It is a good thought however we required to think in various directions, if you expect a fully decentralized world then how do you face a situation when you are supposed to make a payment in an unknown city who do not know you and your digital asset turned off due to no charging Huh also imagine the shop keeper is very aggressive.

It is not possible, it is a dream.
There is not only negative side of control over money and transfers but also legitimate reasons why governments need to do it. The biggest one is money laundering, we all live in countries and countries give us different kind of services which are financed by our taxes. Therefore there is need for control and centralisation.

Perhaps if you are living in a deserted island because you don't like someone would control what you are doing. But the things that you wished to be decentralized is still being controlled by the government because everyone should cooperate in order to live the life that you wanted.

No,because government agency and banks will not allow that to happen. Even crypto is legal in some countries it is still impossible to have a fully decentralized world because still government has a full authority over it. We have rules and regulation to follow.

Can we truly have a fully decentralized system? For example, we control our own money, properties, internet etc. If we can, how can we achieve this and what obstacles can we face? I want to control my money and I don't want my government to control what I see on the internet. There are ways of overcoming some of these but the whole internet is coming from the ISPs. We may have a satellite(Elon Musk) for internet which makes the decentralization easier for us.

No, there will be no absolute decentralized system.  Thanks to the government for that.  Even on the early age, community had been centralized through the rulings of elders, or cheif. Centralized system had been a practiced way back so thinking about decentralization to happen now is just throwing a punch to the moon.  The current situation of Bitcoin adoption now can atest to that. Things will always bound to centralization.  See third party apps over decentralized Bitcoin, government regulation and AML with regards to cryptocurrency.

First of all, the central powers that is government and central banks wouldn't let this happen because of the conflict of interest. Plus the decentralized economic model won't work because of the difference in purchasing power among countries. Even if a the world goes decentralized, there will be a few with majority of the asset which again gonna create difference in income which is not a successful working model for the world.

I think it is not possible. In my opinion, governments will decide to make their own digital fiat money. Governments won't be willing to make their currency a volatile and uncontrollable cryptocurrency I think.

A thousand years ago, the world was decentralized. But as more people populate the planet, inevitably governments form. Armies form. Then rules and regulations.

Anything big that involves more than a handful of people, or things that have relatively greater value than just your typical groceries, such as vehicles and real estate properties will have some form of centralization.

The fact you are a citizen of a particular country, you are part of a centralized database.

Now, there could be some compromise, as usually government leave you alone, if you leave them alone, depending on the type of government or even private corporations. We all try to exist in this world, we have to get along with each other.

What you're saying is almost impossible. We cannot live in a fully decentralized world where everything we do is in our own control and no one would be controlling us at any aspect. Unless everything you do, use, and such are your own. If each and everyone can create and make their own internet, money, things, then you control your own. But since you're in a country govern by someone higher than you, and you're using something you didn't make, then they can still control you . It's possible if you have your own country where you're the only one living there. But you know the saying, "no man is an island"? We cannot live by our own. With only ourselves. We always need someone to help us, to accompany us, and such.

It is possible indeed, but also people's atitiudes must change in order to embrace this kind of new paradigm shift. We talk about a transfer of wealth, caring and including the poor and the Unbanked, yet at the same time, we hack, steal, cheat and scam our fellow crypto workers and investors, like no tomorrow. Unless the people on this Planet become nicer, we cannot welcome such an ideologically sound world. We need first to cultivate empathy and compassion for our fellow human beings. in order to usher in this kind of change.

Decentralization can be important for some reasons and be preserved when it does not collide with politics and the powers that be. Crytocurrency can be considered not be absolutely decentralized and places like internet can still be a fair platform for decentralized system. Brexit is a form of reaction to decentralization, at some point some people with exploit their advantage in the space, what the whales are doing in the space does not support the purpose of decentralization. They just manipulate, we dont want the government but we have the whales.

I don't think that a fully decentralized world is possible. Cryptocurrency market will come to much better levels in the future and they will start to replace fiat money. But I don't think that governments will accept a full decentralization. There will be regulations and maybe they will create a new system that won't let the full control go from them.

Not everyone can have their own satellite, not everyone can have their properties and so the complete decentralized world is not possible. We may control our money by ourselves if we adopt to cryptos but still its not going to be complete decentralized since we have to pay those coins to some merchant if we want to buy something.

No, we cannot have our own satellites for sure. Please check Elon Musk's Starlink project. It is providing internet to the world through many satellites. There may be an ICO offering decentralized internet through satellites. Well, governments may shoot these satellites in the space if they want to block our internet but it is very unlikely. For a decentralized world, we need a decentralized ISP definitely.
Still the internet service provided by the private company right then how it can be considered as decentralized.

Sorry if I don't get your point.

We can't decentralize all things, and we shouldn't. There are a lot of aspects in our lives that work a lot better if they are centralized. No control, which means everyone can do everything. Just imagine the whole world population to be like this. It won't work.

We are on the very early days of decentralized world. Right now very few countries have been making themselves advanced through the blockchain technology which is the key factor that drives a decentralized network. I came across Estonia which has got its entire government administration integrated to the blockchain technology providing transparency in each and everything happening with the government.

People want freedom and they want to enjoy it but they are going to be restricted to the many services that they need in their lives, the government will always fight for control to maintain orderliness and peace and they are going to succeed in some area but not all, so are people who want to be decentralized, they will try to fight it but they cannot win in some areas.
It's better that we have both centralization and decentralization in some areas.

That is hard to imagine. If we will shift to a decentralized system all over, we will have anarchy. The most powerful mob will rule. You erase centralized governments and you will come up with a country, if it can still be called such, without peace and order. It is always nice to imagine absolute freedom without any kind of control from the outside. But be careful what you wish for, that is a double-edged sword. By nature, people need control.

You want absolute freedom in terms of property without legal titles, deeds, government records, etc? In a day or two from now, your house will be forcibly taken from you from someone else much stronger than you. You want absolute freedom with the internet? Our web will be full of hackers, pedophiles, selling of drugs, arms, illegal services, etc.

I say regulation is the key. A regulation that favors the people.
Exactly mate, it wouldn't work in a regular world and it'll be much too chaotic. The strongest group or person would win, and without a centralized system, crime would run rampant and businesses could literally do anything, it would be a huge mess.

Absolute freedom would never actually work, there are too many external factors and while the government is really stupid at the time, it is still needed and a world where the government doesn't do stupid shit is better than a free world.

We live in a centralized world, all serious attempts to create decentralization will be spotted at the highest levels of government. How do you think the government of all countries relates to decentralization?
Where there is decentralization, there is no government. Therefore, this simply cannot be done. Cryptocurrency allows us to some extent get away from the part of state control, but we are all exactly inside the system that will always resist such changes.

We already have a decentralization bitcoin system.
Everything that goes under a government must comply with applicable rules, so it can't be fully decentralized under centralized states.

I think decentralising property related matter is complicated. actually, confusing. How can property be managed on blockchain. Something like the sending the property doc to the address of the buyer? When we do not know who holds the address then how can we figure out to whom does the land belong.

Totally true but if i remember correctly one of the real estate project that i encounter have a combination of centralized and decentralized system for managing the properties. centralized is used for verification of the documents for each property before listing on their platform then decentralized comes in whenever you make a purchase or rent of a property.
