Didn't able to watch the game as busy outside the capital during the weekend but the frequent post of PBA on their official Facebook makes me updated with the scores and they also share some scenes of the live game.
I even thought also that SMB will take the Game 1 lead when I see the score in the half. Surprised a bit when they got the lead after the 3rd.
Watching right now the Game 1 highlights to see how the game went through especially that controversial clutch shot by Jayson Castro that seals the win. Anyway, the result can't be changed. As long as we see a close game like that where refs are not ruining the game, at least, it's more entertaining to watch.
I thought at the first half, I have that speculation that it will be the game for SMB as they're leading the scores not until TNT was able to pass and take the lead.
When the favors isn't on them, they'll tell reasons that they were cheated and it should be the game was rigged again. It's always like this just like before.

I think Castro was out in the first half when SMB had the big lead. When he is back in the second half, they were able to come back. That and the valiant effort of Pogoy put TNT in the lead and eventually win the game with Castro's winning shot.

SMB fans has really been too aggressive and often don't accept defeat. It would be better if they would know how to accept losing scenarios and apply sportsmanship to their bias. It's obvious that TNT have won on game 1 though it was a close fight and I don't think it was fixed. I guess SMB will own the 2nd game.
SMC is even more influential than MVP. If there's a fixed match, it will be supposed to favor the SMC teams.
These guys just don't accept the defeat. Besides, it's just Game 1 and there are lots of chances to bounce back. They control almost the entire game but TNT didn't give up and ended up winning.
If the game goes to Overtime, it's still not assurance that SMB will win.

Castro ruined a possible OT and that’s a great one for TNT to take the game 1. SMB for sure didn’t expect the result of this one, they have a good run in the first half but failed to sustain that momentum and the result is not good for them. Game 2 will be more challenging for TNT because for sure, SMB is so eager to bounce back and tie the series. It looks like this will be a long series, let’s find out.
It was a great first game for both teams, as expected the game was very close and intense, we can’t just call it a lucky shot from Castro because we know his true potential and with that shot, he was saying that he is still the same great Castro. I won in my first bet and now looking at some odds again and have to analyze the game 1 and see if in game 2, SMB can have a win as well. Congrats, I guess Castro is really that experience and willing to take those kind of shots. And it was the SMB of the previous series against the Bolts, seems to be dominating but need some push to close a game. So another buzzer beater and great escape by TNT. But then again, this is just the first game, and for sure, SMB will make the necessary adjustments in Game 2. I haven't check the odds yet, but if they are the underdog, I might go with them.

I was surprise since I check the game earlier and SMB really dominated the first half, I was in the impression that they will take game 1 and TNT will let it go and will try to bounce back next game 2 but it is not the thing that happened, TNT really rally back and snatch the game that huge turned around in the 3rd quarter TNT dominate SMB not sure what happened to SMB's offense they've got only 15 points against the 33 points of TNT.
Nothing can be said it was a classic Castro who takes that last shot and wins the game, though it was Poguy who really make huge damage to their offense, congrats TNT backers!

I thought it was still in his hand when the buzzer went off but I was wrong. Overall it was a good game. I was just disappointed at SMB wasting their huge lead again. They should learn to protect their lead.
Credit to Castro and Pugoy. They put everything to get back to the game when they are trailing double digits. I thought it would be an easy win for SMB but I just blinked and TNT is back in the game.

We have to commend the job of Chot Reyes on TNT, although has has a lot of criticism on handling the Gilas team, but we cannot deny that the TNT has became a championship team when Chot Reyes assume the job again. So this time, it's going to be a tough battle for him but he has all the weapon to win this series.
Yes, he is a successful coach in PBA. He has done well in coaching TNT. But his playstyle is not effective on the international stage which is why he is getting criticism from Gilas fans. We will see if he still is successful now that he is facing SMB. His greatest challenge in PBA is now with SMB.
