This guy doesn't know what he is saying, are you from North Korea? well Technologies are emerging better to study more on economics and products movements of any country. Countries with higher corruption tend to have manipulation in the market. I'm going to say that your spreading FUD for everyone. Bitcoin will never fail and it will continously to grow.

I'm not sure that your pecrcentage claim is even accurate. So what's the use of having laptops, iPad / Tablet, and gadget the we usually hold in our hands which is mobile phones? Actually, it's really hard to conclude that Bitcoin would fall due to difficult accessibility. Especially now, that the world is now taking the path of innovation, almost every household now has cellphones. Also, I don't see that the reason is inaccessibility, but lack of interest rather. There are people who knew about Bitcoin but hesitated to invest because it's risky. Additionally, it takes technical skills or familiarization with using the internet especially investing into cryptocurrencies

I think you are trying to say that bitcoin will fail to become a mainstream currency because 60% of the world population don't have access to the computer. If I am understanding you correctly, then let me assure you that bitcoin is not structurally built and fit for becoming a mainstream currency in any way. It is an experimental virtual currency which implemented the idea of a decentralized currency successfully for the first time through blockchain technology. It is not trying to become a mainstream one.

So bitcoin will always be used by those with a certain level of technological expertise  and not by any common people. Even though the process for bitcoin payment has been made very simpler by many third party wallet provider, but majority of the governments will not want to allow bitcoin to mingle with their own centralized currency system. It is and will always remain as a digital currency and an excellent store of value.

Yh thanks for the deep clarification.moreover the fact that 60% of world population cannot access the PC doesn't justify that bitcoins will fall.you should bear in mind that technology keeps on expanding on a daily bases and people are been introduced to the computer age as well.just over some few ago only a hand full knew about btc but compare it to today and see the vast adoption.

The world is ruled by the less than 1% of its population and what? This is poor data even if it is right to define if the new or cut-edge tychnology could be adopted or not.

I guess you have a confused vision of what is Bitcoin and which is its purpose. Bitcoin has not been created to "become the world's new money", but to explore the possibility of a decentralized form of money. So it cannot fail because it has no clear mission nor precise purpose.

...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.

Well, you do know that the world doesn't stop rotating right? Well the same thing goes with the things that are in it. Which is us humans and the progress we have with different kinds of technologies. Clearly, in the next few years, fast and reliable internet connections will really be able on remote areas also. which is why we really cannot say that bitcoins will fail. And even when it does, I really do not think that having only 40% of people that have internet will even matter because problems like this can really be easily solved by great innovations with the support of great country leaders all over the world.

It's quite obvious that a lot people has limited access to computer particularly in Africa and Asian country and this had really hampered the growth of bitcoin however this cannot make bitcoin to fail due to the fact more countries are adopting it.

This is like a funny joke. Bitcoin is created since 2010 when the population using Internet was a lot smaller than nowadays. And it keep growing up since this date without any real issues, the situation now is really better, and even the people who haven't computers, can use their smartphones easily to access their wallets.

another zero merit poster proving why merit kinda works.

there is a giant, vast incentive to get as much of the rest of the world online as possible and you can bet that it's being worked on right this very second. on top of that you have the blockstream bitcoin satellite network too.

elon musk is planning to smother the world with internet from space - https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/nov/17/elon-musk-satellites-internet-spacex

google is experimenting with balloons that broadcast the internet - https://x.company/loon/

and plenty more. and smartphones are slowly spreading to every corner of the world. put the two together and there will be majority coverage for everyone in the world within a few years.

Do not care about people who currently can not access the computer because bitcoin has a market different from the others. People who do not want to access computers are the ones who do not want to develop themselves to be more advanced. Without technology, a country as strong as any will not be able to flourish. However, the technology that is now widely created should be exploited wisely without causing harm to some parties.

That's crap. Most people have access to cellphones and they can connect to the internet. You wouldn't need every be to have internet access they can simply use a friend's phone or have their employer handle their cryptocurrency and pay it out in fiat where needed. Please stop talking such crap and making up things k thank bye.

The fact that most of the population does not have computers, this can not mean that the bitcoins will crash. This currency is almost 10 years old and if the lack of computers could have affected this, it would have happened 5 years ago.

Buy, sell and store real cryptocurrencies
I see this as an opportunity for Bitcoin to reach the 60% of the population. Thanks for the information.

I think even computer may phase out someday because people are using mobile device more and more. Let's just say computer will still be dominant device, the only trend is that more people will use it in the future. So this shouldn't lead to the conclusion that Bitcoin will fail.

I assume that over time, the bitcoin system will become a bit simpler, and to use it as a currency it will be enough just a smartphone. And with this in the world is a little easier. But it still takes a long time, many, many years.

You think too narrowly.
Who even decided that this will prevent the strengthening of the crypto currency in the world?
At a minimum, this is available to many people around the world.
And though not all people, but already some people use it.
Sooner or later it will come out to the masses, and the lack of a computer is not a problem.

OMG 40% of world population is 3,040,000,000 people and you think bitcoin will fail because "only" 3 billion people can access computers.
Do you ever think before you post?

Yes, you are right, the imperfection of technical support around the world is an obstacle to the spread of bitcoin as a currency. And it can only be real in a few decades. Computers after all not so long ago appeared in our life, time that they appeared at each inhabitant of a planet is necessary.

It's okay. 90% of the world can access a smartphone. So they can still get a mobile wallet.
