I don't know if many will agree with me but I think TNT has all the tools in stopping SMB. They can defend SMB's shooters well and they are one of the best defensive teams this conference. At the same time, they can stop Fajardo and Tautuaa too when SMB will rely on inside points. The bigs of TNT is strong enough to defend these 2 bigs of SMB. I'm an SMB fan but right now, it seems that they are having a hard time defeating this TNT team.
They have the tools on beating not just SMB but all teams in the league. SMB just becomes a favorite because of their playoffs winning history and have that "never say die" motto 2nd to BGSM but people are not realizing that SMB is not the strong team before even they have the best point guards in the league in the name of Terrence Romeo and CJ Perez.

Fajardo is supposed to dominate, but he is not dominating now so he is not a big threat anymore, he is not fast yet and the TNT bigs can easily double him. John Paul Erram has been consistently scoring against Fajardo, I think he had an average of 20 points in the last 2 games, which shows that the defense of Fajardo is weak and he is now a liability to the team. Coach Chot as a veteran and reputable coach is one of the reasons why TNT is strong. His presence on the bench makes his players motivated that they need to contribute more as they are handled by the former Gilas coach for a long. There are 2 scenarios with this.1. JMF has came back from a serious injury that he had years ago. There is this thing on his mind that "what if it will happen again" thing that might affect his performance. I already said this just before this conference happens.

.Here we go again, looks like I already see this scenario where TNT leads in the 1st half but they will allow SMB to roar back in the 2nd half. So far, TNT has a good double-digit lead but the result is always unpredictable because we can't conclude yet that SMB will not come back anymore.
Looks like what you've predicted didn't happen. TNT managed to get the lead at the start of the first quarter and they didn't look back ever since.
The main reason why SMB is in a huge deficit is their turnovers. They have 20+ turnovers as of this moment and it kills them so bad. On the other hand, TNT is capitalizing their turnovers scoring 29 points from it. One thing more is Fajardo. He scored just 14 as of now since the game isn't over still and there is no help coming from others aside from Romeo who scored 22 unlike from TNT who has all 5 starters in double figures. The points are just distributed in TNT. 2-1 in favor of TNT.

This time SMB was not able to pull a big come back, the defense of TNT was perfect, they put pressure on the SMB and they move faster so JMF was less effective here. SMB coach has to make a game plan in game 4, they should not allow TNT to dominate them, as much as possible, they have to make the gap close or take the lead in the early minutes of the game.
Great game also by Mikey Williams here, he struggles in game 1 and 2 but he found himself here in game 3.
