Losing is a bad feeling, people react to it differently and it depends on how big the loss is and how much it meant to the person Losing it.

I feel bad for the family and close people of this person,  it is very difficult to lose someone close to suicide. We can't blame anyone for committing suicide because we don't really know what are the true reasons that pushed them to do such act. Now $3k is a big number it could've meant a lot to him as well.
We known that Gamblers can do crazy things when they lose especially when the losses keeps coming consecutively, this person might have reacted in a moment of rage leading him to put an end to his own life.
It is very sad and unfortunate, life is worth more than $3k to be honest. This could be a lesson for other gamblers to be more aware of their own actions and learn how to control themselves in moments like this, and especially to learn how to gamble and to never put an amount of money in betting that you can't afford losing.

Even many think gambling is free money but still its risky and all can't hold this all with I personally have many times incidents like these while we check peoples have heart-attack or other serious problems due to big loses in gambling because they were over-confident about their win and at the end they lost big amount which hurt them badly.
In this case we have same thing he was sure about the win but at the end having lost, and then he committed this which is another dilemma for the rest of family and community just because of this we want some better things about this all because without guides we can lose and also can go through for the worst ever things which are surely never been good deal for any person.
You and I have watched folks bet their hearts out just to have them symbolically ripped out. Sorry, no metaphors. Suppose they have an empty bag. Gambling confidence is like thinking you can outwit a shark. You cant. Its their territory. And the house? The house is the biggest shark. When they lose, people look like deer in the headlights. Its cruel.

Remember the true victims: the families and communities left to rebuild. The gambler loses, as does everyone else. Indeed, without guidance and a good strategy, the risks arent worth it. fThe answer? Knowledge, awareness, and possibly self-control. Making better choices, knowing when to fold, and recognizing that the only safe bet is not betting is key. How's that for reality?

$3k is quite a lot of money but I don’t think that it is enough for someone to take their life. Are we sure that the money was actually his? Could it be that he couldn’t face the owner of the money? If I lost my money, even if it was my last $100k I wouldn’t hurt myself because it’s my money and I don’t have to start paying back.

Anyway, it is sad that he couldn’t even bear the loss yet he gambled. I wish that people would be less greedy and if you must be greedy, be ready to lose the money. It’s a gamble for goodness sake! What was he expecting?!

No matter how the case may be,I don't see enough reason to why someone should end his life. Although it is challenging sometimes when we play gamble with huge amount of money and yet the game does play. But ending ones life is neither the solution to it. Life is so precious to die for gambling, let us not play gamble and forget that we can do without gambling. It is a painful expirenced we should not try. I am so angry seing this image, because it look so fake to be real. but the sad truth is that he has passed on. What a world where people don't know what they want or the reason behind their existence. We should be more careful in staking what we can't afford to lose. And this is just the typical example.

Actually this is not the one news we will find a lot of news like this in every year. I have read one article that there mention that 17% gambler addicted gambler have attempt sui*cide. Even then in my neighbourhood I saw kind of same thing of this news. There the addicted gambler also take his life because he got into a large debts and he knows that he can afford that and that is why he also attempted suici*de. That's why I always suggest that take a look about your afford then go for gambling as much as you can afford to loose.

When someone loses in gambling, it has a negative effect on his mind, many people can control it, while those who invest extra money in gambling, which they cannot afford to lose, suffer a lot and lose control over themselves and hesitate to make wrong decisions.  does not  Gambling is a very bad addiction so it should always be used in a limited way.  And if someone panics and starts gambling then he will have to face a very difficult situation at some point
Gamblers can't control themselves when they lose, so they become addicted to winning and focus on gambling again and again, causing them to lose money. Many people may think that they will earn money overnight by gambling but this is not the case. If luck favors many, of course they can earn money by gambling. By living, the thought of making money by gambling should be removed and everyone should be against gambling, so that the society and family will be better.

