Argentina is about to launch bitcoin education in their curriculum,  this is going to take place in 40 High schools with about 4,000 students.  This is  an Interesting news many  bitcoiners have been waiting for,  I think this won't just end in Argentina,  other countries will take this same good  within a short time.

Argentina  is the second highest  bitcoin  adopter in Latin America,  I the reason for the innovation is to make students  know  the importance of bitcoin. The economy of Argentina is suffering in the hands of hyperinflation.

Argentina has made a right track by chosing bitcoin to be included in their high schools curriculum, not that the students will only be aware about the importance of bitcoin, but they will also be capable of gaining financial independence in the future through the help of bitcoin. So it's something that the young minds should know, because if the present generation will fail in bringing up financial stability in our country's economic, then the hope will be pass thru in the next generation and knowing they have gained insights on bitcoin, then its will be easier for them to realize that.

40 high schools isn't as big of a step as some others did (for example, France added Blockchain and cryptos into the overall school curriculum, not as an experiment in a bunch of schools), but it's still better than nothing.
Exactly, it's way better than nothing because those students anyway will be able to understand and explain what bitcoin is also to their families, friends, etc, and we all have to start somewhere. Also I don't think it's fair comparing Argentina and France, we're talking about 2 completely different countries and economies.
Argentina have a population of around 46-47 million. Among this half the population is under the age of 30. This means what is being taught now will surely make a big impact in the countries upliftment through technology and economical growth. The country is experiencing hard corruption issues, and students through their learning can come up with a solution through the technology.

great to hear that they are starting early. most countries are integrating crypto and other blockchain related courses during their tertiary education. in time, with all these younger gen, they will be the front runners of their economy. i hope this initiative will eventually assist their country in addressing the corruption issues. we will see the impact in the next years to come. this gen may find better ways how to support themselves and uplift their economy for the better.

What high school? Junior high school or Senior high school? Or both?
I think Bitcoin is a proper education material for senior high school or university level, it is too early to introduce Bitcoin in Junior high school. Sure, it is good news that Argentina is going to have Bitcoin in its curriculum, but be careful about the risks to money management on Bitcoin investment or trading. Among 4000 students, must be some students who will try to buy and trade Bitcoin as they know it is very potential to gain big profits. The teachers must have a certain approach to prevent them from too high motivation in Bitcoin investment/trading, without sufficient knowledge and a good mentality to invest/trade. I a bit doubt that there will be thousands of students potentially suffering from losses after trying too early attempts on Bitcoin investment/trading.

Wow. What a great news for Argentina. High schools consist of student with the age bracket from 10 -20 , their are students who falls in this age some of them won't find it easy to understand bitcoin lessons. For school to really impact knowledge on this high school student,  they should not make bitcoin education to be a compulsory subject for Students, students should choose based on the interest they have for bitcoin.

High school could be something a bit more difficult, I believe that we should be teaching it to kids in college a lot more. There aren't crypto related classes in not every part of finance related college education. Sure there could be some classes here and there, but it is not for every single person and that is a bit of a problem.

I believe that the best we could do would be to put crypto related classes in all of the finance related college majors and that would be enough. Putting crypto into high school could be too early and I remember my high school years and it wasn't really that ideal and it took a while before I could really understand stuff.

Bitcoin Argentina, a non-profit organisation, has teamed with Paxful and the Built With Bitcoin Foundation to educate kids about the country's greater educational tools (Bitcoin). The initiative will help students understand the importance of Bitcoin and the differences between alternative money systems and standard fiat finance structures.

It's quite ironic yet very accurate that Argentina is now planning this, because no matter what they have done the problem of their hyperinflation has just not improved at all, this has just created problems in their daily life for such a country a deflationary currency is a really good idea for sometime atleast because the prices of the goods could stabilize as the mentality of the folks shift in the country.

Waw! Thats quite a number of students will be aware of btc very soon, and probably a good number will build a career in blockchain. This is such big news for the crypto community. Am sure this is something other countries will like to emulate. Better to start early to understand blockchain and btc. Very good

The people living in this country is wise because they know that bitcoin can save them from the hazards of hyperinflation, which makes them adopt bitcoin. It was mostly the adults or the parent that are using bitcoin but they also want their kids to know the importance of bitcoin, that is why they have this bitcoin education on schools. This is a good news but it wasn't new just in case you didn't know.

