Do you all remember laser episodes on FIFA qualification match between Egypt and Senegal? FIFA punished Senegal's football organization for fan disorder during the match. Action quite justified as they have abused fellow opponents for a long time. Laser that is being used by so many countries should have fined but nothing happens to them. Otherwise FIFA continuous to be the joke association for others.
The truth is any team would take a $200k fine + a game without their fans in exchange for a spot in the FIFA world cup to be honest. It’s a shame though that Senegal got away with this one. The fixture should've been replayed in a neutral venue. Although, some fans would argue that Senegal only gave Egypt a taste of their own medicine but we have to agree that is unacceptable.

@SatoPrincess had FIFA gone in for a replay it would have created complications, because each time a team would be losing then their fans would try and disrupt the game, and hope that their team would get a rematch hence rematch was never going to be feasible for FIFA.

However what I liked was FIFA has sent out a stern message and I hope that from now on such incidents won’t be repeated, and if they yet happen then FIFA should threaten to ban that country because that’s the only way these incidents can end.

it should no longer happen in the world of football where the audience shines a laser on the players who are playing which they shouldn't use in the Senegal vs Egypt match in the African zone world cup playoffs.but decisive steps were immediately taken by FIFA and CAF by imposing sanctions.to the Senegalese fans who threw a tantrum in the match and at the same time tarnished football which has been so sporting and the steps taken by FIFA and CAF are the right steps so that this does not happen again in football competitions.especially in African countries.

23.5 million people have requested to buy World Cup tickets in Qatar, according to the FIFA website! Most of them expressed interest in watching Argentina matches. Messi's influence on the pitch is quite obvious, the man is way too influential. He has more influence than anyone could imagine. Argentina's fans have always been amazing. Messi would still be the reason for those people to watch Argentina.
The pandemic effects, including the financial world crisis were fastly dissipated, it seems... Tickets for games of world cup in Qatar are approximately 30% more expensive compared to the last world cup of 2018, while for the final games the increasement hits astonishing 45%! That can mean two things: fiat inflation is out of control, what means money isn't worthing anything along the years, or the pandemic plus post-pandemic must have been a profitable period of time for determined segments of our socities. For the average citizen, there is no other option besides sticking with the old and good television to watch the games. At least it's almost free. Tongue
I've read that most tickets so far have been sold to fans living in Qatar, the United States, England, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
Prices really are absurdly high, but I believe the main reason for this is because the games are being held in Qatar, where everything is absurdly more expensive than the average in the rest of the country.
As was FIFA's ticket policy for the 2010, 2014 and 2018 editions of the World Cup, residents of the host country will benefit exclusively from a special price category, but does anyone happen to know what that special price is?

Well, I have no idea about what the special price is. But there has to be something special for a lot of people to buy tickets at this amount.  and it's also true that the people there are a lot richer than the other countries. So it's quite normal for the people there to spend money of a certain amount on tickets for FIFA world cup matches. With the special discount, they must have gone crazy,,, lol Cheesy.

The problem with lasers is that they are very compact. Therefore, they are easy to carry into the stadium and use. If you remember after the vuvuzela ban, they were not heard anywhere - it is difficult to bring them covertly because of their size. It is irrational to punish the receiving party every time, since the laser can bring a provocateur to harm the receiving party. Although of course it makes sense for the stewards at the games to work more carefully and identify those who use lasers.

Most of the time things looks very easy on papers and have nothing good in reality currently peoples are feeling good for England which is nothing new because we have all teams coming from very tough selection and able to win this mega event without any problem but mostly in grounds many times we have completely different results which never been on papers.

Currently, it's guaranteed they will reach into last eight but after this what happened to them, it's not easy to predict on his day any team can create upset and win match because we are now in last eight which is surely best from all around the world. With this all I am feeling this time we are going to have again team from Europe as Champions of the world because they are currently in better shape instead of South America which is surely the biggest rivalry for them in this event.

