I don't know why many users underrated Japan's skills in the field of football but if you have been following Japan's performance both in the previous world cups or the qualifying stage you will see how high spirited they are and their level of motivation is quite high which will give Japan motivation needed to win in the world cup.

But another question is will countries like Brazil or Germany ever pose a threat to Japan's performance in the world cup?
It is very difficult to predict, because all countries that qualify for the world cup, will definitely give everything for their country, the blue samurai are in the hell group, the blue samurai are in the same group with Spain and Germany, if we look at the statistics the chances of the blue samurai are very slim, to qualify for the Qatar world cup round of 16, but I am optimistic that Minamino can surprise this year's world cup in Qatar, and the Asian nation can go further this year in the world cup.

I think that any country that participates in the world cup tries to be excited and motivated to try to do everything to win.

But we have to be realistic, for Japan to win the world cup, we have to see Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain, England and even Portugal, playing very badly. But really bad.

Now, we are glad that they are well motivated, as this will increase the quality of the show. And in the end anything can happen, this is football and sometimes there are big surprises.
Moving to the next round of the World Cup is not something impossible for Japan but to win the World Cup is something completely different, if I remember correctly South Korea was able to reach the semifinals of the World Cup when they hosted it together with Japan at the 2002 edition of the World Cup.

However this was done with luck and with some doubtful decisions by the referees, and even then it was only enough to reach the semifinals, so I doubt the current level of Japan is enough to be able to get the win during this tournament.

The 2022 world cup will soon take place, group E will be populated by Germany, Spain, Costa Rica and Japan, it can be said that Spain and Germany are countries that have won the world cup title, while Costa Rica and Japan are only complements in group E, it is certain Germany and Spain qualify for the next round. According to my prediction, Germany will come out as group winner this year, while Spain will be the runner-up in Group E.

Germany looks good in your eyes to come top of that group but remember Spain is a very strong team and Japan too have been a strong team appearing in world cup seven times and the first being in 1998 although they did badly that year but they have also grown with experience. Costa Rica too have appeared at the world cup five times, so I think despite that Germany looks good but the teams there are not just fresh or new countries to the world cup, anything can happen. If Germany is eliminated from the group stage, it won't be the first time obviously.

This reminds me of a very famous player from Japan, I don't know if you remember him, his name is Nakata, that player, like all of his team at that time, came to the World Cup because since they were children they were inspired by the "Super Champions" anime and above all Nakata was one of the players who recognized that, I think that Japanese football is beautiful, it is showy, but it has always lacked an ingredient, perhaps the luck factor that is so necessary too, at this time I did not know well what It can happen, it is still to start but many things can happen, Asian football has grown a lot and its participation in the World Cups is evident, I hope to see Japan give us a football of the level of that country where its greatest strength is technology and development .

If South Korea could beat Germany four years ago I think Japan can have a go against Spain or Germany too. Just probably, most football fans are clearly underestimating Japan because obviously we can't compare the level of football in Europe to that of Asia but again football is a team sport and the team that seemingly want it more always come up on top after 90 minutes. I don't think Japan can top that group but I would give them a chance to qualify as runner-up.
Although always have possibility on football I don't think with Japan have chance for defeating Germany, I know what happen with last performance world cup edition where Germany defeated by South Korea and failed qualify on group stage. But right now have different player from Germany and they have higher level than Japan team. I think Germany as potential as 1st standing on this group and have chance almost 80% for Germany will be world cup champion after I choose with another Europe team like England.
In such a short tournament like the World Cup anything can happen, and while it is obvious that both Germany and Spain should be the favorites to move to the next round we can always see a surprise and see one of them being eliminated on the group stage.

After all Japan does not need to even beat them, as long as they can get a draw on their games against Germany and Spain and they win their remaining game then that could be more than enough to get them to the next round, as long as on the game between Germany and Spain one of them beats the other.

Japan are no where close to the level of Spain and Germany internationally. On paper, they stand no chance against the two of Europe best teams but I still think they can benefit from the mistakes from them. I think if Spain and Germany gets a draw, it will throw the group open. Japan just need to avoid losing to either of them by that they will certainly stand a chance of qualifying ahead of one of them. Again, it is worthy to note that football is a sport full of surprises. Japan might upset these European giants like we saw the likes of Senegal did to France some years ago in the world cup.
Germany showed a weak performance in the last World Cup and they lost against South Korea in the group stage (just to be eliminated there). Japan might not have the quality and their chances are not very high, but they sure will come with a very high motivation and they will fight which could lead to a surprise even against Spain or Germany.
Ultimately I doubt they will qualify though. If Costa Rica is also in that group than they'll have to get past them as well. (If New Zealand makes it, than Japan has a very good chance to at least win against them)

I wouldn’t be surprised if Japan managed to beat either Spain or Germany, because I’m expecting at least one upset in this group, and I also wonder if another octopus will be used for predicting the results.Furthermore it’s all about the right beliefs and strong mentality, and if Japan player’s bring it on the pitch then I’m sure that they’ll cause lots of trouble for Germany and Spain player’s.

