Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.
A fully decentralized world cannot exist for a long time. Humanity in its development has gone through this more than once. Therefore, there is a saying that one who does not want to feed his army will be forced to feed someone else's. Decentralization in public life means complete anarchy. How then can you control your property, your money, if any group of armed people can enter your house and take away any property, including your cryptocurrency computer? Are you going to hire your own private army for this?
The government, the army, the police are still necessary, as are certain rules of conduct in society.

Stealing things from people who live in decentralized world will be made difficult.
There will be stuff like alarms, Cameras will be watching, there will be very tough defenses, and quick means of escape (known to only the citizens) . Things will be reordered frequently to make detecting this security secrets very difficult.
Besides, having too much physical properties will be discouraged amongst the citizens. The properties should be easy to move around and easy to decoupled..
Much of our wealth will be in decentralized world, so that they can't be easily stolen. Decentralized Insurances will also help incase of theft or accidents

The bitter truth is that total decentralisation can never be achieved, centralized authorities will always fight back to be in control.  Why do you think crypto adoption is questionable? Everything boils down to the fact that decentralisation is the major issue here. The government want to always control your funds and watch your spending. My bank account was frozen two weeks ago (although now unlocked) because I received a whooping sum, which was meant to kick-start and offline project. We look to seeing a day when at least majority of people will appreciate decentralized systems.

I think part of our lives in the future can be decentralized but not everything. There are many projects like infrustractures can't be done by fully decentralized units. Centralized power is much stronger than a single unit.

I wish it could be. But who knows if that can really happen - full decentralization of the whole world... for now, it just sounds like a dream, a fairytale which all people believe in and desparately strive for it.

I think the order will be chaotic if that would happen. Even though no one would regulate the money that is circulating in the world, it would increase the possibility of having greed and scams occur more likely. We should not dream about having a decentralized world, instead we should look forward on having a more proper monetary system regulated by the government. We will be like animals set free on the wild, abusing our freedom and denying other people's welfare.

You could if you live a nomadic kind of lifestyle. I doubt most people would like that kind of lifestyle. Some people like myself are probably born nomads. We will only have to rely on centralized internet to
1. Link our citizens surveillance cameras to decentralized web cam streaming sites
2. Browse the internet
3. Make calls
4. Use Blockchain services etc

So the internet will remain centralized until we find decentralized ways to access those services. If using the internet becomes difficult for nomads, we could come up with alternatives ways to communicate with the rest of world.

A fully decentralized system may turn out to be chaotic. Security will be a big issue then.  If someone got cheated or theft then what he will do? whom he will complain? You don't want to be controlled by the gov but who is going to build a road for you. The situation will not go in any positive direction.  The rich people will rule the world virtually ( yes, of course, they are still ruling but now we have an option to blame the gov.)

We can make it in part, but not entirely, we still need the government to govern some part of our society but decentralization is something we all want to achieve in some part of our lives, I think it is attainable in the future there are some areas that we can let the government control some areas that we can employ decentralization.
Why not let them coexist together, I like the idea of separating jurisdictions if government will allow this to happen and let decentralization to exist while government rules are also active along side with this system. If freedom can be enjoyed by those responsible people who can deal with decentralization without ruining the system.

We do want to have decentralized system where we can freely deal without compromising our identity, but due to government laws there's also
an obligation to be a responsible citizen so best  to have separations between this two..

Full decentralization can be difficult. I think leaving humanity to live as it wishes would be the end of humanity. Without rules, everybody kills each other. But, decentralization may belong to some directions.

To achieve this, humanity should be ready for it, because now all systems need to be changed radically to be implemented. Also we need time to adopt, just leaving it in time will bring us to the right path.

I think a decentralised world becomes viable when storing entire blockchains on devices is made possible through an increase in device memory.

However, one thing centralised institutions do offer are: insurance policies, user-friendly interfaces and new features. All of which improve quickly, due to available funding.

But the benefits might one day be few and far between, given the amount of talent working on decentralised applications right now.