There are schools on other countries that already done this thing before but it's nice to know that after a long time, another set of schools in other countries have been added in the list. Indeed this won't end here knowing that bitcoin domination is still unstoppable.

It looks like they need to educate their young generations because of the surge of its popularity worldwide. They are the first to do this and it seems like they are promoting this kind of new curriculum to attract students from other schools to learn about the new era of the financial system. either way, this kind of promotion is good for the youngster's education since they are no longer looking for some information on the internet instead they are thought in school about in with legit professors.

This is another achievement for bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Good thing that in early age high school students will now be aware about bitcoin and how it works as an investment and as a currency. Who knows in the future they might be those people who will succeed from bitcoin and who will prove that bitcoin is worth to be a global currency in the future.

Following-up on what I previously wrote on the matter, what is still unclear to me still is how these projects really integrate with the attendant’s curriculum (the formal studies curriculum), if at all in formal terms.

I’ve gone over most of the video again, and there is no mention to this conforming the school curriculum (i.e. the project being allocated study hours from regular planned subjects). The Q&As session with school representative attendants were rather interested in brainstorming how to sell the project to school directors, as it does require some school resources.

I’ve asked on my local board if anyone from the country knows the degree of flexibility that schools have in terms of integrating these sort of initiatives into the formal curriculum (as opposed to it being a side project to be tackled during extra hours). Let’s see if anyone comes back on this issue.

Amazing decision from Argentina government because have 40 high schools launch bitcoin in their curriculum, they have try to teach their student or young generation to know about bitcoin on basic rule. Maybe when pass from senior high school they have knowledge for getting profit at the future with bitcoin for investing. I hope my country can adopt what did by Argentina government where make bitcoin as priority for young generation and give them chance to know detail with bitcoin as digital currency transaction.

That's a great step forward by the schools of Argentina to start adding a new curriculum for bitcoin and teaching bitcoin in the high school to the stents because after this, the student can have a better vision form the bitcoin world and surly teaching them about bitcoin this technology will make them intreated into bitcoin so if more school in other countries start doing the same thing for their students I guess this can attract more people and investors to it and we can see more demand on the market from micro investors with is good for bitcoin and people to know the technology of bitcoin, so I hope to see more schools in other countries doing the same thing.
Any news that do correlates with acceptance or integrations or adoptions would be always a good news and we would really be loving to see for it to be seen in future years to come where countries do really

recognize bitcoin and would really be adding it up on a curriculum which would definitely fasten up when it comes to exposure and popularity.Hope that they wont really be emphasizing about its cons, because if
we do really tend to see its benefits and advantages which do really outweighs its negative.

Nice initiative i would say yet this would really be adding or fastening up total exposure and awareness of its existence.

40 high schools isn't as big of a step as some others did (for example, France added Blockchain and cryptos into the overall school curriculum, not as an experiment in a bunch of schools), but it's still better than nothing. And I think the article is right to mention hyperinflation in Argentina as a part of the discussion because the argument is often that fiat is stable, whereas cryptos aren't, but that's not the experience of people in Argentina, and they might thus be more open to cryptos because they've seen the devastation of inflation.
With inflation above 50% in Argentina, I think they will soon accept bitcoin as legal.

While Bitcoin adoption in any shape or form is definitely great, let's not act as if bitcoin has been performing well in this inflation season lol. Though yea sure I guess if Argentina's 50% inflation continues multi-year or if it gets worse, then I guess bitcoin could still outperform their currency.
The inflation in Argentina hasn't been good for years, it's not just 2022. While not always 50%, neither is Bitcoin losing 50% every year, and it's not like 35% or 40% inflation is anywhere near normal.

This is really great for the younger people in Argentina, teaching curriculum has become really boring and uninteresting to students these days, some haven't been reviewed in almost a decade. The effect of this new inclusion in curriculum will be seen in a few years time as I believe that as a result of this we should be expecting to see an increase number of persons with expertise in bitcoin and blockchain technology. More schools in Argentina will follow this inclusion I believe,
