What's the impact of the Phoenix Fuel Masters?

I think it's profitable if we sided with San Miguel teams every game they have. I mean, they both Ginebra, Magnolia and SMB are good teams to side with if they have games because they have most of the talented players in the league.

May I ask? have you been gambling in sports already, especially the PBA?
No offense but it seems like the advise is coming from newbie, because based on my experience, even good teams like SMB or Ginebra also loss in a game, and most of the time they win but they failed to cover.

Since SMB is the best team in the PBA, expect that you will only get like 1.50 or below on the ML odds, so that's only 50% or less of winning when you put your bet on SMB, if you have to get 50/50 payout, you need to be on the point spread which most of the time SMB failed to cover.

I have read articles regarding game fixing in the UAAP and NCAA before but not in the PBA.
DO you guys aware that it happened in the PBA?

I am aware of this though it's hard to prove it, any sports can be fix, and we know in the Philippines there are a lot of corrupt people so this PBA and MPBL can easily fix. I'm just curious, how do they stop the game fixing if the fixer is inside the organization, or it could be the one who runs the PBA, their officials to be specific.

I bet online, hard to bet offline in every game, and we are crypto enthusiast so we should support crypto as this gives us convenience when it comes to gambling.

He was kick out from Alaska because of his attitude, he did not attend practices without notifying the team of his absence and the Alaska management sees that lack of respect from him that's why he was sent to the Phoenix. Actually, he was given a 2nd chance in the Phoenix but he abuse that 2nd chance, so now, I'm sure he is already regretting his past wrong actions.
He is a good player but he lacks professionalism. He became popular with his attitude but sometimes, it is too much that many are getting affected including his career. Now that nothing is accepting him anymore (lets wait), the best thing for him to do is to play in tournaments in different cities.

Do Jordan Clarkson manage to be on the lineup of philippines for this year FIBA?
He is in the 19 man pool of the team but the chances of him to play is very low (close to 0). There is no official statement yet from the FIBA management regarding this situation. The Management and the SBP have talks already but no decision has been made yet until now and the games is near already. I don't think he will play this year but in the next FIBA cup, Clarkson has a higher chance to play at that time.

Alex Compton steps down as Alaska head coach, Jeffrey Cariaso takes over

What will be the effect of this decision on the Alaska?

That was already expected so nothing new.

And Jeffrey Cariaso was part of Alaska's coaching staff for quite a long time now oo I don't see any big concerns about the change in their coaching staffs.

I don't expect this really, Compton was ask to step down, why not just change the head line as fired because that's the real situation here.
After so many seasons they played, he has to go for now, I also think this is a chance for a poor teams in the NBA to get him as he specialize in defense especially the hustle plays, he is good in managing his players on the floor.

Columbian Dyip and Black Water, those are the weak teams in the PBA, they should consider hiring this guy.

Do Jordan Clarkson manage to be on the lineup of philippines for this year FIBA?

Under FIBA rules, only one naturalized player per team is allowed. Andray Blatche already holds the spot for PH so no Clarkson for now. Just for refreshment and questions why Clarkson able to play the last time for the PH, that's because different rules apply for Asian Games. And not just that, clearance from Cleveland Cavaliers, Clarkson's NBA team, is also necessary. NBA teams don't just allow their player under contract to play overseas for Nationals.

That's a good idea for a while since FIBA will comes first before the next season's for PBA, showing also our interest for the national team and how they  will work and try their very best to advance to the next round, though there's a lots of questions about the lineup and how they will be competitive against the super teams from this tournament.

I thought its a good idea to discuss every philippines games in FIBA but later on I noticed that there’s a FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 thread that can use to discuss all games.

Cariaso serves Alaska Aces all his career in PBA if I’m not mistaken he played with Abarientos and Jolas “Jojo Lastimosa” after the man leaves Purefoods .with this and ofcourse his skills in basketball and experiences?there is no much deserving coach for Alaska as Jeffrey, the Aces needs to come back from their past records of Back to back to back champion and now with Cariaso stepping in?i am sure there’s a future for them again

Might be this thread would be good to use for discussing PBA FIBA games?  As of now there’s still no announcement on the next commisioners cup.

Does the title I edited fits it? Hopefully my kababayan agrees and OP to use this thread discussing FIBA PBA games and edit it again and back at it the title to “Philippine Basketball Association Discussion” that literally suits it the best.

Everybody deserve a second chance but don't know which team will be interested on the Beast's service, maybe SMB  Grin.

I have watched a video on youtube and I think the Phoenix is working to trade him. They tried to trade him on NLEX but things didn't went on what they talked and in the end, it didn't happen. They also tried to trade him in Ginebra in exchange for LA Tenorio but they refused immediately. The Manager of the Ginebra refused it immediately after saying it to them. I think they are trying to trade also with the Alaska Aces. Until now, there is no updates into where will The Beast will land.
Seems no one is interested on the Beast and we can't blame them as Abueva is showing his negative sides which is not good for the team that will get him. Phoenix is starting to be a team to beat when Abueva is still with them and abruptly became the opposite when he was gone and the team suffers because of his antics. Everybody deserve a second chance but don't know which team will be interested on the Beast's service, maybe SMB  Grin.

Well Arwind Santos got what he deserves. So it's better if we will not fire up the issue again. But, the lesson is learned that racism does not have a room in Philippine Basketball Association. Wala eh, hambog eh.
This shows how the PBA association valued the imports and act directly when sanction is necessary.
By the way, do we have a news regarding Calvin Abueva? I miss this guy, he was suspended because he hit jones, I can't remember if he was also penalize monetarily with that, but I just hope Calvin will apologize to Jones and to the PBA organization so he can play soon, his team really needs him badly.

That's bad for him, his attitude is a big problem here, if he won't change, no team will ever accept him.
Because of he got suspended indefinitely, the Phoenix which was suppose to be a good contender in the playoffs, miss their chance, and being a star he should know that he has a commitment to the team to play in the playoffs again but he lost his professionalism, instead he got so emotional and do things that could hurt his reputation.

You're welcome DarkStar_ , please still have this kind of offer for next conference.

By the way, anybody knows where when will the next conference will start? I'm excited to win my losses back, LOL..
Probably this will start after the FIBA, right?

I will try my best  Cheesy
Feel free to PM me when it starts, I might end up forgetting. Pretty fun trying to be a bookmaker yourself. I thought I mispriced a TNT win (I thought that odds should be lower) but it didn't matter in the end as no one too the (probably too low) SMB odds and they ended up winning.

Looks like PBA will have a game overseas this coming October

October 4 (Friday) Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE
(8:00PM) SMB vs. NLEX

October 5 (Saturday) Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai, UAE
(6:00PM) NLEX vs. GINEBRA

I hope our kababayans will support PBA there since there's a lot of Filipinos working in Dubai. I wonder when they are going to play again in Philippine Arena. That place is big enough to handle the fans if Ginebra. They (PBA) are the first one who set the record in Philippine Arena for the biggest crowd.