Indeed, football is a team game that works together to win. But we must not forget that in that there must be someone who can improve their mentality for the better, as Cristiano Ronaldo did in Portugal. It may be true that Ronaldo's game is not as good as when he was young, but he is someone who motivates young players to be able to improve their performance.

In addition, we have to keep in mind that no opposing team will look at Ronaldo as a player like the others. You will always pay double attention to his movements. This could allow other players from Portugal to be left without the proper marking, thus resulting in a more dangerous play, even without Ronaldo direct intervention. If Portugal tactics are well developed, they will be a strong team.

With football it is the team that unites to make a win. With sports like cricket even a single player could change the entire match. European countries were dominant in football for which we can't say Japan won't have a chance. In terms of ranking there is difference of Germany at 12 th position and Japan at 23rd position. However the exposure against different teams and the popular faces playing for different clubs adds more strength to Germany than Japan.

What sort of logic is this? Even in football, a single player can change the course of the match. If that was not the case, then Portugal would not have qualified for the 2022 world cup. There are a few other good players, but essentially Portugal is a one-man army led by Cristiano Ronaldo. Now coming to Japan, with the exception of one or two matches in the past, they have historically underperformed in the world cup. In general, AFC teams struggle when they face UEFA or CONMEBOL teams in the world cups.

Most of the peoples feeling Japan is no competition for Germany and Spain may be it is right but still in last few years few Asian countries are working hard for improving their quality in soccer and Japan is one of these countries as now they have very strong league and few players are joining European Leagues which giving them some good technique and experience for having better quality.

German and Spanish players are enjoying with their best system and long tradition in soccer which is very helpful for them all, but surely in next few years these Asian teams could be more experienced and better in quality which will give them some better respect in soccer community.

Currently, Japan has no chance for going into next round in presence of Germany and Spain because these are much superior.

The fact that Asian teams (for example, South Korea) have shown phenomenal progress in the last 20 years is undeniable, but everything is known in comparison and Europe also did not stand still at this time. Therefore, even with the increase in the level of teams from this region, the actual gap in the class has not changed much, it seems to me. I think that having got into the group with Germany and Spain, Japan can only rely on the mistakes of these teams, but not at all on "its own strengths". I will certainly write this outcome in my betting calendar - it seems to me that it will be a easy +20%.

I think, Argentina group is very hard to others group. I think, any two team can be qualify next round. Mexico, Poland and Saudia Arabia very strong team. But Argentina played very well their last many matches.I think they can be qualify for next round. They have some good player and they are top form in. Waiting for what happen exactly. What do you think? Who can qualify group C for next round?

Argentida should pass first in the group, without major difficulties.
Saudi Arabia should be in last place. It can even try to make life difficult for the other teams, but I don't think it will go forward.
Thus, the second place in the group will be disputed by Mexico and Poland. I think Polonia has better arguments to be in second place, but I think Mexico will be playing very well and have a great chance of being able to overtake Poland.
Mexico and Argentina are in the same group for Qatar 2022 makes both of them the two favorites to qualify from the group but that fixture between the two countries will be clearly a revenge match. They seemingly have history together at the world cup. Poland will be hoping Lewandowski will be able to replicate his Bayern Munich form for the national side or else I don't see them getting out of the group.

As Argentinian, clearly Argentina is the favorite to win the group, but....
Mexico is directed by Martino former Barca manager and also Argentina in the years 2015-16. He knows everybody well.
Poland its a shit team but in the World Cup any can pass because its only one match. Only to clarify , i say this for Poland because this team never was a trouble to any Big of europe.

Considering the games in the group stages will be close to each other (can't remember now, was it like once every 3 days or 4 days or something?) and that means teams will be tired by the time group stage is over and maybe the first game will be easy, and second one not so hard but third one will be hard.

Cameroon could use that stamina for exactly that reason but when it comes to actual elimination phase I do not see them as a possible candidate to go for too further. Brazil is the only one, and if that happens to be a good draw, like if they face big teams back to back, then it could become harder for them as well. I still think even Brazil won't win it.
Physically it affects a team that has players who simultaneously play in the league, because of the tight schedule of the league matches, making players lose concentration, focus and stamina in the match, but this is not a strong reason for them, because after all international football players are very strict monitoring of physical fitness for each player, personally I still believe Brazil can overcome the fitness problems of its players, but Cameroon will certainly pursue this opportunity to win every game

With a group like that Argentina is sure to have some problems.
But, I expect them to do well and I am sure Lionel Messi is going to try to do really well and prove that he is also really good at international football.
