Looks like there's no Bay Area Dragon bettors here.... am I right? hehe.

Also find this weird because on papers, the Dragons is a talented team with Nicholson leading the charge for them, even though the Kings have beaten the Dragons in the elimination, it is not the gage (at least for me) that this series is in favor of Ginebra. We all knew that a series is very different from a single game in the elimination as in the series they can make some adjustments on the succeeding games.

Anyways, i will update this post if ever i have already decided to bet for the Dragons.

Because the pressure is not the same in NBA betting where we relying not just on being a FAN but also looking at the capability of a team to win.

Here in Dragons vs Gin Kings, we are disregarding the dominant performance of Dragons because as Pinoy, we like to support our own.

I also think that the Dragons have a better edge compared to the Kings but I can't bet on them because I want to support our Pinoy team. Even on per-game betting, I can't see myself putting a bet on Dragons.

I'm not a pro baller but if I'm in that same situation with Enciso I will attract the defenders before dropping the ball to Perez, it will give him much clearer sight and the defense will be late to disturb CJ, though it's already done and we need to move forward, just saying Kabayan nothing to argue and everyone here is already moving forward to the finals... Roll Eyes Tongue

These players are under pressure. If the last possession of SMB was being able to discuss thru calling a time out they might be able to prepare.

Coach Leo Austria didn't use his timeout and let his players just do what they can during the dying seconds.

Here's the explanation of Coach Leo why he didn't use his timeout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=cJRH0kYTevE

Let's all forget about manipulation and stuff, let's enjoy what's about to come on Sunday and it's for sure going to bring the whole league's team against only one giant, the Dragons.
We'll see if Ginkings are really no match for them but this is finals and it's going to be the most serious match for both teams. And they'll for sure do everything they can to win this conference's trophy.
Yes, you are right that mate let's get forward, observe and place our bet on our favorite team.  This upcoming December 25 which is Christmas day the final two teams will duel and this is a very interesting one it because we all know how tough the Bay Area Dragon is and the main question here is that can The king of take down the foreign team or Bay Area will get that trophy. But in ginebra they must take this game serious.
We know how talented and strong the Bay Area Dragons are but we all want to support our very own home team and that's why we barely see some folks here to bet for the Dragons.
Even, though I've seen how strong the BADs are, still I'm eyeing for Ginebra to win this series. That's all I want to see and that will satisfy me for sure.

Probably, a Pinoy mentality here where they want to win Ginebra against the visiting team so it will be hard to place a bet especially if its against Ginebra.
Yeah, we just want to support our homegrown team even know we're aware how these Giants are likely to take a lead but we don't want to belittle Ginebra, they've won against them.

Yes, Bay Area proved a lot this conference and they have a better chance now to get the championship so for sure they will be more active in the finals which I think Ginebra should prepare for. Probably, I’ll just place my bet hours before the start of the game, there are still time to analyze and look for better odds.

So close but not enough. Yeah! It's going to be Barangay Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons in the finals. I think that this is going to bring more crowds to the coliseum. A guest team that has finally reached the finals and we're all going to cheer for our very own Gin kings against these giants. It's possible that this is going to be up to game 7.
First game is going to start on the Christmas day, December 25. I'm sure that many will gift themselves a ticket to watch this first finals match on this conference.

I think they can't dictate the guess team to manipulate the game since this will expose the league that there's a game fixing especially on finals where that mostly happen on local games. Maybe for now since Dragons are into the finals we can see a real intense game but I think Ginebra still no match with this since Dragons is so strong hopefully teams in PBA learn a lot from them.

SMB almost win the match and what we saw there are many opportunities to take a shot but they did not handle that situation two points lead by Bay Area is one position game by SMB and Bay Area dragon miss thier winning shot and the ball goes to SMB but the three point shot by CJ Perez and fajardo did not do it.   inseso has the ball with 2 opponent ahead of him I think if he gonna take that opportunity then maybe he dot it. But they look for Perez to take the shot.

All I see are the bets for Ginebra San Miguel, and I guess Bay Area is the favorite, so why there are no takers for the Bay Area?
I'm just here to observe guys, let's see if I'll be enticed to join the action.

Anyhow, congrats to the winners, especially to those who bet on SMB spread.
Hard to place a bet on the first game where both teams are on a good run of winning and we know Ginebra can be more aggressive now that they are into the finals again. Bay Area might have a better chance of taking the first game though, they seems to be more consistent this conference compare to Ginebra. Looking for some good odds as well for Ginebra, can’t decide yet on where to place a bet, finals are more interesting.

