Sadly, there were three Omicron cases already. (https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1530218/pinoy-from-qatar-3rd-omicron-case)
But the good news, there were only 168 new cases and it keeps dropping and I think we'll see two-digit new cases and eventually go for one up to zero new cases. Whenever there's a Ginebra match, everyone is expecting the crowd and likely the tickets are going to be sold out, let's see by Christmas day. Money is flowing as usual by that day and the tickets are cheaper.
That's a just a bit of badnews, certainly there's still a lot of things that needs to be appreciated like this is the 1st Christmas season that we're having a minimal restriction since Covid outbreak on 2019. And also, we can watch some live scene plays on our favorite teams in PBA just like what is about to happen this Christmas as Araneta.
Ofcourse, it's the Ginebra San Miguel so it's expected that the tickets are going to be sold in just days after the tickets were released. Yea, prices are quite cheaper this time so we could really expect that it would be crowded in Araneta.
Yes, that's the Christmas gift that every PBA fan wants. And I've seen some of my friends that have already watched a live game, they're not really full but at least, they've opened it to the public.
Well, if I've just got the free time to get there, I'll be watching with anyone who wants to watch but no way, this holiday season is always the busiest time for me.
If you can spend some time, do it mate, working all the time is not good for your health, lol. As for me, I always love to watch the game live but I couldn't, I just had to watch live streaming and put some little bet on the team that I like to win, that way, I'm already happy and quite satisfied.

Had anyone here won their bet last night?

You're welcome, try to clear the cache of your browser. Maybe that would solve the problem that you're encountering. The game of Ginebra is on Christmas day.
And I think the whole Araneta coliseum is going to be full as they're against the Magnolia. Good old days are coming back again to PBA with the help of PBA fans and other people who share the same interest on that Christmas day.

I am expecting that. Philippines has no single case of the Omicron virus yet so we can still enjoy roaming around with minimum restriction since the government is happy with the decreasing number of cases per day. This is the time to enjoy, a game between these two teams is really worth watching and since they are back in the arena where it can accommodate a lot of fans, so we might probably see a sold out crowd.

Well, it's too early to see the infection of Omicron but if the government maintains and stabilizes it, as said by experts, likely we see the balloon popping by February 2022.
But about the upcoming match, we don't have to worry about the seating capacity. They're going to be on it and there's no problem about those seats.
As long as they don't make a test from time to time, the number will not increase so fast.

We don't know if there are people who are already infected on this virus, but the way I see it, looks like the government are helping the economy to recover and they won't put another restriction that will make the economy suffer especially in the holiday season.
Well, the test is a requirement but for the audience to get into the coliseum. I think the main requirement is just the vaccine card and they're good to go. There's no test needed. About the new variant, let's just let the government do their task for that. While us, we're just here and enjoying the upcoming games of PBA. That's all what matters to us for the meantime since Christmas day match is approaching.

Yup, if you have vaccine card you are good at going, you can watch the game and enjoy. For now, we should think positively and
hope that the government will do their job in preventing the spread. Boosters are available now and people should take this
opportunities to take it, we should learn from the past mistake.

Enjoy the all available games for now, even you can't watch live, you can still bet online.. Grin Roll Eyes

The government needs to try everything in terms of the economy. They will not do anything or add any restrictions from what we are seeing right now.

People need money during this holiday and with those open establishments it's happening now. Little by little, it will move and rise back.

In terms of PBA, if there's no additional restrictions maybe we will see more fans that will watch the games.

We got 2 games tonight.

The first one is the Blackwater Bossing against the Alaska Aces. Well as we are expected, the Blackwater is still on a losing streak after losing this game by 23 points. At least the team is consistent in losing don't they Cheesy. Their import Jalen Bond scored only 2 points which is for an import, a very low and TBH I don't know if I'm the only one who got this feeling but it seems that the Bossing are in a road to another 0-11 record this conference :X. I hope it will not happen.

The second game is TNT Tropang Giga and Meralco Bolts. Meralco got this victory 83-80 with Tony Bishop having 36 points and 17 rebounds. Meralco now is 2-0 while TNT is 1-2. I don't know but it seems like Moore isn't playing the way imports are used to be. I mean he isn't scoring that much. In his 3 games, he only scored around 7 points on average. Do you really think that Moore is the perfect import for the team or they must find another one.

