Hopefully this will spread and be done in other countries as well as on other continents.  Maybe even include it as part of financial literacy in high school and blockchain in college.

this is a great development,, and with more and more people teaching bitcoin lessons means in the future bitcoin will be even better, and I think for sure other countries will also adopt more bitcoins and teach bitcoin lessons to, their people.

A lot of speculation is possible. We can't predict exactly what the future holds. But so far, maybe they will learn a lot about Blokchain Technology, not about trading. Because the scope of bitcoin is very wide and governments in all countries still refuse to make bitcoin an official currency. In addition, I am happy that currently the world of education and countries are starting to open up to learn bitcoin/blockchain. At least this can bring the effect of the name bitcoin becoming more and more known and more and more people are studying it and in the end they are using it.
We can't just ignore the new trend. Perhaps, for 14 years that crypto has been existing, we see bad/good things happen around, it was likely the time to step forward for a better environment where digital currency is worth experiencing. as it was been introduced in school, it was a stepping stone for better knowledge and understanding of crypto and blockchain technology. As the more they grasp the idea about crypto, the more they will appreciate the usefullness of this project.

40 high schools isn't as big of a step as some others did (for example, France added Blockchain and cryptos into the overall school curriculum, not as an experiment in a bunch of schools), but it's still better than nothing.
Exactly, it's way better than nothing because those students anyway will be able to understand and explain what bitcoin is also to their families, friends, etc, and we all have to start somewhere. Also I don't think it's fair comparing Argentina and France, we're talking about 2 completely different countries and economies.
Argentina have a population of around 46-47 million. Among this half the population is under the age of 30. This means what is being taught now will surely make a big impact in the countries upliftment through technology and economical growth. The country is experiencing hard corruption issues, and students through their learning can come up with a solution through the technology.
I really do hope that this can make a big difference for the new generations, especially because I love Argentina and it's a pity that they're always in a financial mess. The only problem could be if they actually have the money to risk in bitcoin, because the salaries are low, inflation is high, I'm not so sure that an average Joe is willing to put some bucks in bitcoin, it could be seen as a huge bet.

That is a good addition for sure. But kids these days already know a lot about crypto and they even get into trading and investing at a very young age. There is plenty of information online and we don't know which one is true. Now adding crypto into the school curriculum will be a good way to educate them properly with relevant information.

Argentina is about to launch bitcoin education in their curriculum,  this is going to take place in 40 High schools with about 4,000 students.  This is  an Interesting news many  bitcoiners have been waiting for,  I think this won't just end in Argentina,  other countries will take this same good  within a short time.

Argentina  is the second highest  bitcoin  adopter in Latin America,  I the reason for the innovation is to make students  know  the importance of bitcoin. The economy of Argentina is suffering in the hands of hyperinflation.

Secondary  school are great target for  influencing the youngsters to study and use  crypto as they are young, fresh and dedicated.
but i think we need to focus more in Users in which colleges as they are directly involved in doing something good for the community and the market .
But hoping that the world will implement this for bigger and wider views for Bitcoin.

no wonder some countries have created special curricula for blockchain, specifically bitcoin. right now, crypto is very popular to be discussed, and it could be that out of those 4000 students, some will become crypto developers in the future, who knows. however, this is something that needs to be learned for today's schoolchildren. so that they are familiar with this technology when they see it. right now, there's a lot on the internet about crypto, if they learn about it, maybe they can also make big projects in the future. well, hopefully other countries will also start publishing this curriculum.
A lot of speculation is possible. We can't predict exactly what the future holds. But so far, maybe they will learn a lot about Blokchain Technology, not about trading. I think this is very correct. It seems to me that in today's world such training plays a rather important role.

Since 2016 Argentina is experiencing hard inflation. This has made more than 37.5% population turn poverty. This has made Argentinian show much interest towards cryptocurrency investment. As a result the cryptocurrency penetration into Argentina is found high compared to the other countries of that region. The increasing usage is out of the belief that it'll help the people overcome the inflation. Now the school education will also help in making cryptocurrency usage in a better way unlike any market fluctuations.

interesting, the school is the place for knowledge. The background is the management, and the wise attitude towards the quality young generation in the midst of inflation in the country.

