Yes, i definitely agree with this. i would also add: A coin or token on few if not only one of the exchanges. Its the main reason why I like DeepOnion (ONION) so much. The devs are brilliant, they do weekly Q&A's, their idea is what people are looking for, low marketcap, on only one exchange for now, weekly airdrops (for now)

Lux coin 

Shift has very little volume compared to other alts. This was nothing more than a basic PND IMO.

there are many, I like IOTA, XMR, POWR, ADA, KMD, LSK, EOS, NEO, 

have a look at blockcat. it is relatively cheap now. the very low total amount of coins could make this thing moon any time

almost all the good project will make you a good amount
there are always more interesting projects
the interesting project lately are POWR ADA QSP SNM WTC

Cardano seems solid long term. No clue about Substratum. Waves will probably break out in the coming 1-3 weeks.

I think Substratum and cardano have a good future ahead.... what is your opinion on these coins ?
I invested a little with goot profits ant thinking of buying more.
Or should I use that money on other promising coins ?

Where did you finally invested your money?

20x is very possible in just 1 year. But I would recommend to diversify it to 2-4 coins. This reduces risk, maybe your #1 coin doesn't deliver but your #2-#3 coins do amazingly well. But don't diversify too much or you lose strength.

This was CoinMarketCap Top 10-12 coins 1 year ago (Dec 4, 2016). 8 out of 12 coins did more than x20.

Had you invested 3,000 on each of the Top 10 coins (a total investment of 30,000) you would make in a year (Dec 2016 to Dec 2017) a total of 30,000x32.4 = 972,000.

The higher the Market Cap of a coin, the harder the coin makes a big % profit. For instance, Bitcoin had 12 billions MCap and did "only" x15, while the next coins did x61, x40, x26, x40, x91...

This was just the Top-10 (going for the secure-conservative shot). But the biggest Top-100 gainers?

This was just Top-100 coins (by Dec 2016). Probably bigger gains on coins below the Top-100. VertCoin was 99th in the Rank and its total MarketCap was $660,390... under 1M!

I think it is very important to research coins with low market cap (< 100-200M). But I would invest part of the money on "Stable" coins (Top 25-50) with room to grow and part of the money on "Promising" coins with lower MarketCap and then huge possible profits.

As an example, just in November, this coin: POWER LEDGER did x13 (from $0.056 to $0.74). From Nov 1 to today! And POWR still has a MarketCap of $200M.

Why wait 2 years? Focus and try to make x20 in a year. Then next year's goal: another x10-20 (for a total of x200-x400). Why not 20M instead of just 1M?

Whether or not the coin would become overvalued depends on the coin. Most coins are overvalued regardless of their price, as they create no value and thus hold no inherent value themselves.

Nice strategy, there actually some projects whose values are around $3M and $5M, they worth an investment from my perspective. I collected some of them as long as I have money in my pocket. I suggest you the same thing.

For example, humaniq project.

Try to look for coins that has less than 10M marketcap, a 10-20 Jump would result the coin to have 100-200M which is not overvalued

I think 50k is definitely reasonable to become a millionaire in a couple of years. But that won't get you there fast. You need to have a good strategy and a plan on how to get there. First and most important thing will be not to put all your money into one coin. Which means you should be careful on what you invest your money in (that 50k). Make sure to be diversified, which means that you should hold several coins to avoid the risk of getting dumped (if you hold one coin and it "fails" your entire portfolio will "fail" as well). You can liquidate as well some of your holding during these years if you really need the money, but my recommendation would be that you don't do so, and try to hold as long as possible.

I think bitcoin make me a millionaire in 1-2 years, its obvious now because the price increasing so fast, you can invest half of your 50k USD in bitcoin then you should research on yourself about the good coin that have a potential to invest some of your money.

I think you should invest your money in Shift or Litecoin

The price of the coin is such a tiny factor in the calculation that it might as well be irrelevant from this perspective.

If you wanna become a millionare with $50,000 in 1 or 2 years, I think you have to choose cheap coins with price is under $0.1. Stellar, Funfair and Digibyte are my choices.

why?
look at the team and partnerships
the goals
the high level cryptography and technology
its fresh and still listed only in 1 exchange.. not USD pairs...

do your own research, but its the one i like the most =]