Numerous things that the news or story didn't tell about the victim regarding the major reason why he did go that extent of committing suicide after such a massive loss, one could have the reason that could cause is if the victim took a risk on this bet and unfortunately lot it all, now may have thought of a way to pay back and realizing that there is no hope of getting another money to pay back or some can take loses too extreme that he could not bear the loss, but however there's no amount of reason that worth taking your life when you lose heavily. This is why it is very important to stick to what you can afford to lose, else this victim wouldn't have taken his life.
This life comes with its own struggles, there's absolutely no rest in this world. Well, I understand from the angle you're moving and I must say, it's well deserved points clearly stated out. Most of these gamblers have no time to settle for lesser results but the ones they're facing should be winning and not losing. Remember losses breaks down gambler's mental health, causing them to think other things such as selling their properties to gamble, because most of them do triggered the borrow money option simply because they have strong faith when it comes to gambling.

This is what's going to happen if you use the money that you can't live without in gambling. Having regrets for not being able to accept the result that can turn to depression if the gambler take it seriously. Suicide is not the solution if you're in such situation (not just in gambling but all problems that seems hard to resolve). The reason why don't try to gamble if you're not prepared for the worse because gambling is a game of luck and chances to lose your money is very high.

Many gamblers (especially newbies) think that gambling is the answer to earn money in snap because it seems easy. But that's not how it works since you can't profit if you're not lucky. Before playing, exert an effort to research because gambling is not for people who can't handle the worse that can happen if you lose your money.
The fact is that some players do not want to realize that they will ultimately lose when they start playing. They are too self-confident, I noticed this a long time ago, they think that they will be lucky and they are the chosen ones, I would even call these elements of narcissistic behavior. You need to perceive reality more adequately and understand that there is a high probability of losing and no one will be responsible or responsible for the player who is playing. Generally speaking, they simply cannot stand and accept the fact of losing. In my opinion, this is at least not serious. If someone knows himself well and the characteristics of his character, then it is better simply not to make such bets.

Therefore, in my opinion, what must be emphasized is our readiness with things that will happen with certainty, defeat and loss of money in the sidelines are definitely happening, so before gambling we should be ready with the loss of money that will definitely happen, allocating a sum of money It is willing to miss it must, because indeed most of the gamblers who are addicted are because they are not ready with the reality that occurs (defeat). Now if we can accept facts with a clear defeat that can happen, maybe we will not be addicted to gambling. they should be able to accept the defeat that occurred, because by not being able to accept their defeat it is likely to make them gamble again in the hope of recovering the losses that occur, but in my opinion when losing gambling and gambling again and get victory, it can't even Guaranteeing to attract victory, because it is possible to have other thoughts like this maybe this is a sustainable luck so it still continues gambling despite having won, because he thinks with still being able to get a greater victory. And most likely all will be lost again and disappointed and disappointed to trigger uncontrolled emotions and re -gambling with the same motive, continue like that until it becomes an impulsive action and eventually becomes addicted to gambling.

When it is addicted to gambling, it will be difficult to recover, leaving gambling becomes difficult, they will continue to gamble even though they don't have money, by doing various ways to be able to make money and use it again in gambling. So there is a possibility that someone who has been addicted to take actions that can harm others, or make loans. Even if it succeeds in making a loan money obtained is also likely to be re -used for gambling. With the end that is certain it will make them upset, someone who already has a lot of debt may be stressed and may end his life by committing suicide, but this does not solve everything, I think there is a family who must be responsible for all the debts they have. It is also impossible for the borrower to forgive him.

You're right,in my own opinion the reason why some people end up killing themself all in the name of gambling is because, probably if you place a bet and the potential wining is 16m as the case may be.maybe is just remaining only one game for you to win the 16m,and you went for cash out and they showed you a cash out of 9m, and you refuse not  to cash the game out, hoping that the remaining one will play unlike the way you expected.on the contrary the remaining game failed what will become of you?that is the reason why some people end up killing themself, some people end up commiting suicide.

