure he maybe place on bench because SMB and MVP group has a lot of talents.
T-1 league in Taiwan is an emerging basketball league and it's becoming more popular as more ex-NBA players are playing there. Howard is the first ex-NBA player that played in T-1 league under the Leopards and there might be more ex-NBA players that might go and play there. Those players who unfortunately didn't get any contract in the NBA will prefer playing overseas like in China where Tacko Fall is playing or in Japan maybe or in Taiwan.
Overall, seeing a PH player playing outside our country is always a good thing. After all, he will never win a title if he is on NorthPort right?
SMB will play again tomorrow, it's their 2nd game in this conference.
They'll be playing the Bossing, while in the 2nd game, it's the battle of NLEX vs TNT Tropang Giga.
1- Blackwater 5.40 vs SMB 1.12
2- TNT 1.52 Road Warriors 2.36
I think it's good to risk on the Road Warriors as they are still undefeated now, their import is also playing an impressive game, so who knows?
On the first game, I will also pick SMB on that one though the odds are not attractive anymore.
On the second game, it's hard to pick which of them will win since both teams are playing well on their last 2 games. I might choose NLEX on this one probably because the import of NLEX is more dominant than the import of TNT plus the fact that he's also an ex-NBA player makes that odds more attractive to me. I'll bet on NLEX.