No. We can only achieve decentralization to a specific factors but not a fully decentralized world. Governments and even most people won't agree to that idea. We want bitcoin to be accepted globally but that doesn't mean we're aiming for a decentralized world. That's very unlikely to happen. If that happens, possibly there would be no world peace
You want the government to admit it, but you also know what the big impact will be.

Bitcoin brought decentralization from the start and this will always be in conflict with conventional systems. I only predict one thing where one party must start supporting and changing the most appropriate system for economic integration, and this will also be a heated debate from the capitalists in each coming year.

I think it’s never possible which you asking a regarding fully decentralised world. Definitely, first of all government is the big obstacle i think. Although right now many countries are totally decentralised which countries are got legalization. Government try to control our money because of only if you will able to control it’s illegal and there are a lot of possibility to money laundering this is the point of view in government. That's why you can't expect full world will be decentralised in the future.

Governments want to control our money by printing new ones. So, with a decentralized world, we will not have these issues. This is one of the main reasons for us to use crypto currencies. So, we need a decentralized world for Bitcoin to succeed.

If people succeed to choose decentralized, government will not be the big issue of this. however we need everyone to understand it that we need decentralization to over it. but non of us will think positive result about it. so its very difficult to take a move of it now. better that everyone will agreed that this actions will take the result we wanted.

I don't think this idea of a fully decentralized world is possible and the government won't allow it to happen because there will be a lot of downsides that will surely mess up the whole economy. First of, if everyone will be free from the grip of the government, so many legal issues will be raised, for everyone including the criminals will be free and will be able to do execute their crimes as if it was legal. Another thing is, people won't surely  be using anythin related to the governments manipulation that will lead to the economic downfall.

I think it is impossible for the world to implement a fully decentralized, because we live there are times when it must be controlled by
government. If every world citizen wants freedom, and does not want to be regulated by the state, chaos can occur. This is very dangerous
if left unchecked, if everyone does not want to be regulated then what is the function of government. Let life's harmony occur must be
balanced between centralization and decentralization. Sometimes we cannot be selfish in living life, there are certain moments we must yield
for good. I hope we can all mature in thinking, we can fight for freedom. But we must know are limits.

Nothing is impossible, everything can give a chance to happen. Cryptocurrencies could be the center when it comes to economics, investment or business. Since cryptocurrencies are never get old and still on the process of becoming more profitable.

Technically, the main advantage of crypto to other financial asset is it being dynamic, it is not too hard ro improve or develop so, whenever incase a breach happen, it can be supplied with endless possible solutions.

With regards to the world being decentralized, it is better if we can think of options that we will use as backbone other than utulizing the technology behind cryptocurrency which is the blockchain. In this case we fully manage a network which suits different areas from finance, to other assets.

I think so. Everyone would govern themselves and each other. We would all have crypto from all kinds of companies so will all have access to the things that would normally become available from taxes. Instead of wasting time going the tax route, that money(crypto) is placed directly back into development and thus new roads can be built and things can be repaired. The number of tokens you have will determine how many dividends you get out of each company and you will work and ear the tokens or coins of whatever that company is. Like working for fixing the road will give you stocks(crypto) in all road work and depending on how it does you will get dividends.

The society has services like water, electricity, internet... and for those services, we need a provider, and that's the problem, we can decentralize those services, maybe they could start accepting bitcoin payment but the way they work is centralized, if you don't pay your bills they will just cut the service. I think this is one obstacle to decentralization.

That is the problem and that's why I don't think everything should be decentralized. Imagine, for example if we were truly democratic, we would have to rely on socialism for people to help those who could not afford these services.

Imagine if we have a marketplace with prices for profit. How will poor people afford? Still need centralized person to decide who to help.

Theoretically, it's pretty easy to say that such a world can exist but the problem is even in such a world there wouldn't be complete decentralization but there would be a complete capitalism which means the companies which owns the larger share in the world economy will begin to dominate us politically too while we on the other hand would become helpless and would have no option than to surrender ourselves to these big capitalists. For example if Elon Musk in your example decides to shut down the Satellite at his own wish no one can really do anything about it.
