I'm using Win 10

first navigate to this folder;

C:\Users\separ\AppData\Roaming\SweepstakeCoin       -----> the separ is my name, yours will be different.

create a sweepstakecoin.conf (Make sure you don't have .conf.txt, it must be a .conf file) using notepad and copy and paste the following; (enter whatever you want for rpcuser and rpcassword without the quotes.)

save file. exit out of folder. Restart your Wallet and see if it starts syncing. If not let me know Ill see if I can help further.

Just start to mine, but it seems that the wallet i have doesn't work, it never reach any connections....

Dev, I sent you MP, you can check please, requesting the miner's version for sweep, and the invitation for the slack

so would we ...

but will not even attempt until we have everything stable - and can prove it ... even if it means there is no sweepstake at the moment ...

for ANY exchange to really trade well with any coin - the daemon must be rock solid and able to handle the transactions its built for ... this coin can handle the transactions - and VERY quickly at that ... but it has had a hiccup of forking before the sweepstake code was removed ... so we need to make sure that if we approach cryptopia - we need to have the solid history of the coin behind it as well ...

in saying that tho - its been making many many transactions at lightning speed - and not missing a beat ...

now to create the backbone for it and have the seednodes sorted - and we will be ready to apply for inclusion - and pay ...

yes - and yes ...

the wallet code itself will be the same - the next revision will only have the CWI-SeedNodes implemented ...

this will make for a much faster smoother sync than before ... at least that 'should' be the case ...

the next release of the wallet will be soo after we get the pool running ... with the seednodes hardcoded ...

there will be no changes in the blockchain - so the same 1.3.0.0 wallets should all work ...

we should have our pool running shortly also - just need to get the stratum working with the daemon ...

Mined a few M sweepstake coins from the beginning. I like this coin for its short round time thus fast transaction is possible. Sold half of my coins since the orig dev gone AWOL. Glad to see CWI team took over this project and will definitely keep a close eye on this.

SWEEP has been added to http://steamoctanepool.com - one of the fastest new pools on the net!

Use your wallet address as your username, and c=SWEEP as you password.

Sample config below

Pool fee's are currently at 1%.  Once we get over 50 miners on this coin that will drop to 0.5%!

so we can mine on yiimp right now and use the vr 1.3 wallet with no problem for futures updates? will be a new wallet soon?

the next revision of CWIgm though WILL have the jha algo - and we hope that we will have the pool ready for it in time ...

we HAD to acquire a coin with an algo that has a slightly different way of working with stratum - didnt we? ... ...

Hey dev, are you planning not to have some bounties in the near future, I still don't find any on the front page.

most miners will work with the pool ...

when it is up and running of course - except for ccminer-spmod - as he coded a block on all our pools via the domain ... which can be easily fixed with two edit lines in windows ...

we hope to have this pool running in the coming days ...

that IS where you got our miner from - isnt it? ... by sending me a pm - and i send you the welcome pack - which has pretty much ALL the instructions in it ... you know - that thread and package ... right? ... ...