Man, there's really no metric or standard for how heavy something is when it comes to mental health because for me, that kind of debt isn't a reason to say goodbye to this cruel world but then again we're not all the same or equal in terms of tolerance to life, some of us just can't take it anymore. The reason why the media did the cutting of some parts is because they want to make it appear like there's something wrong with someone and that they want to push a narrative that antagonizes mental health awareness, that's why it's always a good idea to check out stories regards to a particular article, you don't know if they're cutting out some parts in that story to fit a narrative, mainstream media isn't something we can't trust anymore.

To everyone out there that's having mental health problems, make sure to seek professional help or at the least tell what you're feeling to someone that you love or a friend, an ear that you can vent your problems too is definitely a helpful thing so sekk it out and even if you feel like there's no hope at the end of the tunnel, there definitely is, you're probably just too far away to actually see it.

Usually people who gamble lose money after gambling then they have very little control over themselves because they think that I have to recover the money that I lost by gambling. Losing money one after another. But those who have this control are in their hands. Once he loses money by gambling, if he realizes that I have lost a lot of money by gambling, I will not gamble again. Of course, that is a good thing. He has control over himself and those who  I have no control over myself, so addicted, I am losing money every day, but their addiction is ruining their lives. Gamblers who lose money by gambling make their family suffer their money, so it is not right to gamble because of excessive gambling addiction.

I've gotten passed this amount in my life and that's not the reason why I am going to say what I am about to say.

There is no amount of money that worth a life, your life is worth more than any amount...

I'm sure there is some of the history we don't know. There are many people who gamble and many people who lose amounts of money they could not afford, but they do not take their own lives. Without knowing the specific details of this case, when one takes one's life it is not only because of a specific event like this one, it is usually a combination of several factors, such as a disappointment in love, having been fired from a job and seeing no future, a complicated family situation and things like that.

The news story says he took his own life after losing that $3K, but just because one thing happens after the other doesn't mean the former is the cause of the latter. Correlation does not imply causation.

Actually there are several good reasons to answer problem like this, not just about borrowing money and spending it on gambling but because of experiencing series of losses and recovering from the losses by gambling crazier until all the wealth is gone.
Many gamblers have lost half of their total wealth just because of mistakes in making decisions in gambling, even more have actually fallen into poverty and no longer have any wealth.
Borrowing money is only the last option that they do when they really don't have any money at all, there is goal and mindset that is to continue gambling and succeed in winning big but this is an ambiguous mindset.
They only think about what they can get by trying to get big win but they don't think about the risks and consequences that must be accepted for the decisions they have taken.

Cases like this are actually very unfortunate because someone feels hopeless or frustrated with themselves so they do something stupid and decide to end their life.
This is an example of the attitudes and thoughts of people who are irresponsible and do not have true sense of identity.

          -   Talking about suicide because of losing a large amount of money in gambling is no longer the right and normal thing to do. The only thing that can do this is that he was unable to control himself due to severe depression and stress, which led to suicide being the only solution for him to escape from the big problem he was facing.

So sometimes it is scary to put a gambler at the level of gambling addiction because they are controlled most of the time by their greed in their mind and lack of discipline and control over their emotions.
We talk about it because it still happens, which is alarming but it's worth the share, so that others might not follow that path. The guy is weak, for him to not control his emotions. I know depression and stress are real and not a joke, and many of us are also experiencing it but many of us can still survive it and it is now a common thing for us, though if only he didn't risk huge amounts, maybe he is still here.

Suicide is not the best solution and you will only look like a coward if you want to escape your problem, especially if you are a man. We don't put a gambler at the level of gambling addiction but those gamblers put their selves that way, however it didn't come in an instant but there is a process for it.

That's probably the case. The gambler has seen no chance to recover after sacrificing everything he has and losing it all in gambling. Sometimes, a person can't take it once they lose everything as they have bet all they have on that. During this time, there should be someone they can talk to, to avoid making them think that ending their life will end everything. They should always think positively and have a thinking of being able to recover even after they lost everything.
