I prefer to visit the most popular rating websites. I know that almost all of the ratings are paid, but their websites is a great source of information where you can find the most useful stats and infos about team members, whitepaper and the product.
what you say is true the most important thing is that we are not only interested because of the ranking but because the project is indeed feasible for us to choose.

by visiting popular webs, we can better understand the ins and outs of the project and we will find projects that are suitable for us.

There are so many media channels to find out about ICO. I think almost all social media sites have ICO announcements and promotions in them.
Yes, there are lots of them these days and there are as many scammers as well. But there are sites that I have been using since I got into this community and started investing in ICO… there are good sites such as https://www.smithandcrown.com, and we also have this coinschedule.com and tokenmarket.com. It doesnt just end with them. There are still many of them around today.

There are lots of sources where you can find ICOs that you can invest in, but some of them are not really reliable as they don't give proper information and can be misleading at times. I make use ICOAlert, on their site there are list of ICO that you can buy and it is one of the top sites that you will always see a lot of people mention. A lot of people makes use of their site.

I use icobench because they have a nice arrangement and filter of icos to invest in. I also use tokenmarket to skim for icos. I seldom use youtube because it's full of marketers and bounty hunters. When I gather a group of interesting projects, I then move ahead to check their team. A project without a good team is immediately ruled out. I sometimes even personally call the project teams to get more insights about their project, but one thing is clear... I never invest in a project that I don't understand and I myself cannot use.

What are the biggest sources, channels (YouTube channels/influencers, Twitter accounts/influencers etc, ICO rating websites) online that you use to find out in which ICO to invest in?
In my experience, we should observe the information on Bitcointalk.org for the announcement (Altcoin). You can find out the details of each ICOS project to get the best view of comparison and participation.
There are no entry here, but there are several sites in the giver's rating of ico. Moreover, some project that held them, sometimes the ieo was announced and promoted through the exchange.

I do my findings about which ICO to invest on from the project telegram community group. From their I do as much as possible to verify lots of things I need to such as the team/devs intentions, activeness of team members, coin/token use case, and so on.

The whitepaper is the best document of any ICO to find out if this project is legit or not. You should only invest around 1 hour for a deep investigation of each whitepaper to save a lot of your money for the future.
Vanya I think you can make money even if the projects whitepaper is frankly copied from another project. But you never sure will you get your bonus back or not!

Getting more complete information usually gets information from social media such as Facebook and Twitter. But we also have to use our knowledge so far at Crypto to determine a good ICO. And invest wisely.

Most investors are interested in projeck if covered by a trusted site or the team itself also has experience, especially when there is certainty about exchange issues such as entering binary, it will make them interested in other concepts etc. because most of them are hit n run

To participate in ico there is no need to follow any site or channel because not everything they give will be a very profitable ico but use your knowledge and do a lot of research

I saw in this forum other than that on other web channels such as social media, medium, telegram and ico ratings. this is just the basic basis to find out whether ico is feasible or not, the most important thing is we need to find out in other sources also to find out the clarity of the project.

Most of the information I get from rating sites; icodrops, icorating, medium, or maybe twitter accounts that discuss and research about crypto development (ICO).

sometimes I look for the information itself. well, maybe a website that provides information about ICO is quite important. however, having a good concept makes me interested in finding out about teams, partnerships, and many things. well, many resources are needed to find a good ICO.

At the beginning of my journey, I used all sorts of sources of information to explore the project and the team. Recently, I began to doubt that investments in ICO are profitable. The rate of the token after distribution becomes lower in tens and hundreds of times. So why would I invest in ICO?
Even if I liked the project and earned my trust. I buy tokens after distribution to FD 10 or 100 times cheaper than the ICO  Roll Eyes

I like to use this forum as a resource and social media channels also.
I do not consider myself a ICO investor any more but this is what I did when I did take place in them.

I like icodrops, there are good ico's, ideas. But you need to think with your head too, do not blindly believe everything.
believe it's necessary, but don't overdo it and that's normal so if something happens don't be too disappointed.
to take part in any program you must be able to focus on that and not be greedy in making choices.
and be careful because not all the steps you choose are good so consider and think carefully.
I agree with you. I want to add that you need to be responsible for all your actions. No need to blame anyone for your failure.

What are the biggest sources, channels (YouTube channels/influencers, Twitter accounts/influencers etc, ICO rating websites) online that you use to find out in which ICO to invest in?
not looking for references from there. I rely more on personal analysis. but first, now I stop investing in new projects. better focus on trading and add to my portfolio with quality coins.
I often reference when the ico team is meeting and partnering with details, but ico like today is hard to find but often there I think it's the best.
