Well, currently I'm about to undertake a prospective study and start to invest in top-10 coins in a simultaneous manner. I won't single out any of them but will start to buy one each with some little of my salary. I'd recommend you do so if you want to know which ALTs to invest in. It's a safer bet.

Hmm good question. I think Veil, BNB, Zcoin, XOVbank and NPXS is good for long-term investment. This is just my opinion of course.

) but from alts I'd go with ONT, QUANT & 1 project from Europe, called "Yanu" (it is an fully autonomous bartender from the future

My choice is Etherium,Litecoin,Ripple and two any promising coins from top-100 such as Monero,Dash,Waves,Aion,Doge,Komodo,Monaco,Enjin and etc.
I would exclude Litecoin (Charlie he sold on highs and bought a bank - I don't believe such a Lee anymore), Ripple (scam), from the list, Waves,Aion,Doge,Komodo,Monaco,Enjin - I know nothing about these coins.
From the whole list, I trust only Monero - really decentralized and confidential coin, real - not a fork.
For now i don't choose many of coins because day by day there are upcomming coins releasing on exchange so that i can choos to invest and to see what's for their potential in the future.
I already have enough bitcoin but I want to expend my asset holdings into Altcoin. Now I'm a newbie and have no experience but that doesn't mean i will jump right into buying your suggested coins. A lot of the users are recommending BNB. I would avoid it like plague, at least until Binance conducts an audit of their wallet and accurately quantify the coins in their hot / cold wallets.

I would suggest coins that are in the top since a safer pick rather than investing on coins that are less known. It is because coins at the top of the market cap are more invested on, they circulate a lot which a healthier market I would say but talking about earning profits my choice of coins would be Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, LiteCoin and lastly, EOS.
personally i will choose binance token and litecoin as my mine portofolio this year.there are many reason behind my decision.litecoin halving and binance dex and launchpad will bring massive demand to this assets.
for binance coins I myself am indeed paying attention to its development. since the popularity of the IEO from binance which made BNB coin prices continue to increase. and I think it's still very likely to rise again. but i think you should add EOS, Cardano and IOTA in your portofolio for long term hodler
