SMB Beermen vs Dragons was an exciting series but the other matchup was not. On paper, i thought that Magnolia has a chance to be in the finals by defeating the Kings but it turned out to be a blowout game in games 3 and 4.

Anyways, series is over, and congrats to those who bet for the Dragons and the Kings.

This will be an exciting match up, a heart of a champion and the team that are so eager to win their first championship here in the Philippines, Bay Area are more eager to probe themselves in PBA. The odds will surely in favor to Ginebra in game 1 because we all know, their fans will always be there to support them. Bay Area on the other hand should not be intimidated with the fans, they should focus more on their gaming plan. Honestly, its hard to place a bet but I will go for Ginebra here.

I think they can't dictate the guess team to manipulate the game since this will expose the league that there's a game fixing especially on finals where that mostly happen on local games. Maybe for now since Dragons are into the finals we can see a real intense game but I think Ginebra still no match with this since Dragons is so strong hopefully teams in PBA learn a lot from them.

So close but not enough. Yeah! It's going to be Barangay Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons in the finals. I think that this is going to bring more crowds to the coliseum. A guest team that has finally reached the finals and we're all going to cheer for our very own Gin kings against these giants. It's possible that this is going to be up to game 7.
First game is going to start on the Christmas day, December 25. I'm sure that many will gift themselves a ticket to watch this first finals match on this conference.

My predictions were right . Ginebra Vs. Dragons in the PBA Finals.

I mean that would be more enjoyable than Ginebra Vs. SMB right or SMB Vs. Magnolia . One thing more is that Ginebra really is performing very well on a conference that has an import. On the other hand, the Magnolia still has the curse. The "Perform well during eliminations but can't convert it into title" curse. It happened many times to them already that's why I call it a curse.

SMB has some highlights as well even though they lost. The circus shot of Perez in the 2nd quarter and the Devon Scott poster over Nicholson in the 4th quarter. I mean if you watched it then you might saw it. The problem with SMB coming to Game 4 is JMF is having an ankle or foot injury IIRC and Tautuaa is injured. They don't have any big that can match Nicholson or even Liu on the paint. The Dragons are also quicker than the Beermen and I also saw one time where both Liu (7 foot 5 inch player) and JMF ran in transition and Liu out speed him. The Dragons are more athletic, quicker, taller and stronger.

It's over and my favorite team lost but seeing Ginebra Vs. Dragons is much more enjoyable. A win-win for both the audience and the management. I'll bet on this series that's for sure. Maybe somebody will act as an escrow again here and some bettors will put some bet? What do you think.

That was an intense game, if CJ's 3 point shot went in, things could be different and we might see a game 5 for this series.
But hey! it's all over, series over for both semi Finals and we will now see the Ginebra vs Bay Area.

Very exciting game so far, though the Dragons are leading the game but I believe SMB will have another win to even the series. This will be a close game, those who take the spread should be confident that they will cover even if SMB will lose the game, as for me, I took a riskier bet, I have the SMB ML.

Ginebra will advance now to the finals, as expected the chance of Mags is really slim almost a sweep if it's not with that winning shot of Paul lee but most of us if not all are expecting that Ginebra will advance to the finals, now it is concluded and they will wait now if SMB will try to push the series or the visiting team will complete the semis and will move to finals and meet BGSM.


One more win and that will be sweet Kabayan! let see if the Bay Area will finish it or if SMB will ask for another game and push it to do-or-die game.

Ginebra controlling the entire game since the start. It seems or maybe we should conclude now that Ginebra will enter the Finals. Even Stanhardinger was ejected early in the game due to Flagrant 1 Penalty II, doesn't seems a problem for Ginebra. The hot shooting on Ginebra just continues even if those shots are defended well. Magnolia has no answer.

Also hoping that SMB would win game4  and extend this series to game5 but the way I saw it on game2 and game3, very hard for them to do the job as they need to execute perfectly their plays against a more talented and taller Dragons but that game3 win might also give them confidence which might be a catalyst for that beeracle that I'm longing to happen hehe.

SMB vs Bay Area dragon next game for sure SMB will win again cause I believe that SMB can manage and handle the game against Bay Area like what they do in game 3 even though in first quarter Bay Area manage the lead but in the end of the game A beautiful play by SMB is the reason why they win. Looking forward from magnolia vs Ginebra then for sure in game four magnolia will win and in game 5 Ginebra will win.

I am surprised to see that Magnolia is slightly favored to win the next game. This is the opposite of the popular prediction here that Ginebra will end the series in game 4. Maybe the bookies are setting up a trap or they really think that Magnolia can tie the series. Anyway, the odds of Ginebra is very tempting, especially for their backers. San Miguel is quite tempting too but against Bay Area Dragon, it is risky to just go for the money line. I think the +5.5 for SMB is a better line. This will be a sure bet if we base it on Game 1 or 3.

I feel you, if the game is worth to watch then spending money is not a problem in the fans' eyes watching games that brings the enjoyment that they wanted to see is something that priceless. Not everything is about the money but the entertainment that the league is providing, especially now that the economy is starting to bounce back, and the timing of this holiday season where bonuses are just around the corner, commissioner Marcial and his gang will have that prosperous holiday celebrations.

For sure, if Gin kings and Bay Area will meet in the finals, the visiting team will realize how huge the fans will support the Brgy. might be a good motivation for them but more for the crowd's favorite Brgy.


Both underdog is capable of winning the game, tough pick but for those brave souls they can parlay both Brgy and SMB if luck permits
that will bring them huge profits.

Again, SMB has very attractive odds, they are still a slight underdog, but we know what they did last game. This is a close out game, I expect that they will play very hard so they will not be in the position to a possible elimination in game 5.

Well, it doesn't matter for fans as long as they are entertained with the games then they can spend more money into it. I mean I will spend as well if I know it will be worth it. Both games are enjoyable to watch I agree, and it will be more enjoyable in the PBA Finals.

Lee is a difference maker in the series. Him playing give them the victory in Game 2 but him not playing is just like "you let your team get demolished" or they really got demolished literally in Game 3. If Lee will not play in Game 4, it's over for them but some say that he will play so that's good news for them.

Ginebra Vs. Dragons in the PBA Finals will make the arena filled with Ginebra fans that's for sure. People will be happy and at the same time, Comm. Marcial will be happy. A win-win situation .

  - You are right there, for sure in the next confrontation between these two teams the Bay Dragons and SMB, it will be a fierce battle again on the court.

I just hope that SMB can control the Bay dragons again in their next match, though, I also know that it will be bloody and a challenge for the SMB team to be honest, but if each of their teams just has a really strong team work in the middle of the battle it will be easy for SMB to win, but if they only rely on one or two allies they will have a hard time winning for sure.

That is your feeling, I can't do anything about that. I just find it amusing that you are sensitive about this when it should be like that. You do not go into the game feeling already beaten. No matter how tough the opponent is, you go in trying to win. I do not find it arrogant or anything on the side of Austria or SMB since what they said is true. Ginebra beat the Bay Area Dragons once in the elimination round. That alone made his statement true. Then they beat them in game 3, though hard-fought they beat the Dragons. It is just an affirmation that it can be done. It does not mean they will win the series. It just means it can be done.

Don't get me wrong. If I feel annoyed, you can't do anything about it.

Why that inspirational quotes didn't happen prior in their series? Can you hear that coach saying anything after Games 1 and 2 but now because of winning in Game 3 he will just say things like that?

Being humble is all I want and they should finish the job first. Don't get me wrong about what I say.

Besides, I'm on SMB winning that series as no way I will support the foreign team. But we should also consider those close things that can happen.
