Your speculation is a good match up we all know that TNT can give a good matchup with San Miguel beermen. They have mikey willams, troy rosario, Castro and the rest of the team can contribute well. And also SMB Junemar Fajardo did not let meralco bolts can win the semi finals of these season for sure they will end this with victory and then the percentage of SMB vs TNT will be bigger.  But for now let's wait and watch the game 3 .

Maybe there's a player that will not play for Magnolia, I think here are the odds in the last two games.

game 1 TNT -3.5
Game 2 TNT -2.5

So this -6.5 really has some big reason behind, and that's what we should find out.

If you believe in fixed game, that line favored TNT, and they will likely cover that spread. However, who knows, maybe that's just a way to stir our mind and we think of backing the TNT and miss a good moneyline odds. They are not strong enough to win the game despite their size that is what saw. In fact, this is also happen to the other teams, a lot of factors that affect the result - teamwork and communication.

SMB cannot be counted, IMO, they are the favorite to win the championship because JMF is healthy. Also, they have good bigs that could substitute JMF if he wants a breather, so I think although they lose in game 2, they are still favored to win.

Anyways, let's look at the spread of game 3 between Magnolia and TNT, the spread looks suspicious IMO.

TNT -6.5 vs Magnolia, isn't it?

The game 2 with Meralco vs SMB is something that you see the eagerness of Meralco to win on this series, they prove to be good as well and can really beat a great team like SMB. I want to see Meralco vs TNT in the finals, just for a change but its looks like SMB will not let this thing to happen easily, well its ok because who ever wins we can still expect an intense game. I'm rooting for TNT and SMB in game 3, have some bet already.

Meralco showing big adjustment in Game 2 is impressive. They maintain to take care of their lead the entire game and manage to limit all SMB key scorers. Now that Meralco has already tested that SMB is not that unstoppable, that will leads them to fuel their good performance next game. They just created their own confidence because of that Game 2 win.

Magnolia also shows big adjustment too but to the point that they weren't able to take care their 20-points big lead, that should give them a lesson that TNT is something that they shouldn't feel comfortable even with a big lead. TNT can even steal that game.

Still, my speculation will be TNT vs SMB in the Finals.

I will go for 2,000 SMB to win the championship.

It would be nice if the amount will increase as I could go as high as Php7000, so the total bet for the team will be Php10,000.

I go with  you, with that lost I'm sure a good adjustments  will be done, coach Leo will review both offensive  and defensive  systems  that they've  used and see what  are the mistake, knowing  coach Leo, it will be different  twist  to make sure that Bolts will be surprised  with how they will attack  the basket and how they will play the defense.

Handicap is exciting since Meralco managed  to bounce back and beat SMB the same way they've  been beaten last game 1.

This is the time that JMF will have to work harder so they will get the lead in the series, it's now tied, they look bad in the last game compared to the TNT who have a big run and almost beat the Magnolia. I like the SMB to win the game 3 so I'll be backing them whatever the spread is.

Both series were tied now, the adjustments that being made by both Meralco and Magnolia manage to bring them a win, for sure the next game will be more interesting since both the dominating teams will take the challenges, it will be adding more pressure for both SMB and TNT and knowing the mentalities of both coaches, the pride will be the big factor in winning game 3.

Both Meralco Bolts and Magnolia Hotshots were able to adjust on Game 2 and give their respective opponent a big and large lead.

Meralco seems on their bounce-back aggressive mode since right at the start of the game, they are doing force and hard offense on every of their possession and doing pressure defense on SMB, especially against JuneMar Fajardo. They maybe found a way to limit the Kraken here in Game 2 but there are lots of games left on this series. Not all the time can put pressure on JMF but I know they are already aware of that.

But on Magnolia's win and even if they are in a large lead, TNT didn't give up and almost steal the game. They should expect TNT to bounce back next game as these teams feels they should have won it but mistakes happened.

Yes, bro. That was really the plan and I'm even glad that both series are now even to give an equal chance for those hesitant to place a bet for Magnolia and Meralco. Come on, guys! Please join the fun.

The cut-off time for placing bets is 5 minutes (4:25 PM) before Game 3 starts on Sunday, August 7, 4:30 PM, PH time.

