Odds update few minutes before the Game 5 starts;
Quite good odds for Meralco Bolts but for this game 5, I'll skip betting first just what I did on Game 4. Since I am for Meralco Bolts for this championship. After watching Raymond Almazan his plays on Game 4 after his injury, he still having a hard time on Game 4, but for sure he already ready for tonight's game and did some practice after their loss on game 4 without any injury feeling anymore.
Game 6 would be more much exciting if ever Meralco Bolts will win tonight. Good luck to all  Cheesy

...and that's very unusual to witnessed in every Finals.

I agree it's unusual even for a different company that is playing in the finals but I do believe that if ever Meralco will win Game 5 later, it's not fixed nor Ginebra just lielow on that game.

You can tell if there's something wrong with the way they will play. We will see that later afternoon if there's a noticeable and suspicious play.
If we have doubts, we can watch and just bet through live betting.

But advance congratulation on Ginebra bettors, the 2019 Governors Cup Champion.

Thanks,, but  actually my winning in the series is very small compared to what I lose betting per game.  Grin

i have a feeling  that Ginebra will End this Championship in game 5 as they will not give Meralco a chance to get closer, they are only 1 win apart from the Trophy so why not take it fast than risk for game 6.and also Almazan did not give his best in game 4 things that fans waiting for him to give MEralco a good fight in this conference.
It seems that will be the case here I have a hunch that Almazan just forced his injury just to play the last game. The momentum is really now for the Kings and I'm confident that they are unstoppable on that, the experience of their team has a lot more than on the Bolts side plus with the winningest coach in the PBA on their side.
Part of the advantages are experienced and the tightness of this team being handled by the same coach who manage to bring good bonds with the
players, if the same game play and defense meralco showed this coming game 5, if they won't adjust and try to keep Brownlee to receive the ball and penetrate this series will ended much early. Meralco needs to change a lots from defense to their offense all players needs to step up.

[snip]

If we think the game will be fix and that is our main reason betting on the Meralco, I think that is a wrong decision.
For sure, people were thinking the same in game 4 but fix did not happen, in fact the game was not even a close one, so it could be the same scenario.
Well, you've got a good point as well Smiley. I understand that you think that way since this is a battle of two different companies: MVP and SMB Corp. But my gut feel really says that Game 5 is for Bolts hahaha. Imagine this, the series may seem so boring, fast and not challenging if it will end very soon —  and that's very unusual to witnessed in every Finals. Nevertheless, it's fine with me if GSM will finally make a conclusion because I'm a Ginebra fan too Grin.

Experience wise, Ginebra kings have the advantage because their starters have already won championships except for Stanley Pringle who's playing his first finals appearance. Tenorio, Thompson, Aguilar, pringle and Brownlee are all defensive player, and the addition of pringle in the team really give them some boost in offense, so it's an improved Kings compared to their last finals appearances.

Line is already up for game 5.. anyone here thinking of betting on the Kings to win, they should start doing it now.

Ginebra open up at -3.5 and I think that's winnable since the last two games, Ginebra won by 5 points or more.

Good luck!
having still second thoughts because i am sure Meralco Bolts will do their very best and do whatever it  takes just to win this game or else Kings will be the champion as the 3-1 standing favors the Ginebra.

but i will decide later tonight if i would go to Kings or to try my chance for the Bolts since these 2 wasn't my Team in PBA.

If you are betting for Ginebra, you have to decide as fast as you can because for sure the line would go up.
Meralco is facing elimination here and they are battling a team that is favorites to win in the series, it makes sense that Ginebra will finish this, unless the fix is in.
im unto it mate but there is a part of me that saying Bolts has a chance,i have this trouble in decision making because none of this team are mine so i only battle for money but not for the team, and this is different if my Team is in finals because surely even if they are underdog still will bet for them(San Miguel Beer)

It's tough to assess as we knew that Meralco is a good team and can bounce back, they will surely try to extend this series to keep
their chance and continue their chase to win the title.

Also considering that if there's game 6 to happen it will be played in the biggest arena, that's a huge profits for PBA for sure.
you got what i mean here, because i also knew that Meralco has a opportunity they only need momentum and Booster.

anyway i may consider betting offline if not made to decide for the Line because there are many bettors around here that favored for Ginebra Kings.

[...] it makes sense that Ginebra will finish this, unless the fix is in.
Indeed. I have a strong gut feeling and very confident that they can already close this conference in Game 5 because their strategy is very effective. Durham is pressured and 3 point shooting of Ginebra is also on fire. However, I still can't get rid of my mind the tendency of game fixing (like what you've said) despite of not being a sister company. You know what I mean, PBA is a big business after all Grin.

So in my opinion, placing your bet in Meralco in their next match is not bad to put into your consideration. It's very understandable Cheesy. Good luck guys.

I think I would not try to gamble on the Bolts here, let's bet on the team that have played consistent well in the last 2 games and that's Ginebra.

Ginebra are going for a kill, it looks like no Philippine Arena happening in this series.

The series will likely end early as Meralco has no answer in the last 2 games, only game 1 and game 2 they are competitive but they got fully dominated by the kings in game 4. It's a close out game and Ginebra are good at this, and in history, there's a little chance for a team to comeback when they are down 3-1 in the series.

I think Maliksi is too short to go toe-to-toe against the tall men of Ginebra but he should be contributing on the offensive end of the court. Sadly, as you said he ain't producing much. Let's see if that will change in the next game.

No next time for him, lol.. they need the usual star to step up, Maliksi might contribute a bit but he is not the main point of attack.
the usual contributor which is Durham, Newsome, and Almazan has to score 20 points or more because their teammates are not good scorers, they will take care of the offense and let the others do the defense and stop or minimize the production of stanley.

Almazan's production was ok, it's the three point shooting that is abandoning the Bolts. They are are shooting just above 10 percent on that area. They are small compare to the squad of Ginebra so they should improve the percentage on 3's if they want to extend this series to game 7.

He is still obviously hurt. He does not have the intensity he shown in the last three games. His intensity and defense create offensive opportunities for his teammates.

Maliksi has not really have contributed this series, he should be a factor since he got the height to defend the wing men of the Kings.

Exactly, that's sad for the Meralco Bolts. Almazan still has some fatigue factors during Game 4.
Speaking of the 3 points shooting, here's the comparison; 31% for Baranggay Ginebra and 11% only for Meralco Bolts. That's quite disappointed for Meralco Bolts, they have a lot of misses on three points but their rebounds are almost the same, they lack 3 pointers, Maliksi should able to do that but not lucky though. If Jackson or Salva will be in, their defense will be lack, but offensive for sure is kinda strong.
