Hahaha in my opinion, it was a clear loss. Even though I'm a solid kabaranggay, I believe that there's no under the table negotiations happened. It's just a bad night for them and Meralco did a great job, that's it.

Just noticed that BGSM become less aggressive even there is much time left to make a rally.

Look, Ginebra holds the lead as large as 10 points the whole time and able to maintain it until Meralco makes a rally on the 3rd. It's just that in the last minutes of 3rd wherein Meralco takes the lead and they start the 4th with a 4 point lead.

And that's the start, Meralco now draining consecutive shots. They able to take a 10 point lead and Cone makes a timeout. After that timeout, Japeth was now seen on the bench and never gets back. And slowly, the main lineup was sent to the bench one by one. It's just a 10 point lead and with plenty of time left, around 5 minutes, Cone decided right away to break their main lineup and let the bench do the work.

No rigged but just noticed BGSM does an early give-up.

Thanks to Ray Parks, he was out in the game for 6 personal fouls and that's where the Phoenix started to control the game. I have a feeling that this series will reach in game 5, and hopefully we will see a healthy Wright in the succeeding games.

And what a win by Phoenix. They blew their large lead but good thing they able to play under pressure and focus until the buzzer sound. TNT did a good rally on narrowing down the lead and even able to take the lead. Phoenix will surely be criticized if they lose that game after having the lead for long. Even without Wright, others stepped up just what they did on Game 1. Expecting a close game again with these 2 teams on Game 3.

What a win by Phoenix, I thought they choked but thanks to the effort of Abueva on that game. Abueva's numbers were awesome, 20 points and 15 rebounds were not hard to notice but what really matters is his hassle play and that is the true value of the beast to Phoenix.

Don't forget on his steals and assists, the beast is a complete monster in this game despite Wright only played with limited minutes. The effort of the Phoenix to win this game is applaudable and we now see the real reason why fans would like Abueva to come back and this is it, suddenly, the Phoenix Fuel Masters has become a championship contender team.

Indeed, the longer the series the better as it's adding spice with the excitement that you'll feel Now the series are tied and with the past rivalries of this two franchise, it's good enough to see them trying to chased each other.
Adjustments being made by Bolts works well as they've change the combo they've got good ball movement and they are really fighting for the ball.

They've got this one, they've fought well and really making things possible, series are equal same thing with BGSM and Bolts, really getting more exciting.

Yes, this is only a best of 5 series, if it ends in 3, it would be boring.
What happen to pringle? It seems like he is not the same guy we saw in the last few games.

Congratulations @Vaculin , you had a profit in the first game, it was an opposite of game 1, Meralco had their own dominant win and the total score was only 172 after a high scoring 1st half.

Thanks bro, that was a good win though it was a thrilling one until the last seconds of the game if my total would hit, and it did.

Not really excited in this game after seeing the game 1, but I'm hoping the magic will work in this game and the series will be tied.

Well, they are still healthy now since you said Matthew Wright will play, without him TNT is having a hard time defeating his team already, so what more if he will play in game 2 where Phoenix really need a win here. It's good to back them in a game where they badly need a win, a win will make them tie the series, a lose will make them in the hole of elimination.

You are right. And take note, Japeth Aguilar's production in Game 1 is not his usual average. What if he plays at his best.

And Meralco seems to really have a bad offensive night. Not just because of BGSM's good defense but there are times their shots are not really getting in even for uncontested shots.

Meralco Bolts do have the same Moneyline odds for Game 2. A good shot for Meralco fans as adjustments might be made.

For bettors, health status is really important so even Wright will play but with consideration, then it's risky to bet for them.

But I agree, some Phoenix players adjust on that game. Not just Wright's minor injury but Abueva was even in early foul trouble but they managed to get the game close. Playing without a problem, they really have a chance to send TNT home in this series. But of course, they just need to be consistent in every game, not just in Game 1, as TNT's performance is always consistent.
