The funny thing of the story is that guy celebrated his win by salat because he is religious and a muslim, the problem is islam forbids betting or gambling on anyway (strict rules in islam) just like ignoring that and doing something bad in islam’s principes. Anyway this guy is really lucky to win such a prise with a very small amount he risked, it’s a very good odd though and also im wondering which game did he play or bet on
Let's do away with the religious matters and any affairs related because if he were to be that of devoted religious man he wouldn't have gamble, to an extent some termed gambling a sin, but in real life we gambling for so many reasons, one is to catch fun, make money and avoid boredomness, there are certain things we do in life that if by any religious beliefs its forbidden, but your religion as well will not be responsible for your good or wayward life at the end.
Yeah exactly i didn't say the opposite too. But mixing between religious matters and gambling is like trying to edit or correct the religion rules which in islam says it's gabling is a strict sin. Gambling indeed can be fun and also a lot of pain for addicts i understand why in religious rules they forbid it. But for me personally i gamble and i have fun and i know always my limits. But not to gamble and pray (doing salat) that's totally a wring thing and a complications things
Well, i must say that anybody in the shoes of this lucky man would have done same, so personally, i am not going to judge him, i am a Christian but i know that gambling is a sin in Islam, the action is the man after seeing his winning ( that is going to the mosque to pray) is already a clear indication that he is not a true islamist who keeps the law..
Its just like a Christian who does not go to church but do know that there is a God somewhere, and the day something really good happens to them, you see them run to the church to give thanks to God, not out of genuiness of heart but out of overwhelming joy ..
So its clearly understandable to me.
This is one of the things that can happen, if a person is a believer in God, Heavenly Father, there is no need to prove to anyone that they are, I have a very different opinion than what people may think, as long as what each person does is happy, it is something that should fulfill the person, without the need to stop what others say, for me there is the secret to being able to have a good life, and if someone wants to make it known that he is a millionaire and he had that luck and if he's happy, why not do it, in my case I wouldn't do it, I don't like doing things like that, I know there are people who go through bad times and it would be rude to put it.
When it comes to games of chance and the regulations in each country, it tends to change a lot, I have seen people who do not mind showing their face when a game is won, just as I have seen cases that do not want to go anywhere because of the fact that they are not going to be recognized and they do not want to expose themselves because it scares them, which is something respectable and ´I know that the question is that things can be given in the best way, the fact that someone wins a great prize in This should be celebrated and should not be seen as a strong obligation and not as something that is traumatic.
A big win should be enjoyed, it should be something joyful for that person, not bring more pressure, stress.
