Still have the chance to grab the final 4 seat they need to focus and clean this up, for those other players they need to adjust and forget about this fight and keep playing with their best.

Even if they will win in their last game, there is no chance that they will be in the top 4 because they will just tie the Ginebra San Miguel and based on the rules which is the win over the other, Ginebra will take the top 4 spot as they beat the San Miguel last October 13, 2019.

This is the latest standings bro,

3. TNT Katropa 7-3
4. Ginebra 7-4
5. San Miguel 6-4

Tomorrow, SMB vs TNT will be played on the Ynarez Center, this would be their last game respectively. If TNT wins, they will take the 3rd place while if they lose, things would be complicated by then. Quotient system would be in effect for these 3 teams. SMB needs to beat TNT by x points for them to be in the twice to beat advantage spot. How much is that x, still unknown for me.

So it could mean that Wells will not anymore play in the remaining games?

This is remain to be seen as SMB is mum on this issue. Personally, i like Wells to be deported lol, just kidding, don't like imports who got attitude problem, they are always a problem to their teams, seen that regularly in the PBA.

I like to their spot now, SMB needs to win so we will see a great playoffs which Ginebra needs to lose twice for SMB to advance and I think this is a hard test for them as Ginebra will do everything to stay in the playoffs.

Another bad news on the PBA, specially to the SMB fans here. This may affect their campaign for a grand slam this season, hope they will iron things out before it's too late.

This makes them less prepare, this incident needs to solve as quick as they can. The management of SMB should implement the solution in order for the entire team not being affected and continue seeking for the win.

The battle will be among the Alaska, Rain or Shine,  and Columbian DYIP, but if the Alaska will win in their last game, it would be the Columbian DYIP and ROS that are going to play again, I guess.

Have heard the news on TV that even if Alaska Aces would lose it's final game, still ROS would be eliminated because of the quotient system.

its no bearing for Alaska then but with their ranking in the last spot, I think this is a good rank since they will be facing the NLEX in the playoffs which I think they have a chance compared to facing the Meralco Bolts, its a twice to beat disadvantage to them but Alaska has good playoff experience compared to NLEX.

That's how the league goes, the current bottom four teams are surely to be eliminated.

I can't find the exact rules but what I heard from the commentators is that, when there is a tie in the number 8 spot, the teams will have to play and whoever wins will get the last spot.

The win over the other might also apply in this conference, so if there's a tie in the upper rank and if the team win over the other, they will take the higher spot.

Since they have played the max 11 games they have no chance to climb up the standings. I think if the league will not change its ruling with regards to trading players, this current bottom four will not be able to rank up in their standings even in the upcoming conferences.

Standing updates:

Correct me if I'm wrong, the bottom 4 teams of the conference will be elimanated right? And top 4 teams will having be the advantage of twice to beat?
And bottom 4 teams has already their max games which is total 11 games and I think the current 4 bottom teams now has no more chance to get in playoffs.

Yesterday games was really amazing and exciting especially the game of RainOrShine against Meralco Bolts, a sweet comeback.

Betting odds are hotshots +4.5 / TNT -4.5 ( my pick here is hotshots +4.5 because they need this win to stay in the playoff race).

Good job, that was an easy win by the Magnolia, you should have bet on the ML as well. TNT already in their 3 losing streak I guess.

About the games today, the first game was a close game, that steal by Nambatac made the difference and ROS beat the streaking Meralco to have their chance in the playoff race.

2nd game is going to be a good game also, its between the North Port and the Ginebra, in this game I'm putting my bet on the Ginebra.
Nambatac lifted the RoS the last few minutes of the 4th quarter, it's almost an overtime if only Almazan make that last shot but the good defense
break it up and not to allow the overtime to happen. Congrats to those who pick and bet both with handicap and ML for RoS it's a good win for them
giving some light to still move forward to the second round.

If that goes to OT, my under bet would have lost,.. actually I made a parlay betting on ROS under, and Ginebra Over, but unfortunately it was the game for the underdog so I lose one of my parlay and everything is loss.

The 2nd game was also a very intense game, it was a close game with some lead changes from both teams, however in the end its the Northport that came out as a winner, C Stand give a big contribution on that win and of course their import.

Hope Taulava, Hugnatan and those 38+ guys would follow this good example by Kramer  Smiley.
They only played very limited minutes already especially Taulava but TBH, I don't want Hugnatan to retire yet as he is a big asset on his team.
His very stable 3 point shooting and some clever plays in the floor it could help the team in playoffs time, and if you still remember, in the last years, he was very valuable to his team especially during the Meralco vs Ginebra San Miguel finals, I just can't remember the year.
I still remember that time, and actually there are a lot of PBA players that doesn't want to retire as they are still enjoying their life in the PBA.