Ginebra needs to start solid here. They already seen how good the visiting team is in terms of adjustments. The system of Bay Area is something that coach Tim will challenge himself, but personally, I can say that Gin kings can match the visiting teams squad, height and speed plus skills and the never say die attitude. Something that will make the fans enjoy, the chance of watching the Gilas vs greater China's representative..

That was an intense game, if CJ's 3 point shot went in, things could be different and we might see a game 5 for this series.

Prior to CJ Perez's attempt to snatch a win, there are lots of open shots on SMB that they didn't manage to went in especially those missed free throws of their import Scott although overall he has a great performance in that game. Also, that wide-open 3-point shot attempt by Marcio Lassiter courtesy of Fajardo's rebound also missed.

The whole 4th quarter is intense and both teams are changing leads. But damn Dragons they are really dangerous in a 3-point area that even contested and defended well, they can still shoot the ball. Kobe Lam is insane and has shot shooting in the rainbow area.

I'm open for local betting in the Finals and will side with Ginebra. But is there anyone who will bet for Dragons here?

If only other teams except Ginebra will face the Dragons, I will pick Dragons instead. Cheesy

Not for SMB to push a do-or-die game, they've got a lot of opportunities in winning the game but those open shots didn't fell while Bay Area made even those contested shots which bring them the win, The last shot of CJ is a duty call which he needed to take a win or die shot, hard call but it's his obligation to take that responsibilities.

Moving forward, the finals will be intense. I see both teams are capable of bringing each player to matchup both in offense and defense.

Good luck mga Kabayan! just like the trademark of PBA " Kampihan na!

@bisdak40 and  @jakelyson. PM you already my GCASH number.

So let's move on to the Finals. I will be rooting for the Ginebra Gin Kings to win. I have Php 10,000 to risk.

edit,: @jakelyson payment received.

@Maslate and harizen, already sent my payment on the number you provided, please check.

Moving to the finals matchup and betting, money is getting bigger, do we need someone to escrow or just the usual P2P where we trust each other to pay the winner if we lose?

That is a lot of money to risk. I wonder if there are any Bay Area Supporters here. I am also reluctant to support them now because their opponent is Ginebra. We all know, Ginebra has a big fan base and that could affect how well they perform. They perform very well in front of their fans.

On the other hand, Bay Area is really dangerous specially their outside shooting. And their coach is also something else. We saw how quickly he adjusted against San Miguel.

It's the 3 point shooting of Bay Area that save them against SMB. If only SMB has some good outside shooters, things could be different as they control the inside which makes them unpredictable. Unfortunately, only CJ is doing his job, he seemed to be the import of the team as he is the most productive player in that game.

Very exciting game so far, though the Dragons are leading the game but I believe SMB will have another win to even the series. This will be a close game, those who take the spread should be confident that they will cover even if SMB will lose the game, as for me, I took a riskier bet, I have the SMB ML.

SMB Beermen vs Dragons was an exciting series but the other matchup was not. On paper, i thought that Magnolia has a chance to be in the finals by defeating the Kings but it turned out to be a blowout game in games 3 and 4.

Anyways, series is over, and congrats to those who bet for the Dragons and the Kings.

@harizen and Maslate, kindly dm me your Gcash number so i could pay your winnings.

jakelyson, hey bro please communicate with them on how you gonna pay them their winnings, thanks.

Congratulations to the backers of Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons. This will be a good series for the finals.

@harizen and @Maslate, dm me your Gcash as well so I can pay your winnings.

Is there going to be local betting again for the finals?

Congratulations Bay Area Dragons, they beat the SMB 3-1.

That was an intense game, if CJ's 3 point shot went in, things could be different and we might see a game 5 for this series.
But hey! it's all over, series over for both semi Finals and we will now see the Ginebra vs Bay Area.

So let the betting begins.
This will be an exciting match up, a heart of a champion and the team that are so eager to win their first championship here in the Philippines, Bay Area are more eager to probe themselves in PBA. The odds will surely in favor to Ginebra in game 1 because we all know, their fans will always be there to support them. Bay Area on the other hand should not be intimidated with the fans, they should focus more on their gaming plan. Honestly, its hard to place a bet but I will go for Ginebra here.
