Most of the ICOS campaigns now give the investor a sense of fear because they raise money and then hug the money and run away. So now to identify good ICOS campaigns is very difficult for us.

You might be right though but I still thinks hunters these days do want  something  sudden and never had patience for ICOs to be fully established.

I think all ICO projects always take a long time to achieve its success. And on average many people judge too early until they make the decision that such a project is a fraud. The reason may be because they continue to lose money because they can not wait to get profit quickly.

Many ICO are scam but not 80%.  many of them are failed to reach their target sale that I is why they have to declare as a failed ICO sale. It is not considered as scam because many failed ICO give back the investors money to avoid legal case that could bring them in jail.

I have read news like that, but it makes the price shocks in the market go down, and makes the government confused, so that regulations and laws are made ..

Yes, that's right that most of the ICO are scams. But everything in this world works the same for me. 80% of the people whom I contact with are also scams. This is the truth... But this makes this world more interesting, cause you have to chose who to work with and what to invest

It must not  become that  time-consuming to notice a fraud ITO, simply test the experts and their basic backgrounds in detail and choose if these look convincing.

I do not believe that 80% of ICO are scammers. I am sure that at the initial stage all ICOs - start honestly and do not think to deceive. Unfortunately, there are fewer investors for a large number of ICOs.

Yes, agreed. You need to be careful while investing on alt coins. Always do the research, I had a bad experience with one of the ICO where my investemnt stands at 90% loss. Project is dead. Lips sealed Lips sealed

I think not everything is so bad in the field of ICO and next year many projects will present finished products that will be supported by millions of users. We just need to wait a little and give the ICO organizers a chance to prove their worth.

Both ICOs and Airdrops are currently scam, it is not entirely their intention to make a scam. But it is also due to natural conditions that make it difficult for them to reach predetermined sales targets. They experienced difficulties in marketing their products because the crypto community experienced a decrease in interest in buying due to the decline in market prices. This makes them doubt the quality of the product will be able to compete in the market or not.

I think 60% ico is a scam, and you have to be selective in choosing ico. because you only have a little chance to get a good ico. and you have to put your luck in choosing ico.

I hope that in the near future such projects will be much less, and the team will be criminally responsible for the fraud project.

No doubt there are lots of scam ICOs. I have even come across some of them and i was perplexed at the rate at which some investors fell victim of the scam. We need to carry out proper study on every project.

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

Yeah, truly there's a lot of Scams ICO launching together with some good ICO but  I doubt Its reach 80% of  scammers. So we crypto users must be aware of that to do nit make victim of those scammers. We should read carefully and knis about the projetc before Investing or join In such a campaign.