Hugnata is now 41 years old, Taulava is 46 but they are still useful to their team and Taulava still even played in our national team.
We can't judge their minds, they spend their life in the PBA and maybe they will just stop when they feel they can't contribute to the team anymore.
We always have Rafi Reavis which is now 42 years old but his contribution to his team is so big.

By the way, we have one game that will start at 5 PM Philippine time.

its between the Hotshots and the TNT, which team will win.

Betting odds are hotshots +4.5 / TNT -4.5 ( my pick here is hotshots +4.5 because they need this win to stay in the playoff race).

(..snip...)

Kramer is already established financially so retiring is also a good thing for him to do. I think it's not just giving young players opportunity but it is also about being contented on what he has earned through his business and commercials.

Commendable act by Kramer, i agree. Win-win situation for him and the PBA, he have allocated one slot for one young cager to suit up in the PBA and this time around, he will be spending more time with his family. He is still usable for a few conferences but he does not wait to be push out from the league, so good move, besides as what others mentioned, he is well established financially.

Hope Taulava, Hugnatan and those 38+ guys would follow this good example by Kramer  Smiley.

Fresh news guys, Doug Kramer is going to retire and today will be his last game in the NBA.

Quote
MANILA – Doug Kramer on Friday explained his decision to retire from professional basketball, saying he was hanging his jersey out of respect for the sport and not due to injury.

In a Facebook post of Team Kramer on Friday, the cager said he was leaving to give chance to other players to take his slot.

"Basketball is not forever. And I never made it to become my only avenue. It's very temporal. I'm 36 years young and still so much to do," he said.

"I don't want to wait till my body is breaking down, or till mentally I'm drained of the daily routine of training. I'm moving on because I choose to do so," he said.

This guy is a good example of an athlete that has plans after baskeball, because even if he retires, he still has a lot of commercials and I think this guy is a vlogger as well, and with that alone, they are making a good amount of money already.

I like his statement that he is giving a chance for others to play in the PBA by giving up his spot.
He is already 36 years but he can still play with good defense, but maybe his playing time has reduce and his contract is not good enough that's why he retires.

According to this article, https://trendcelebsnow.com/doug-kramer-net-worth/

Code:
Estimated Net Worth in 2019 - $1 Million - $5 Million (Approx.)

so that means he has a good life waiting for him after retirement, this guy has already earn a lot of money, not only from his profession but also from other jobs, good for him.
He established his financial sources, commercials and businesses that he already own, there's no need for him to insist his stay knowing that new young players will keep coming and I admire him to give his spot. Like what you have said he still capable to add some quality minutes helping
the team, he can play defense and rebounds but since he's no longer being use it's time to move forward and spend those quality time with his
happy family.

It's good that at his young age he is now fully retired and he can focus his time to his family.

Meanwhile, it seems like Kramer was given more minutes in his last game but it looks like their team will loss in his last game playing with them.

Current score is 106-107, Phoenix trailing by 1 with only 16 seconds left in the game.

and it went to OT, Kramer must be lucky in this game that he might get a win on the last game of his career.

SMB seems not in the shape trying to push winning another grand slam, though this isn't over yet and they are still in the game.
The locals are the best in the line up because they are dominant in the all filipino cup even before C Stand came, but this time, there's a lot of good import and some even are the NBA players so this is really a big test.

Their import now was an NBA player but he hasn't showed his ability yet but we can expect that he will not have consecutive off night, he won't play in the NBA if he doesn't have the skills, however it seems to me that our old imports that are not NBA players are performing their best now, I am talking of brownlee and Durham, they are in a competition but Meralco had a good run so probably the best import will goes to.... DURHAM?

SMB's journey to the grand slam is not looking good as of now.

Because I'm sure that Ginebra will have a successful journey to the Grand Slam, trust me.

Hey bro, just a bit of education with regards to the PBA. A grandslam is a sort of a title given to a team in the PBA that have won the three conferences in a season. This season, SMB have already won the All-Filipino Cup and Commissioner's Cup. The Governor's Cup title is up for grabs which SMB is not in a good position to win it but still they have a chance though slim.

Your Ginebra team, is not in for a grandslam as they don't win a title this season.
Ginebra is not close for that grandslam, and same with what bisdak40 just said there's should be 3 times in a single season to have that title
only 4 teams inside this league who have it, every teams dream of reaching this titles.

SMB seems not in the shape trying to push winning another grand slam, though this isn't over yet and they are still in the game.