Magnolia almost choked on that game. I even thought they will have full control of the entire game as TNT is struggling to make a rally. But TNT becomes beast mode and do their best to cut the lead until the last minutes. Lots of opportunities to steal the game. Fortunately, Magnolia was able to hang on and sealed the win. TNT is really a big deal and teams don't need to be comfortable having a big lead over them as they can explode anytime.

A good game but if Magnolia will let TNT again give that opportunity, they will have a big problem.

Surprising result too as the Meralco Bolts upset the San Miguel Beermen in the first game. Feel hesitant to bet on their +5.5 because of their Game 1 results but had no regrets as we didn't know what will happen in the first place. As they said, face the risks with no hesitation.

You can list me down, 1K for SMB.

Since both series are tied at 1-1, maybe you can still extend the cut-off time til the next game. Perhaps fans of Magnolia and Meralco want to throw some bets on them. They show good plays in their games earlier.


We will see. Meralco thrown all their big man to June Mar to the point that all of them are in foul trouble. We will see what adjustment they will make in the next game. I see this will be a close game from here on out.

Game 2 is for  Magnolia hotshots and Meralco bolts its nice to see that these two teams have an adjustments for their opponents in TNT and Magnolia sangalang and mark baroca did their best to win the game even though mikey Williams get some points in the last quarter and the lead is down to two but still baroca respond and then they win the match.
And for SmB and meralco bolts maybe SMB will take the game 3.

If only Roger Pogoy didn't step out of bounds, the outcome would have been different lol. Kidding aside, TNT has the experience and is not easily rattled in that kind of a situation and so with Magnolia, it's just a break of the game that Williams and Castro drained those 3's when needed the most but they run out of time. Congrats to all who have bet for the Bolts and the Hotshots.

Most of their bigs are into foul trouble because of defending Junemar but they manage to get the victory in Game 2.
They really made adjustments, and they are capable of defeating the SMB because in the 2 losses of SMB in the elimination, one of them came from Meralco and one from Ginebra, so you really know that they can do something to defeat the star-studded SMB team. Also the comeback of Coach Norman Black really boost up the morale of the whole team.

Basketball is a chess game, so I expected some adjustments with the Bolts, and it worked to them. Getting the pace from the start really helped them because they dictate the pace from the start of the game and that helped them to gain the lead at the first, though the SMB really made some huge runs and took the lead at some point in the 2nd half. Let's see how will the SMB respond and what are their adjustments in Game 3 on Sunday.

They almost lost the game if only Pogoy didn't step up the line in the final seconds of the game because after Kelly Williams' 3, the lead is only 2 and Pogoy managed to get a steal but unfortunately, he stepped on the line so overall, you know that if you are the Hotshots, you can't be overconfident even you have a huge lead because the TNT is also capable of make runs and make momentum shifts though they only came up short on this one and the game is tied with one a piece.

That was an exciting match indeed because TNT manage to make a comeback after having as much as 19-point deficit. For sure, the Hotshots became nervous when the TNT is coming and chipping out their double-digit lead . The Hotshots made an adjustment in defending Mikey Williams and it worked with them because he only scored I think only in single digits in the 1st half however, they didn't stop him completely especially in the 2nd half and still got 28 points. Let's also see how the TNT will respond in Game 3 but at least they know that they are capable of erasing huge leads already.

I didn't expect that Magnolia will almost loss this game, they allow TNT to have a good run, Williams with back to back 3 point shots and that made the game very close. Good thing Barroca was clutch, though he missed 1 of the 2 FT but they are already ahead and TNT can only bring the game to OT.

Great overall performance by Magnolia, Sanggalang and Barroca were the best contributers of this game.

From up to 19 points lead, the lead were down to only 2 points, it was really an entertaining game.

I was in the impression that Magnolia will pull away but look what is happening now, it's the last 2 minutes and the lead is only 4 points, William again doing the damage and after tha bad 1st half start he already got 28 points what the heck this star really bring to TNT, he's unbelievable, he's doing everything if they win this game it's a snatch that being let go by the Mags, anything can happen so better to watch till the last buzzer.

Magnolia is up again by double-digit, 79-65, I think game 2 is for Magnolia.

If this series will be over, then maybe those who are interested in betting locally can continue now.
Barroca played well tonight with 19 points, good bounce back after struggle in game 1.
