This is not the first time Abueva committed such acts, the difference on what he did on Terrence Jones is that it got negative reaction from the international basketball community. "Clothlining"is a very dangerous act that could harm another player. I agree with that, but after it was traded, the Alaska was never a better team anymore.
Abueva always makes his team better when he plays that's why he is on demand but it's his attitude that is destroying that opportunity for him.

Calvin Abueva is a very good player, in fact he was drafted 2nd to Fajardo and he was really a loss to the Alaska team. Alaska won a championship when Calvin was still a rookie and after that a runner-up was the highest place they got. Alaska had a 14 losing streak two years ago when Calvin was still with them and suddenly he went AWOL for a month or two. If i were Uytengsu, i would do just the same, get rid of problematic players.
