It's been written already. I like the series to go to a Game 7, but I don't think it will happen. I don't know why but my instinct is saying that it will not .
I think it's more fun to see that this series will be longer. The hype and drama that it creates are really enjoying to see, this is the type of finals that we've been waiting for.
And this is more special because the finals are for the first time in history with a guest team and they're not just a simple guest team but really, a big and strong team.
I'd like to see it going to a Game 7 but like I said, I think that the Ginebra will end it in 6 games because if it will go to a Game 7, they might lose it and knowing that the Dragons can defeat them even without an import, it's a threat for them if it will be stretched to 7 games. It's only my observation.
How? We saw that some players of the Dragons stepped up in Game 4 in order to get the win. Players like Zhu SongWei being the ball handler and Kobe Lam being the scorer. In Game 3, Lam only scored 17 but in Game 4, he scored 30 which is a huge step up for him. The Dragons managed to block the paint thus, they outrebounded the Ginebra 52-37. Their other bigs are capable of defending the paint as well. Their big Liu and Duncan Reid is a big help for the team defensively.
Add all of these and with Nicholson coming back, there is a chance that they can still defeat the Ginebra in Game 5. On the other hand, Ginebra has a 6th man lurking around and that is... I will not say the name. I will just let you guys think about it .
