I'm happy because there are 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide. But in my country Indonesia, there is still not there bitcoin ATM. So if we make transactions still use the internet network... I hope that in the next few years, other developing countries, such as in Indonesia, will have bitcoin ATMs, so that the population will be very easy to do transactions.
Number of BTC ATMs is unquestionably increases every day, but when you look at map of available ATMs approximately 2500 of the total 3100 is located in North America, 1972 in USA and 535 in Canada. I think that this fact speaks for itself, we are far away to see much better coverage in other part of the world. For instance one small European country Austria have 178 locations, and so-called most friendly county Japan only 11 locations.

Not sure how accurate that list is because in Romania I know for sure there are 2 BTC ATMs only (1 in Capital Bucharest and 1 in Cluj) and those are with BTC ONLY, no other coins.
It is always good to see the numbers of bitcoin ATM increasing constantly in different parts of continents around the world, because there will be more and more people who will take notice of bitcoin whenever they walk past a bitcoin ATM, and people who are starting to get interested in bitcoin might even spend some of their own money to purchase bitcoin for the first time in their life.

It is a good news that Bitcoin ATM is gaining momentum, but I doubt that how it is going to build the utility value unless there is some mechanism for the merchants to accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies against the delivery of their goods and services. It doesn't make any sense to convert Bitcoins into the fiat currency for spending it and to call it a decentralization.

I think is a new development that still need some technical aspect but believe as time goes we will be solving any issue that comes from it , at the same time is a very good development in crypto and will soon reach the world at large.

At every point of sale,at every store,when you go to cinema theres a POS with btc option,when you pay for your morning coffee you just scan the qr code and you pay.... yeah in ten years it will be a norm

It is really a big news but the number is not sufficient comparing to the uses of bitcoin and hope soon it will going to increase.

Don't know how much ATM's are worldwide but I have read that Australia is going to increase number of ATMs from 20 to 500. Argentina is going to install 200 ATM. I read on finder.com that there are almost 2000 bitcoin ATMs in USA and if I remember correctly, article was published in 2017 year. So if we sum up, we have to expect more than 4000 ATMs by the end of 2018 year.

If they set up 3,000 Bitcoin ATMs worldwide, then it would be good. As a result, Bitcoin can easily purchase and transfer money and buy and sell it. Having ATM lying around sidewalks is another way to promote the digital currency and I think having only 3000 total is a number leaving a lot of room for improvement.
