Tnt Katropa - Magnolia Hotshots (-3.5 vs +3.5)

This game is the game that I am waiting for, finally its here now and I can bet.
Of course without doubt, I will pick the Magnolia Hotshots hotshots to win in this game as its a do or die for them, if they lose, goodbye to them.

I will also try to analyze the total, TNT is a high scoring team while Magnolia is a low scoring game, who will dictate the tempo of the game?
will it be magnolia? I think so, therefore i am choosing the under.

Let's move on to the next games today, SMB is already out of the competition and no grand slam for them.

Today's match up line based on the sportsbook I bet with.

Northport Batang Pier - Nlex Road Warriors (+5.5 vs -5.5)

Tnt Katropa - Magnolia Hotshots (-3.5 vs +3.5)

I know it was but its possible in PBA, I remember that games in the past, there are teams who won by more than 26 points so I was just trying my luck today. For 0.001 btc, I think it's not too much even if I lose in this bet, and you are right the game is very close so I think this is a losing bet already.
However, I will still continue with this kind of experiment, I just love the odds.

Got your point but with that kind of match-up, the chance of a blowout win is close to impossible. SMB, even though having trouble with their import is still a team to beat with the quality of players they have.

Back to the game...

Damn, that's a costly mistake by Holland on the dying seconds, he should have wait for his team mates and run a play.

Ginebra won 100-97...

That's a close game and that single decision coming from the import of SMB took out their chance to win the game. It's decision making that matters during clutch times and a bad decision is what kills a team.

Schedule for today's game.
TNT VS MAGNOLIA, this could is much exciting game compare to NLEX ROADWARIORS vs Northport.
If magnolia wins in first game, huge percentage they will able to get 2-0 win against TNT but for sure TNT will prevent this. Tough battle especially TNT got twice to beat advantage same as NLEX RoadWarriors. Hoping NLEX won't choke on this playoffs.

And the game has started...Holland remains their import so I think the chance to win here is on the SMB.
Good luck and let's enjoy this game, for awhile, I will have a break with my online activity will watch this game live.

By the way, I took Ginebra to win by 26+ points the odds was x43 using price boost.

Wow that was too much, Ginebra might win this one but with a slim margin.

End of first quarter, 23 all. This will be a close game, i think.

+26 points is too much but if that the way you want to put your bet, then I guess you will only have a lower percentage of winning. It is because teams in PBA will relax if they have the lead of 20+, that's why most loading team could catch up to avoid being down by such a huge deficit.

Psh, it was just a rumor so I don't believe until it was proven Roll Eyes. Yeah! Arwin did horrible that's why he got a suspension BUT I don't think SMB corp. could afford to trade this superstar despite of his seldom "trouble maker" attitude. He is good in the hard court, cocky but definitely got a nice showmanship especially when he do his Spiderman act lol.

This rumor might be true i think. Those 3 locals involved in the melee might not see action in the next season in a SMB uniform. Santos is part of SMB's "death five" and by indefinitely suspending him, SMB is giving up their hope of a grand slam and may part ways with him next season.

On the other hand, I'm no longer interested to Barney's ah I mean Greg's comeback from his injury because every time I watched him play with Ginebra something's went wrong. Ginebra is already good without him. I think maybe because of his slow pace? His short jumps which result to less rebounding? What are your thoughts?

Ginebra will be up against Junemar and the rest of the Beermen. Slaughter may be slow but he is the only one that can effectively guard Fajardo on a single coverage without giving up the rainbow area.

Let's see how a broken SMB will handle the solid and getting stronger GSM. I know they got the experience in handling this kind crucial situations but a loss is a loss — it is a thing you cannot ignore into your considerations. So for me I'll vote in favor of GSM, 60-50.

Ginebra should finish the SMB in game one, otherwise the the chance will be 60-40 in favor of the SMB because they have been winning in that kind of situation, like last conference  IIRC. SMB might be destructed now due to what is happening inside so Ginebra has a better chance of winning in this match up.

