I am sure the owners or the organization in any sports and in any part of the world already understands that if they will wait for the vaccine, they will loss their business, so its expected that they are already planning now on how to put a certain measures that will make players safe and people involve when they will resume the game.

TBH, I thought that there is no chance for it to happen, only the vaccine will keep the sports to resume but it's not realistic if we will wait years for them to resume, and just like other countries are doing, they are still resuming the sports despite of the covid-19 threat.

For sure it will that's why we cannot see any games running right now and if they insist to continue this still the president will not allow since he know how dangerous this plan is, We know our president will not let any gatherings to happen so we should really expect anything back to normal once this vaccine will became available.

There are potential came out already and I think we are near to have a cure and provably we will have that in next following months.

I think possibilities to continue the season is indeed but of course for live streaming only and for the audience?limiting to 1/3 of the capacity can prevent the spreading of virus.

So basically this can be done but of course with assurance to the public that administration will assure the safety and health of players and fans.

Lets accept that having a management system every event can be done.

UFC is just like boxing right, maybe Philippines can follow this if they really want to still make money despite of the pandemic, and maybe it would be better if they will do it for a cause, we have a lot of Islands in the Philippines, if they will try it, then we might see it happening, this is just for the boxing, but I have doubt on basketball event.

What we are talking here is a basketball game, it's easy to move few number of people than the teams in the NBA, and in UFC or boxing, they only have to fight once for the belt or whatsoever, but in basketball there will be ranking and elimination then the Finals. I think we should just wait on the action of the NBA if they'll resume or not, then we can follow their system.

I could bet with you guys, I am confident that the organization will cancel the season, they have to reason to continue this when the number of cases in the Philippines has been increasing consistently. As of now, the total number of cases already exceed 10,000, that's already alarming because despite of the measures the government has impose, we were not able to control the spread.

Indeed, the gap between the new cases over the recoveries is still far. That's why I'm not yet convinced that we are now flattening the curve. If you heard from the news, few areas in the Metro are now conducting a 1 week hard lockdown due to the increasing number of cases despite of the ECQ. Plus, mayors are discussing about the possible extension of the quarantine up to June 15.

See? There's no way for PBA to resume the games unless they've got a private island with appropriate facilities like UFC Grin

If they will do it outside Manila, I can't think of a City that would be suitable for the NBA, and that is going to be too expensive since they will also have to find a place to stay, they will bring their family and these players will also have to train or practice.

That being expensive is already given, only if they want to push it.

Plus, since they will not occupy Smart Araneta or MOA or any common event place here, they can use funds allocated here to rent other venues.

Well, that option of holding PBA outside Manila isn't just about gatherings. They can do it without the audience only if they are eager to push it despite no profit.

But since PBA is business, then they must not be thinking of resuming PBA this year. Wait for next year instead. During the healthy times, they can't able to sold tickets even at Finals unless the team will play is Ginebra so if ever we get back to new normal after, expect that their ticket sales will be much worst.

That would take time, PBA sees the possibility that it will not happen soon so they could possibly just cancel the season.
Vaccine might be out later this year or probably next year, that's something we don't know but the process is really long to reproduce it.
