That's a good motivation but for a determined newbie gambler that will cost them nothing and it's fine, if ever they've chosen to gamble with that money anyway.

If this has been helpful to you, all you need to do is to continue with that strategy of having that paper money in front of you to remember that you are gambling with your hard earned money.

Sometimes all we need is a little piece of motivation or remembrance for us to stop and control ourselves. Because there are moments that we are unstoppable and uncontrollable.

I think it's a good idea but when people are gambling with money that they can afford to lose, they don't think about how hard it was to make that money. They have already decided to spend that money on gambling and that's why they are there. So a dollar bill won't remind them the hardship that they have gone through in order to acquire that money.
Instead of doing this, here's a better solution. Come up with this strategy and a strict budget. You should have a fixed amount of money that you are willing to spend on gambling. And you should make a strategy and the plan that will help you gamble for X amount of time with X amount of money. This strategy should also focus on how much money you are putting on each bet and by putting how much money you will be able to continue gambling to your targeted date.

If you follow a strategy while having a strict budget, it will lead to more control over your emotion and you will be gambling responsibly because if the money runs out you won't have anything to gamble. For this reason you will gamble less while using less money. But if you were someone who have more to lose or can afford to lose, then you are on your own.

The gambler with the less knowledge will try to start the gambling with the small amount of the dollars.But we should not blame for that small amount gambling,not all the gambler situation was same.So the gambler should wait for the good time to get into the big deposit for the gambling site.Because without the skill the gambler will not use the big money into the gambling site.When the gambler feel he can make the sure win using their own knowledge in the gambling,So personally he need to take the responsibility in the game.Because their must be the difference between the gambler with less money deposit and they need to increase their skill int the gambling sites.

First of all, you shouldn't be depositing any money to a casino that you are not willing to lose, and if you feel that money is losing beyond your affordability that places your responsible character being broken. So have one point straight that you gamble for fun and if its intended to make some money that is place where you are wrong and if goes south then you have to face the consequences which will affect you financially as well as mentally.

I have never heard this method before and I don't think this is a good idea to do, because it would invite more unnecessary nerve while playing and it affects decisions making at putting bets. When you are at gambling, Money you use should be money that you can afford to lose. You can't go into gambling while still not sure how much money to play. that's torturing your feeling.

being responsible at gambling is just about not putting yourself into finance loophole, nothing to do with how big the bet you put.

I don't think I need this, when you are too deep in gambling you tend to forget everything the best method to control your gambling is to only gamble what you can't afford to lose so if you are ok with $100 then deposit only $100 then and do not add more be sure in that $100 you have accomplished your goal and that is to enjoy and be entertained.
Bankroll management is very important you do not need something to remind you of the harship of earning money, experience is still the best experience once you experienced the bad things about gambling it will always plays out in your mind, and from there, it will motivate you to do the right thing.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, I don't think I've ever done this kind of thing by sticking a paper on the monitor to remind you when gambling, everyone has a different way for responsible tips to overcome excessive gambling, there is also a message from them to remind them to do what can make you stop when the capital is exhausted.

I myself can now be responsible by setting aside a small percentage every month, if I lose then it will not return to the account until this unnecessary money comes again but I think with people who are already addicted it will be difficult to do anything to stop.

I don't think I can apply this method I will not be able to concentrate on enjoying the games, I guess it varies to an individual if it works for you I doubt if it works for others but we have our own methods for us not to get addicted.

That would be stressful for us if we always think about that and its really better to enjoy the game since if we are lucky for sure those earnings will just came to our wallets. Its just we need to know on when we need to settle up since without having any proper plan on when to exit would provably create a disaster to us since we might continue even if we are already winning or even losing to much since we expect to gain more or recover the lose we suffering.

I know its hard to stay being a responsible gambler if we used to gamble without taking any measure but if we are satisfy and still smiling at the end of the game then we can say that gambling sessions we have is successful because we already hit our target and we didn't get bothered to much on those lose occur to us.

The method you mentioned sounds nice and logical at first but I don't think it will be successful for someone who cannot control himself/herself when he/she gambles or has a gambling addiction. On the contrary, I can even state that there is something that may cause an increase in this person's risk threshold and accelerate the process of completely losing his/her current balance due to the fact that there is that amount of money in front of the screen. Unfortunately, gambling addiction or the inability of someone who has just started gambling to control themselves isn't something that can be prevented by using such simple methods. For this reason, instead of trying such simple methods, it would be more logical for the person to make an effort to learn to control himself/herself and prepare a disciplined game routine for himself/herself. Of course, these will be very difficult things for an individual addicted to gambling but I think that if implemented correctly and determinedly it will help prevent both gambling addiction and the person's inability to control himself/herself.

It might work for you, but it's not something I would do. I don't want any distractions during my gambling sessions. I've learned from past mistakes, and that's enough to ensure disciplined gambling for me. What you're suggesting seems like a superstitious belief, LOL. But, of course, if it works for you, you should stick to it. I'm just concerned that having paper money hanging might make me hesitate during a winning moment, so it's not helpful all the time, especially in those situations.

Sticking a paper money to your PC or the wall does nothing, in fact someone can look at as a reminder to keep putting more efforts in gambling, because they have to make money? Do not expect people to all think the same way.

The only way to become a responsible gambler is to understand yourself, everything we do financially is all about calculations, always apply calculations to your spending and make sure you are using the smallest money to gamble, because it's sure that the result gambling will give every time is losses.

This will really not work for everyone because some persons don't care how much they went through to make the money, whenever they have decided they want to gamble ,they just go all in straight as some of them are even prepared for what ever the outcome may turn out.

But then I think it's a helpful tip especially for those who apply discipline to gambling and wants to be more responsible at gambling, they can use this tip and see if it will work for them. But to be able to keeps to this tip they will need self control and discipline because if they don't have any of these then they will most likely not be able to keep to the tip, they may continue to further be reckless with their stakes and gamble as they wish.

This is one of the lame advice to fight gambling addiction that I've ever heard. The currency bill on the monitor should be a driving force for me to gamble and not the other way round.