Of course, in the midst of all this, we are just speculating. In football anything can happen, and not always the favorite team wins.
We saw for example what happened recently in the Champions League, with Bayern.

I think this World Cup, which is held at an unusual time, will bring some surprises. Some teams, despite being more favourites, will not perform as well as expected.
Not just in football but i guess in most of the sports betting games. There's always a lot of twists and surprises that tend to happen in finals wherein even the most favorite team does not end up winning the championship. Although their performance is outstanding from the start, but everything changes in finals as its mostly the underdog takes the gain and brings home the beacon. And i think this FIFA World Cup 2022 is not an exception.

Wow, a really big discount!
You can see that the organization of the games is really exploiting fans from other countries too much.
I would say this is bad, but we see that people are really willing to pay for these exorbitant and unrealistic values, I think they saved money in these two years of pandemic and now they are having the perfect chance to travel and watch football in a country where any person has already been interested in knowing.
Qatar impresses with its events of extraordinary magnitude, I'm sure they will make a very beautiful event, but I still think the tickets are very expensive.

I found this spreadsheet displaying the tickets prices separated in categories:

https://thepeninsulaqatar.com/article/19/01/2022/fifa-world-cup-qatar-2022-tickets-sale-starts-today-with-special-price-for-qatar-residents

Category 4 (CAT 4) refers to the tickets costs for Qatar citizens. As we can see, qataris have access to a huge discount in every stages of the cup.
The prices are showed in Qatari Riyal, the local fiat currency. For better calculating the costs we can use 3,64 QAR = 1 USD.

I hope that these guys who run fifa start putting their hands on their conscience and be fair in the next editions of the world, when I talk about them fair I am referring to them increasing the number of vacancies for the African continent and also looking at that in Africa it is a poor continent and that's why they put discounted ticket prices for people from poor countries and also don't charge high values for TV channels to broadcast the games. I don't know the values and what kind of deal fifa makes with the tv channels, but it's certainly not a fair deal because for someone like me who lives in a poor country every time there's a world cup, people from my country have to pay dearly to be able to watch the games on tv and only watch some games, to be able to watch all the games you will have to pay more money, this is shameful

Wow, pretty funny! Discounts on tickets for some games more than 90%. I don’t even know how to evaluate it - whether it’s a gift for the citizens of Qatar (who seem to be far from poor and have a high standard of living) or as a robbery from foreign fans, for whom the prices are quite high. By the way, as I understand it, all tickets are nominal and no speculation will be possible?

We still don't know who will qualify for the last 3 slots. There are two Inter-confederation play-offs that are scheduled for June. Costa Rica will be facing New Zealand in the CONCACAF v OFC playoff, while Peru will face the 4th placed team from AFC in AFC v CONMEBOL playoff. The third slot will be decided during the UEFA playoff, which got delayed as a result of the war in Ukraine. This one will be decided on 5th June. I find it ironic that we still don't know about the final list of participants for the World Cup.

Why not? The World Championship is still a long way off and the teams have a lot of time to prepare if they get there at all. I think now everyone is busy solving issues in connection with the end of the season, then everyone will be busy with transfers, then the national championships will begin, and only after that the world championship will take place. We can say that it is too early to think about it now.

The figure of Leonel Messi is of course a very big attraction in the Argentine national team, because Messi is now 35 years old, most likely this year's world cup will be Messi's last world cup, it is certain that all Messi fans will buy tickets to watch the last game of their star player Because this year is also the last year for Ronaldo to play in the world cup, maybe this year's world cup ticket sales are the most ticket purchases in all world cups.

So unlike other teams that will have a very difficult path to get to the quarterfinals the path of England should be easier, and if the situation allows it they could even rest some of their starters, if they happen to win some of the games by a large margin, something that is a great advantage in a short tournament like the World Cup.

Undoubtedly, this kind of possibility is an asset for any team in the World Cup.
If you manage to win the first two games in the group, you are easily guaranteed a pass and that way the third game can be done in a much more relaxed way.
For England this could be easy, looking at the other teams in the group. But you cannot devalue the USA, which has been playing very well.

