We have two games for today but i'm more interested in the second game.

Ginebra vs NLEX, i'm betting for Ginebra to win this game as a loss will put them in the bottom of the standings as they already have two losses. A little bit risky of a bet as NLEX had a moral boosting win over SMB last Saturday but i trust Brownlee to get the job done.

Ginebra -4.5 @1.82 vs Road Warriors

Adjusments might start here as Gin kings will take this one to avoid another dissapointment, losing third time might bring some hates from their avid fans, so there's a big need for coach Tim's squad to re-organize and start winning games.

Good luck Kabayan!

I was late in betting, and I would have bet on Ginebra as well because I knew they'd bounce back. Now, Ginebra already has a comfortable lead, but I thought, why not have some fun with the odds? So I bet on NLEX to win the game by 11 points or more. The odds were 30x, so it should give a huge return on my 200 pesos bet.

It seems that the most of the SMB companies are experiencing heavy losses. Well, to me this is a good sign that other teams especially the uncommon ones are winning against them. Maybe through this, the confidence of the fans will be back and they'll be able to have that urge again to watch the games not just because of the 4-point shots but with the likes of having the games be back at their likings.

I do hope that this trend will continue but it seems to me that this is only isolated event, i mean that it is only part of the game that one of the two teams will lose. SMB is planning to change their import after incurring two consecutive losses which means that they will be back on the winning once their new import comes in, i hope that the article i read is true. BTW, Terrafirma Dyip is on another losing streak now, Cstand and Stanley Pringle remain winless on their new team.
Yeah, looks like an isolated thing for the SMB teams. Well, the conference is still quite long and all of these losses will be able to recover by them. Losing is part of it and it's true that they will lose some but win more. They still no doubt the teams that are contender for PBA and that's as always.

It might a different look if we won't see them in the finals, not sure if when was the last time but most of the time one of those SMC team is the one who's playing for the finals, maybe adjustments will happen and we will see them start winning again, just like how Mags take thier last game winning against 0 win Terrafima.

Good point, though, because this import scored 50 points in one game, and his numbers are actually great. He just lacks the skills to finish games, especially when they’re close. Most of their losses have been in close games, so I think they’re looking for an import they can rely on to make a game-winning shot if necessary. Their introduction was already solid when JMF was a beast. I hope they stick with that strategy, so they remain unpredictable, as they have threats both inside and outside.

Exactly, with that type of game from JMF they should continue to feed him inside and rotate till he seen the open man, not sure but seems to me that something controls them, hahaha NLEX beats them in OT which I guess fans like me will be surprise, as they coming from a upset loss  with their sister company and expected that they'll be bouncing back strong, but that's how PBA works right? hahaha.. kidding aside, still early and still have chance to bounce back.

BTW, Terrafirma Dyip is on another losing streak now, Cstand and Stanley Pringle remain winless on their new team.

They need a more athletic and mature import. Their import is still young and can't match up well against the best imports in the league right now. SMB is a tough team, loaded with great local players, so getting a good import is crucial to maintaining their dominance. However, this could also be risky, as chemistry might become an issue. Hopefully, they'll be able to get a good import because, if I'm not mistaken, under the rules, a team can only change their import once.

In papers, SMB don't need to change their previous import I think they need to change the system that they are executing, there's no plays as everyone who touches the ball wanted to take charge, that's the problem most of the time if you got a compilations of superstars, most if not all wanted to take that shots and make a good offensive contributions.

Though if they think that they need a new import who can play the system that they are running someone who can be a 2-way player who also can blend and jive with how the team play the game.

That's unfortunate but we've got a lot of games to come except on Monday and for sure that you'll be able to get some of those losses back.
So, good luck with your next bets and hoping that you'll be able to cover your losses today from your next bets.

I didn't watch the game but I'm also surprise that SMB lose the game in OT, I was in the impression that they'll be bouncing back after that loss from Gin kings, PBA really tough to analyze just like what happened previously unexpected win from BW, beating Ginebra is something huge especially that the team who beated them is one of the well known farm team,.

What we are witnessing now is a massacre in progress.

