Honestly,  I'll lost in game 2 it because I'll betting on ginebra and this upcoming game 3 I'll bet again for the ginebra team as I think that they can dominate again those opponent cause all they need is a tight defense and a good rotation of the ball then they will win. also I believe in local players who can contribute well in the game three. CStand and aguilar with brownlee can do good in the paint area and other local can contribute by shooting outside.

There's always a chance to bounce back, and that is in game 3. Thompson should be shooting well so they will be able to spread the floor very well, last game, it was only Brownlee who are shooting well, others seem lost because of the tight defense of the Bay Area.

Coach Tim is probably cooking something in game 3, and I want to see that surprise, so let's get on the home team and the underdog at the same time.

Yes you are right that mate 7 foot tall guy in Bay Area is a nightmare of barangay ginebra as we all know that if they go to a man to man defense they can not handle the center of bay are all they need here is make a good team work if barangay ginebra will go for defenses a tight defense will be recommended. And in terms of offense all they need this that make the ball faster in rotate so that they can find their open teammates and fire for the free points.

They are not using him so much because Ginebra can easily make an adjustment and they love to run. This big man will make the play of the Bay Area slow and that will be taken advantage of the Ginebra especially on the fast break. He maybe so dominant in the center but with Ginebra good strategy on denying him the ball, he cannot be effective.

Yeah, he was barely used in this series, even against the SMB, JMF can still find a way to make points even guarded by a 7'5 defender. That's a big disadvantage of tall player because they don't run fast and they don't have a good shooting stroke outside. I guess even without him, Bay Area were still able to manage in defeating the Ginebra, but let's see what will happen in game 3.

I hope that we will see a 3.00 odds for Ginebra in game 3, although Ginebra looks really bad in game 2, I might be tempted to put my be on them, my 5k to win 10k, that's a great deal already. As what some fans are saying, it's 8 vs 5, that's in favor of Ginebra.

Last time it was 2.44 or 2.48 on some gambling sites, so I think it will remain since the series is tied and Ginebra will try to win here. Odds will only change if bettors believe a certain team will likely win, just like the Bay Area in game 2, it's a must win for them, otherwise they'll be down 0-2 before the long break.

The most consistent here is the total, we can always rely on the under as it will likely hit.

Japeth and C stand are very needed in terms of inside basket as we all know that they are good in offense and defense inside. But I think they need more go for tight defense as we all know that Bay Area still can have a good point. This loss must be the lesson of ginebra to know better in the next game maybe more three point shot and good lineup in the paint area they are needing to became stronger once again.

Japeth is not consistent yet, has not seen a good him from him, it seemed like he was intimidated with the size of the Bay Area, unlike in the all Filipino cup where only JMF is the biggest defender he will have to beat. This is different, Bay Area is moving the ball very well, there in and out offense is clicking and Ginebra has not made the right adjustment in game 2.
That’s why they lose on that game, the locals can’t help Brownlee that time and their biggest problem is the biggest defender of Bay Area. They have to adjust in game 3 if they want to take back the lead, it will be hard for Ginebra if they are going to give too much confidence for Bay Area, they can be more deadly as they already prove this many times this conference, game 3 will be more crucial for both teams.

That's how the Dragons expose them since they really get a problem in terms of defense so they need to adjust in that area and try to make their shooters work so that they will make the life of their biggest defender hard so that he push to go out in the paint and the finisher of ginebra can pentrate in the paint. Its just they need to rotate the ball and make their triangle offense work that's their key to win.

While Ginebra is expected to adjust next game, the same goes for Bay Area Dragons too.

I'm sure these teams already know what to do and it is just a matter of how they will properly execute it on the floor.

Since both teams now experience winning and losing this series, I'm expecting a close game in Game 3. I hope referees won't spoil the fun, especially the unnecessary call on some expected physical plays as fans want to see some physical actions.

As a veteran PBA player and played for Gilas against several countries already, Japeth Aguilar is surely not intimidated by the Bay Area Dragon's tallest players or anyone within a superstar level. It's really noticeable for him that since the start of this conference, his usual numbers and averages went down. He is really not making noise here in playoffs and it's just one time he did step up this playoff during the time Christian Standhardinger was thrown out of the game on their Game 4 bout in the Manila Clasico.

Maybe there are other reasons why Japeth is behaving like that since then.

A self-problem that he needs to overcome as Ginebra badly needs his usual performance and playing level.

The total crowd in game 2 was 16k according to the commentator, that's a huge crowd, and yet Bay Area remained focus all throughout the game.

The Game 1 crowd is way higher with 17,000 audiences @ SM MOA Arena. But yes, 16,000 @ Smart Araneta is also a huge crowd to consider.

Bay Area Dragons since their very first game in the conference are against the crowd, nothing new to them. Smiley

Teams do not need to adjust but rather just enhanced and improve their respective plays. Both teams already know how to counter each other and it now depends on how good their execution is. Every possession counts and mistakes can lead to a possible turning point.

Off-night performance by the Barangays but I like how Justin Brownlee is keeping up the spirit. Unfortunately, not enough to influence his teammates to push more. Besides, their fans should just move on as Bay Area Dragons is a tough team and no doubt, they are really strong against almost the entire teams in the PBA. Dragons always adjust every time they lose and next game, I expect Ginebra to do the same.

Don't like to see a game where a big lead always happened. I want to see several exchanges of lead, especially in the last quarter where everyone watching will be put on silent mode as no chance of seeing who will win at the end.

It's Ginebra's turned to adjust now, Bay area manage to find a way to work with how to break the tight defense of Ginebra the outside shooting also improves which gives the Gin kings the hard time, though I also see some lapses with the Ginebra's offense they are not effective very different from how they show up last game 1.

I like to see the new system from coach Tim. Bay area's strategy works in game 2 so it's time for new sets of gameplay and a good execution from both coach Tim and all the players.

Both teams had already laid their cards on the table, game 3 not be a one-sided game like game 1 and game 2. Coach Tim had accepted that they were outplayed, that said, I believe he will make a big adjustment in order to win and take the lead again.
But if you look at how the Bay Area defeated the Ginebra, they seemed to have no answer on the tight defense of the Bay Area. Brownlee can be defended as Bay Area has lots of tall players, but Nicholson is just too much, he can dominate inside and I think they will use the same strategy again.

Japeth and C. Stand were the missing link that game, they should own the inside.

Nothing unusual. As I expected, the Dragons won that Game 2 with a double-digit advantage as well like in Game 1.

If you've watched PBA Finals for many times, you might know already that this is "always" the scenario. One team will win and then the opposing team will win on the next game. That's why I didn't surprised when the Dragons won because it's kinda like a pattern just to hype the fans coming into the next game.
I guess the bettors will now be betting on the Dragons in game 3. This is our league, so ref should do something to give Ginebra a favor, it will be easy to manipulate the series to reach in game 7 because both teams are good, so at the same time, the league will also earn a lot of money.

Not in the first games of the series.
I expect this kind of game to happen on around Games 4-6 or 7 if it will go to 7 games. TBH, Ginebra is trying to cut the lead, but the problem is that their offense is almost non-existent. Only 2 players got in double digits against 4 on the Dragons. They will be going back to the drawing boards and find an adjustment to their mistakes.

It's already tied so I guess the excitement is back again.

I'm hoping that we will have an exciting game 3, a close game would be fun to watch, and with that, the advantage will be on the Ginebra because of the points handicap they have.