Am sure of Ghana making it to the FIFA world cup qualifiers round as their defeated Nigeria in the last match with the home advantage since Nigeria was home, but in truth am stock between which country will carry the fifa trophy this round between Spain and Japan those two countries have performed significantly well in the previous world cup.

Well, of all the teams in Africa, the one I liked the most was Nigeria, honestly for everything, for its football, for its way and style of playing, I think it's a team that has had a great history, now the fact that well, it's something that is pitiful, however I also really like the football that Ghana shows, I hope they can win and go, 'I think it's a good opportunity.

Now they are going to be in one of the strong groups so to speak, I don't see any weak teams, I really hope they can qualify and see these eagles fight.

It was not really expected that Ghana would qualify ahead of Nigeria to book a space in the World Cup finals in Qatar. Nigeria was the favorite but failed to qualify. Although Ghana didn't win Nigeria in either legs of the world cup qualifiers, the Nigeria team can even argue they had a penalty turned down by VAR. Ghana should be able to qualify from that group in the world cup.

Well, the truth is that Ghana should arrive, but in football anything can happen, however, how is all this going and the level that Ghana has shown in football, at least for me, if they have grown and have the World Cup level, to measure themselves against any World Cup team, we must not forget that many of the big teams like Italy, Sweden, which are nations that are not in this World Cup, the fact that Ghana now has this opportunity is a plus that is given to all the African people in general and that personally to me (I am not African) but I like it and it pleases me.

Qualification for world cup for South American nations like Brazil and Argentina has always been a certainty for them for many years so I don't rate them based on that neither do I build expectations based on that. Apart from France I don't think any European nations gives Brazil much trouble. Germany only did sometimes ago because the Brazilian team was built around Neymar and him been out of that game with a career threatening injury really devastate the team hence Germany could capitalize on that. That same German team struggled against Argentina in the final. In fact, Argentina almost won if not that the strikers were been wasteful in the game.

indeed we recognize the Brazil and Argentina squads in the world cup event where they always qualify for the world cup finals including they often escape the knockout phase.but teams from Europe often make it difficult for the two big Latin teams besides France which is also quite troublesome for them to be there.Germany and also Belgium, where Belgium is a dark horse team that often makes it difficult for teams from any continent.including Brazil and Argentina where we saw in the last world cup where Belgium managed to get rid of the Brazilian giants in the.quarter-finals.

What happens is that the fact that the South American qualifiers for me are the most difficult in the entire continent, ´I know very well the level in Europe because the teams are very good, but really Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile , well all the South American teams are very good, the weakest are Venezuela and almost sometimes Peru, but this is changing because for me Venezuela for the next World Cup can be profiled for the World Cup, since the South American level has great relevance at the world level.

I think that England has a decent chance to make it to the final of the world cup, after all their group even if it is filled with matches with political controversies they should still easily win Group B. And then in the next round they will have to face the runner up of the Group A which is the weakest by far.

So with this in mind England should be able to make it to the quarterfinals without any problems and from then on they will have to depend on their own performance and only beat 3 good teams in a row, which is a very easy path compared to what Spain, Germany or Brazil have to face.
For every world cup before now, it has been the same story for the English national team, they are easily tipped to be one of the teams that would have a decent competition but they tend to fall short of expectations as always. I think England can make it to the quarter finals but I don't see them going beyond that or probably at best they will end up at the semifinals.
Well I am not really saying that they will in fact win the World Cup, but the England team cannot ask for a better opportunity than this, there does not seems to be a real challenger that can take away from them the first spot of Group B, and they should face the second place of Group A, the weakest group on the entire World Cup.

So unlike other teams that will have a very difficult path to get to the quarterfinals the path of England should be easier, and if the situation allows it they could even rest some of their starters, if they happen to win some of the games by a large margin, something that is a great advantage in a short tournament like the World Cup.
