That's interesting, for sure not many will do that knowing how good TNT is, but shit happens and those avid fan of SMB might take handicap during the live games, I failed to watch the game as I'm busy with my day job, bisdak unexpectedly win his martingale! Grin

The line move up to -2.5 an hour before the game, those who take that spread lose their bet but if they also take a live bet when SMB is down, they for sure end up the night with a profit. SMB is really good, though they struggle but they always make things possible and thanks to Romeo's good performance, he is now back and fully healed.

Well, in the next game exactly the same happened. TNT going into the last quarter with a 11 point lead and then win by only one (could have lost easy at SM had last possession?. Anyway, handicap got covered by SM, Rigged as fuck this league.

What a game I must say.
Terrence Romeo after scoring just 8 points at Game 1, carried his team and lead the offense in the 4th quarter ending up with 26 points.
But the game winner shot by Super Marcio!!!! Cheesy

TNT had the lead as high as 19 points and they entered the 4th quarter with a 17 point lead 82-67 but Romeo singlehandedly chip away some points until they cut down the lead to a single figure and continued all throughout the final quarter getting the victory. Those who are offline in Game 1 stepped up like Romeo and Fajardo. What a game Cheesy

Martingale's strategy is that what they call this style of betting? The good thing about this series now is that the spread is not too high and the probability of the SMB not being swept is too high so betting for them really is the way to go if you analyze the situation, much more if you are a fan of the Beermen.

Markets/odds for the Magnolia vs Meralco game are out too, seems to me that odds are persuading me in betting for the SMC teams so Magnolia -2.5 @1.90 for the second game.

Fixed game does not always mean they will make it a close game or a long series, it depends on the game plan they are doing as at the end of the day, they will always make money. No income from fans now since this is in a bubble set up, but if indeed fixed games do exist, they can make a lot of money in gamblng.

Very possible, if PBA will make money fixed might be discuss behind the doors,

we all knows that it's business and this two rivals companies can talk and see if how they'll be able to make this series as profitable as it can be,

I know that SMB will make an adjustments with this lose and lets take note that they lose even without Williams on TNT and there are also times that Fajardo and Mo are on the court at the same time. TNT has good players and a very experienced coach and defeating them will be hard.

I don't think TNT is known for their defense, they are not good in defense in the past, it's just this season that they have improve because coach Chot is back and he has a great conference with only 1 lose, and that's the proof that he is really good.

Anyways, the series is too far from over, it's just game 1 and we still have more games for sure.

The good thing about that game one for TNT was that they were able to win that one even with the absence of their middle protector, Kelly Williams. He was out due to health and safety protocols and not because of injury so we can expect him to play sooner if he clears the required time for quarantine which could TNT more competitive as Poy Erram and Dave Marcelo would not be enough to contain Junemar and Mo.

Odds are already out for the first game tomorrow but not for the second game, SMB is still the slight favorite as usual.

Though they are not in a double digit point but so far the stars are playing decently, if you noticed them having longer time inside or longer minutes of playing, they are not getting any younger and those minutes that coach Leo gave them is not an easy task. Grin

But I agree, they need to focus with defense, the trio of Williams, Castro and Pogoy will really hurt them if the defense from stars will not be executed properly.

They needed to mach it up plus the intensity of creating good plays and be more aggressive this coming game 2. Good Luck! Cool

There is no problem guys. The lead is just one point. Both teams are equally fair on Game 1. Lack of contribution? We can say that too for TNT. Check the stats and you will know what I mean. If everyone explodes, the result is still close. SMB fans should not just watch and take that loss as SMB has a problem. See the whole game stats and you will noticed TNT too is the same.

Don't expect much from Terrence Romeo. The guy just came from hurting his hurting Achilles just last month. It's an injury that will not heal just within a month. Even with that, he was still able to play to around 20 minutes on that game. About Cabagnot and Ross, they are off-night. That means the Ka-tropa is doing a good job to contain some of SMB's key players.

But honestly, TNT is not in a good shooting percentage too compare to their usual. I consider them having an off-night too. It's just that they got the last laugh sealing that Game 1 win on their series.
