Hmm, I see my rig switched to my backup pool for a few moments. It switched back to Slush, but now my worker diff jumped from 8 to 19. Hopefully it'll settle down soon....

All rigs currently switched to slush as back-up. Slush in Operation. LED fireworks started a minute ago. This has not happened before in 12.000 hours of Operation. Somebody / something is pounding the big pools. With so many People from prc and russia mining it must not be NSA.

All DDoS'd at the same time.

Will P2Pool save us?

This is *very* suspicious and calls for attention  Huh

This has happened quite a few times over the last couple of years. In the end rollover to solo mining to keep the network safe. (And this is good opportunity to install and play with pool software if you're running an ASIC, since the client, of course, won't cope).

Except, for many of us solo mining = no mining.  There is a reason for pools.

how do you setup solo mining and whats a decent amount of Ghash to make it worth while

Don't worry. I've got my i5 hashing away as security for the network while the attacks are going on.

Average hashrate in last 10 rounds: 18809 Mhash/s

This is a strange one. I have been at 19850mh for last 10 rounds since starting with Slush in July. Is this the effect of the DDoS

hmm.. all seems well, I didn't see any downtime but I suppose I wouldn't know forsure.
Miners all systems go...

I did see the pool get to like 97000gh this morning now back down to 81000.

Not sure if that is weird.

I want a KNCminer 1st day shipped, who wants to sell their 1st day order to me?Smiley My 20gh/s is now making me cringe.

Slush pool site is down; is mining affected?  I can't tell because I monitor through Slush's API and website.

My Pi says we are up:

Yes, I am experiencing the same website being down issue.  I doubt this is related but my block erupters all went offline around midnight eastern time.  They were trying to reconnect to the pool and couldn't until I rebooted my Raspberry Pi this monring.  They are usually very reliable, so it was weird.

Why all the DDOSs now?

Hi,
Is there a way to change the pool settings, or a command line when using the Stratum Proxy? I have an Asicminer Blade v2, and it restarts due to the work not being fast enough, so it tops out at an average of 6 - 7 g/hs. But when I use a different pool that uses the old get work protocol, I max at 10.5 g/hs. Any ideas would be great.
I had to run a proxy service to get my v2 blade up to full power. I run between 9900- 12000 hs. hope that helps.\