DYIP, which has not won a game yet this conference, is struggling again. The first half is over, and they are down by 31 points against Magnolia. There's no way they'll come back against this strong team, so the bookies weren't wrong in giving them a +15.5 handicap before the game. Now, it seems like DYIP has become the worst team in the league, with most of their losses being blowouts.

The score is now 63-32.

We will never know but it's unlikely that they'll be able to beat them again. Let's see if BW did improved this season. Ginebra will face NLEX on Tuesday.
I’ll back Ginebra for sure. For today's game between SMB and NLEX, I lost my bet because I went with SMB, even though I managed to get them at only -1.5 during the half. But they lost to NLEX. The pregame spread was -8.5, and I tried to get a better spread, but it turns out NLEX had a great shooting night, so they beat SMB in OT. 2 straight losses for SMB already, next game I'm going big.

Unbelievable! Of all the teams, the struggling Blackwater beat Ginebra last night. How many of you lost your bets? I wasn’t able to bet last night, but if I had, I would have chosen Ginebra even with a high spread. It was a low-scoring game, which should have favored Ginebra, but what happened is just what happens every season when, early on, weak teams can beat a strong team.
I didn't bet for this game but sure it is unbelievable when a team like Blackwater miraculously beat teams like Ginebra.
Good to know that as you could be upset with the outcome.
That is for sure that I will be and it's also possible that many were after that game.

We thought amazing things only happen in the NBA—nope, they happen in the PBA as well. What’s even more amazing about the PBA now is that they’re almost always in action, with just one day of rest, so we can enjoy the games. Regarding that game, of course, it’s automatic that bettors would bet on Ginebra, especially since they were coming off a victory against SMB. But unfortunately, they lost to a "farm team," so it’s really unbelievable, but it happened. I was wondering what the moneyline odds were for Blackwater at that time.

However, it won't happen again for sure. Now, I’m looking forward to Ginebra’s next game because I’m confident they’ll bounce back strong after that disappointing performance.
I'm not sure they'll face again but if indeed they'll face, of course Ginebra would make sure upset will not happen as they are competing on the ranking and Ginebra now already have 2 losses.

Arvin Tolentino set himself a caree high points of 51 points. That's a lot so I guess with the implementation of the 4 point shot will make a lot of players set themselves up like 30-50 points per game. It became a headline and article for many sports media outlet recently.

Related to this I just saw a social media post regarding to those players who made a 50+ points this week, Adams,Brown Lee and the only local player was Tolentino and same with what you mentioned it's now easy for players to make that amount of productions with the help of that 4-points rules, shooters can take advantage of that long range shots, not by far that we can see more and more gunners to make that good offensive productions.
I hope that this line will develop more and will be applied to the players of our national team. The shooting caliber is going to be of a big help in international tournaments because of how used our players our in a long shots. While the fans don't really see the importance or difference of what it is bringing to the league, I am optimistic about the development through the players way of long shooting.

Arvin Tolentino seems to be an underrated player; he has really developed his skills with Northport and is now very consistent. I can see this player getting an opportunity to compete in a championship series. The farm teams are still DYIP and Blackwater, and they continue to perform at the same level. I'm quite surprised by teams like ROS and Northport, as they are playing great basketball this season. With a good import, I think they’ll be able to compete with the top teams in the PBA.

I can agree with the level of competitiveness of ROS but NP not sure if how far they can go, I mean by looking from all the previous games of ROS they are really performing so well though still far and there are still games that they'll need to win but as long as they are playing like this I guess it's impossible for them to reach the next round or potential contender for the finals, on my own take seems to me that coach Yeng might now harvesting what he plants it's been a long while seeing them in the finals, maybe this season would be a best timing for them if they manage to keep that top spot while in-line against heavy favorites Gin kings and SMB.

Rain or Shine secured another huge victory with a final score of 116-99 in the first game. They are now 3-0 in Pool B, with all their wins coming by double digits, including a victory over Ginebra. I think this team is going to be exciting to watch this season. I'm not entirely sure about the rules since there's already a Pool A and Pool B, but I'm guessing the winner of Pool A will face the winner of Pool B in the finals.

Meanwhile, the second game is already live, with Ginebra battling a desperate Blackwater team. Can Blackwater upset the Gin Kings?