What do you say about this rumor? " ARWIND SANTOS HULING SEASON NA BILANG SMB | GREG SLAUGHTER MAGLALARO NA GINEBRA AT GILAS

I will share my opinion to these matchups.

Meralco Bolts Vs. Alaska Aces
Nobody expected that the Aces will clinch the playoffs with their sloppy start but they did good in their last games and now they are in the playoffs and will face Meralco who is playing differently with Allen Durham in their roster and they also have a solid big guy in Almazan.

I don't know how they will stop these twin towers of Meralco since Alaska doesn't have a player who has the same height as Almazan has. I'm not saying that Aces doesn't have a chance to win here but for me, it will be a 80-20 in favor of Bolts. This will be a easy game for them.
Honestly, I don't know also how Alaska gonna stop the 2nd Ranked team in this conference. Just hearing the word "2nd" can already shaken up your knees Grin. But well, the possibilities are still there even it was the slightest. If they able to survive on the elimination round then why not on this playoffs? They should just dream big and believe on their strength (despite of losing Bachero). Like the old saying, "Bilog ang bola".
When they match up this conference, Ginebra won by 5 points I think so they have a higher chance to win for me and also the current roster of SMB aren't playing since 3 of their players are suspended indefinitely and their import isn't playing well too (I mean he isn't playing as much as the other imports are playing). We know how SMB plays in the playoffs. They are on a different level when it comes to playoffs so this will be a close game. I'm a SMB fan but I will go 50-50 to this matchup Cheesy
The loss of their 3 players really hurts the team but they should consider their selves lucky because at least they just lose a single significant player, which is Arwind Santos. No offense for disregarding Tubid and Nabong but we all knew that they are not as important as Santos did. I hope you get my point Smiley.

but if bookies would put SMB the underdog i might place some bet on them, maybe they can snatch the first game before bowing to the Kings in game2  Grin.
That's a wise decision, but until now we can't find the odds for this game.

I am reading this article from spin.ph now.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/smb-s-grand-slam-hopes-on-the-line-in-playoff-vs-twice-to-beat-ginebra-a795-20191120

Quote
San Miguel coach Leo Austria is wary about the match-up against Ginebra, more so since it was the Gin Kings who also stopped their Grand Slam bid in the 2017 Governors’ Cup when the Beermen, seeded sixth at that time, lost to the Gin Kings, ranked No. 3 in the tournament.

it looks like SMB does not really want to face Ginebra in this kind of situation.

Brgy. Ginebra Vs. San Miguel
Last 2017 when the SMB is on the road to the grand slam, Ginebra stopped them by defeating them in the first round series 104-84 and now they have the chance to do it again. Yes they are sister teams but they will just battle as they are fighting for a reason, Ginebra to reclaim the championship and SMB to get the grand slam.

When they match up this conference, Ginebra won by 5 points I think so they have a higher chance to win for me and also the current roster of SMB aren't playing since 3 of their players are suspended indefinitely and their import isn't playing well too (I mean he isn't playing as much as the other imports are playing). Looking forward for Ginebra against San Miguel Beermen, seems like grandslam hope for Beermen is near or nah?  Grin  Grin

This would be an interesting match-up, a grand slam seeking team and a crowd favorite team. Damn. hard to choose over these two but have to wait for the bookies to put the line here and see if it's worth the pick. Historically, Ginebra has an edge over SMB on this scenario, do or die should we say, but if bookies would put SMB the underdog i might place some bet on them, maybe they can snatch the first game before bowing to the Kings in game2  Grin.

The game isn't over yet since SMB still have to play against his sister team, the chance still alive though its already slim as the match up between this
sister company bring interest to many fans. Both franchise have their own loyal fans for sure PBA will gain decent from this twice to beat game especially
if the competitions will extend to do or die match up.
