That's the STeX technology paper.   Smiley

Can also be downloaded directly from their site here:
https://stex.exchange/media/pdf/stex_technology.pdf

It's just a one page document. Well worth taking a look.
It explains the Decentralization setup, Crypto-security, Speed and Horizontal scaling.

That paper is very interesting. does not look like it is easily available on the website.

When will SteX exchange be applicable to fiat transactions in the future?

Possibly in 3-5 years.

From WP:

Smart Token Exchange Ltd was incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,
due it being the fastest jurisdiction in which to incorporate that kind of business.
However, to be able to make fiat deposits and withdrawals, we need to
incorporate legal entities in the EU, USA and many other countries, and get all
the necessary licenses according to the local laws and regulations.

We expect this process to be completed in 3-5 years from
launch. Many procedures must be in place including well
trained staff to fit regulators requirements.

🚀 STeX Exchange Alpha release is scheduled to March 27, 2018 14:00 GMT

i trust they'll get this delivered in time. Nick Prays has got it under control, i'm sure.

What was it really nick working with before he started stex exchange?

From WP:

From 2013 until present, Nick has been working on lead generation service in VK
social network
(Electron(NodeJS) + Python(Django) + MySQL). As well as
optimizing high load systems to work with databases having billions of entries in
social graphs.

Another fascinating fact is that one of the STeX advisers (amongst them; Serguei Popov, one of the founders of IOTA) is Gigi Janelidze. Janelidze is the Ex Art Director / Lead Designer for Yandex and Head and co-founder of the TOPOS Studio. He will advise on how to build STeX EXCHANGE tools and interfaces with a user-first approach, which is pretty cool. Excited about that.

i'm sticking with STE as i'm just interested in the dividend payouts, but that's me.

Same here. I got in on the STE presale and I'm mostly interested in passive income with these things. It does look like I'll be getting A2A anyway though, since dividends by the looks of it will be paid out 30% ETH and 70% A2A.

I used the whitelist, but wish I was earlier outside. Prices are drastically changed from presale.

In my opinion, Binance is the biggest competitor of Stex Exchange  Cheesy

Binance is the biggest crypto exchange - period - these days.
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Impressive considering Binance is only 6-7 months old.

it is indeed impressive. their coin BNB also grew massively. Binance Coin (BNB) started off on around 10 cents at the end of july 2017, then went to 25 usd in mid january 2018. BNB is currently at 10.43. i remember selling off some of my portfolio to get into Covesting.

what's this i hear about A2A? a new utility token?

I found a good answer for this.

The question was:

What is the A2A token used for?

The answer:

A2A tokens are used as an intermediary in every trade on STeX using A2A
technology. The problem is that while working with hundreds of different assets,
you need a measurement system to evaluate all the tokens in order to create
cross-rates, calculate commissions, do all the internal accounting. So, we used an
additional token for that purpose. It was designed with self-balancing supply
capabilities ruled by the smart contract on the Ethereum network and internal
market making pool in other currencies on STeX platform.

Furthermore, we have a promotional system to attract users and make their
trading activities more profitable (especially, for active traders who may suffer
from turnaround commissions).

By mixing these two concepts together, we have created a STeX utility token
named A2A after the technology Any2Any that we invented and used to create
10,000 cross-rates.

The additional utility function of this token is to provide an easy to account tier
system for commission discount for all users on the STeX exchange. There are no
passive income opportunities, no profit sharing in the A2A token, and, at the same
time, it should be very attractive for the users to buy, use and hold in order to get
extra discounts and unlock the professional features on STeX which will be
available only for professional traders with a sufficient amount of commissions
paid to the system.

good answer, thank you. personally i'm sticking with STE as i'm just interested in the dividend payouts, but that's me. however there's clearly a good chance that the A2A tokens could rise in value over time.

You can send eTH from any ethereum wallet type excluding an exchange wallet. You can use any wallet manager because they all use the same underlying ethereum hardware where your actual wallet is located. Do not use exchanges wallets.

aye. never ever participate in ICOs sending ETH from exchanges. most exchanges will not give you the tokens.

I did this once. the lesson learned.

i almost did that early in the game, but luckily i got the memo early on, so i avoided that. had i not i probably would've participated in my first ICO from Coinbase. btw Coinbase seems to having a tough time atm. even more than usual. a lot of complaints coming in on their Reddit right now. apparantly VISA did some changes that caused Coinbase users to be charged double. can you imagine? what a mess.

In other words, for those who want dividends, it is best to stick to STE.

That's right.

For those wanting a piece of the pie in the dividend distribution, they need STE tokens.

I hear that the release date on alpha release is set to March 27? is this actually the case?

For those wanting STE there is the whitelist at http://stex.exchange/stewhitelist.

is there a whitelist for A2A?

Doesn't look like it. Will get back to you on that.

thanks. and no, if there was i'd expect a stex.exchange/a2awhitelist, but nothing there. only stex.exchange/stewhitelist

There is an official A2A STeX.Exchange group on Telegram now: https://t.me/stex_official