If this new Omicron cases will steady there's a chance that the match between Genebra and Magnolia fulfill the new setting capacity in araneta coliseum but if this cases will grow and grow for sure some fans of both teams are preferred to watch the match on television rather than they take a risk. But we can not hide ta truth that some fans of both teams will make a way in order to see the match on araneta.

I'm checking now the boxscore but my connection is still unstable that I could not load the data from the site. I like to see the contribution of Justin Brownlee, his total points is the most important, anyone here knows?
The data says 31 pts, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. While his playing time is 48:47. Games on 22 will be Blackwater versus Alaska Aces, well, I guess everyone's going to be easy on this and will bet for Aces. While for the next match, it will be TnT and Meralco bolts.
Now, I'm interested where people are going to place their bets for the second match.
Thank you for that mate, actually until now I still cannot load that particular data. I like his contribution to the team, he could have made a triple double if he tried to do stat padding. On the next game, I think we should not change our hearts, go with Ginebra as they'll continue winning for sure.

Manila Clasico will explode the Araneta Coliseum. PBA really put that game on Christmas Day. I'm expecting a full capacity allowed on the venue as it's been years since they watch the classic game live at the venue. The ticket cost is also cheap. Great timing for those who want to watch. If only I'm not busy on that day, I might take a shot watching live. The venue is easy to access to my location.
Full capacity? Nah mate, I wish that would happen especially these days. I bet that the IATF has already sat with the commissioner and the promoters about the allocated capacity in Araneta this Christmas. The league has only released and allocated 4,000 individual tickets to the fully vaccinated audience and fans who wishes to watch the game. 4,000 only out of 16,000 seating capacity of Smart Araneta Coliseum. Surely the tickets are already sold out not because it's cheap but due to the team who will play, it's Ginebra vs Magnolia.

Brownlee and McDaniels are good contributors in their team and I think if NLEX and GENEBRA will cross in the payoff is a good choice cause they are the same undefeated in their previous games.
Competing for the two imports sounds crazy cause they are doing great but McDaniels ahead a little bit to brownlee cause the NLEX has most game than genebra and I think there's an advantage if we decide now but if they are in equal Games and they will face the playoffs that time we can choose  who is the best but for now McD is ahead a little bit.

Both Imports have that high chance of winning the title, if the team continues to play like this and they managed to advance to the next round.

It's a tough individual choice but in my opinion, Brownlee has the edge if both will make it to the finals, just saying my own opinion though

no offense to NLEX fans and to those who have other imports in their mind.

For now, let's continue enjoying their performances and the performances of the team as a whole..

So will JB still wins the best import award this time?
It will depend on the standings of the teams and the impact of the import within the team.
Right now, its KJ McDaniels who has the largest impact with the team as an import. They are still undefeated after the end of Week 2 with 4-0.

I'm not saying though that Brownlee can't win it but I think we will see how it will goes as the future games pass by. If NLEX continues with how they are playing right now and managed to get the top spot then I think that KJ has a higher chance to win it.

The only reason why NLEX is on the top is because they have played more games than the Ginebra Kings, and if you look at the record, both of them has not experience a defeat yet this conference but eventually one of them will as they will surely meet in the days to come.

I wish the PBA website will provide a more specific stats to determine who is the top performer import now and how his performance hs impact to the team.

Well, I think lets just watch on our TV's and cheer for the team we want to win. With this match-up, I'll go with Ginebra Cheesy.

On the other hand, the BlackWater will face the Alaska Aces tomorrow. Do you think that their losing streak will continue or it will end tomorrow? Smiley.

Why not? If he can bring the same intensity the last time he won the best import award, I would not doubt his chance this time. Though they are not the number 1 team right now the conference is still a few games away before the elimination and that's where the real challenge start, and in that situation, we will know who is the best import.

I agree with you. Justin Brownlee currently has good stats.

But that will be a tough competition against KJ McDaniels that also a monster in producing stats. I like to see them playing with NLEX. It's a good match between Brownlee and McDaniels.

Can't wait to watch their face-off. More people like to witness that.