This is an effort that I think is tackling and educating at a sufficient age for economic provision, it is true that if a country's economy can be managed properly it will bring progress and bitcoin can play a role there too.
I hope this positive action can bear fruit, adding a complementary standard.

Of course other countries will follow to provide special education in their schools.
as well as scholarship assistance.hehe

I really appreciate a country that is quicker to put forth efforts and quick steps for a revolution for progress and bitcoin.

So this will fall under the finance subject or curriculum or It's a separate subject that specifically tackles Bitcoin alone?
This is kinda interesting to be honest, but they should tackle the general aspect of whole cryprocurrency to guide these children from not investing into a wrong project.
Greed might kick in especially when these highschool kids learn the history of Bitcoin.
Nevertheless, this is a good initiative.
I guess it won't be part of the official curriculum, since the initiative came from a non-governmental organization. And to be part of the curriculum, a governmental department (educational one) should approve this concept first and then introduce the matter inside a subject like mathematics or hire a specialist to teach. At least, that is my guess, though. Maybe I'm wrong...

Quote
A non-governmental organization by the name of Bitcoin Argentina has partnered with Paxful and the Built With Bitcoin Foundation to educate students about Bitcoin. The program named Schools and Bitcoin will include students from 40 different schools.

Moreover, Argentina's government discourages crypto usage. That is what they said after sealing a deal with IMF in order to launch a recovery plan for the local devastated economy:

Quote
Argentina’s government has signaled it will discourage the use of cryptocurrencies as part of a proposed, nearly $45 billion debt restructuring deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), leaving the country’s crypto sector questioning what this policy could mean if approved.
Argentina’s government would 'discourage' crypto usage under proposed IMF deal

The government trust cryptocurrency that much to the point of having a bitcoin curriculum at school. Not all government and school are open in that kind of learning.

I think it’s so inspirational that Argentina is launching a bitcoin curriculum. So many young people will be future innovators in the cryptocurrency space. These young Argentinians could perhaps be entrepreneurs or future leaders in the new technological revolution we have begun to embark on.

The uses and amazing opportunities of the Blockchain are only beginning to live up to their potential. These students could be the ones to help to dramatically progress this digital revolution.
Hope that other countries would really make out that kind of consideration on where adding up crypto into their curriculum or just simply focusing directly with bitcoin.
This is the best part on where there are countries which do really see the important of the pro's of bitcoin rather than making themselves focus into its negative or cons.

I do also hope that my country would be offering or letting crypto to be part of the curriculum which would really fasten up the overall adoption and recognition.
This is something a good step which would really make things even more better in terms of exposure and awareness.

Learning more about bitcoinand how will you earn from bitcoin at the very young age is such a great blessing. If i am the parent of the following student, i will love it and proud of the school and government for letting them show how bitcoin works and how it is being used as of the moment

Wow. What a great news for Argentina. High schools consist of student with the age bracket from 10 -20 , their are students who falls in this age some of them won't find it easy to understand bitcoin lessons. For school to really impact knowledge on this high school student,  they should not make bitcoin education to be a compulsory subject for Students, students should choose based on the interest they have for bitcoin.

I wish if the same could be done in my country. The more we educate our youth and children about this bitcoin and crypto currecny, the better it will be for us and for our country.
Not only bitcoin should be taught at school, i think the blockchain programming should also be made as a part fo curriculum in higher classes. This also shows that our youth is interested to know and adopt bitcoin.
With the high rate of inflation in the world school don't need to teach students just only bitcoin,  it will be so important if school can teach students on how to make investments , how to save some money, and how to be an entrepreneur. School should give students that economy and business mentality,  not to depend on government for empowerment or job.  School should be able to teach students how to create business.
