Yes and one of the things that makes the tips useless is that they don't bring any discipline to their gambling and also like you said everyone has different ways and brings different feelings to their gambling. I guess that could be the reason why some of the effective tips seem useless. You have a good way of putting your family and responsibilities in front of the screen, which can indirectly make you think twice about putting money into gambling.

The way you use it is quite good, but what we have to know is that not everyone can do the same thing, what you think is effective enough to prevent yourself from gambling but it is not necessarily useful for other people who have different personalities, and also yes it is not uncommon for them to think wrongly, as you said that there are also some gamblers who are actually motivated by their dependents' situation which makes them end up even more crazy in gambling because they always think that it will give them a win to help make ends meet, but the actual fact is not at all.

That's the point, a person who isn't responsible in general and has no control over their emotions will barely be able to control themselves no matter what happens, and I don't think that a paper note fixed in front of their monitor or device will be able to make them gamble responsibly. Whereas, someone who is responsible by nature and doesn't irresponsibly do anything, wouldn't need to fix a currency on their monitor to remind them about their responsibilities.

So, this idea might work for some people, but for the majority, it's unnecessary in my opinion. There can be other ways for someone to become a responsible gambler, instead of doing this, one should try and limit their bankroll and try following that and maintain some discipline.

Yes, we gamble using the money from our hard work every day, leaving in the morning and returning home in the afternoon or even late at night. Therefore, it should also be taken into consideration that we should not be too excessive in allocating money to gambling, they should not accept if the results of their hard work are just lost as a result of their excessive gambling. And the best thing is like the advice you said that it is better to put a small amount on gambling, or for example only 5% of the amount of income we get from work, with that then I think you will not experience problems with your finances due to uncontrolled gambling.

What you say is correct, even though there are still many people who use their hard-earned money to gamble. They do things like that, but before they start gambling, they always allocate a certain amount of money from their hard-earned money. I am also like that, always allocating a little of my income to gambling and always trying to stay within that limit. By doing things like that, I can still enjoy gambling as it should and will not exceed the limits that I can afford. Each person who has self-control must have a way to stay within their limits so that they do not exceed those limits and can still gamble comfortably. Even if they experience loss, the loss will not increase because they can stop themselves from continuing to gamble.

This tip might be effective to some gambler because everybody don't act the same way. For me a picture of my immediate family members at the front of my screen will be more effective than sticking money on the system. Seeing my dependants will always remind me that I have bills to pay which will help me to control my gambling behavior. Some persons might react differently to this my strategy, the picture might be a motivation for them to gamble more because they will think that gambling more will give them the chances to win and take good care of the family.

I do agree with that and this should be the first rule in gambling to avoid regrets in the end and also leads to us choosing to chase all the losses which means jeopardizing the funds that are left, worse our own savings just because we want it all back in an instant.
Small amounts should be fine, and the amount that we can afford to lose even if it gets wrecked because that's where it will always go. Well, you are certainly right; in fact,  this concept of topic has been discussed numerous times in this forum, and all the answers to the posters are the same all over and over again: "have discipline", "gamble the money you can afford to lose", "gamble with entertainment in mind," and many more repetitive answers. So in short, even with these many tips and answers about being responsible in gambling, avoiding being addicted, or what, the change and decision will depend on the gambler. What if the gambler doesn't know that this forum exists? Well, it's useless, of course. That's why it's important that what you are saying here, whether tips, advice, or what, you apply in the real world. Say it to your friend or someone you know who does gambling. Also,  you can spread awareness through social media. There are a lot of ways to raise awareness and advise those gamblers.

I know that this has been tackled so many times but I will also give my own personal opinion regarding this topic. Just don't play with your hard earned money it is advisable if you do it with only your extra money. Have limits so you won't end up with huge loss.

In my opinion, sticking paper money in front of the monitor won't be totally successful. In my opinion, a good tip is one that has been implemented and succeeded in making gambling addicts stop gambling. I doubt that you have done anything for yourself to make your gambling situation more responsible.
In my opinion, responsible gambling tips only exist for gamblers who gamble in setting money limits for gambling.
Instead of sticking banknotes on the monitor to remind me how hard it is to earn money, I prefer to stick photos of my children to remind myself of the gambling I play.

True, that is the starting point of a gambler getting into debt as a result of not being able to manage his gambling activities. Someone who has the courage to borrow money just to gamble I think the level of addiction is very severe, they can't resist the urge to gamble even though on the other hand they don't have money but somehow they are so forceful in their lust. With that, they will start the cycle of borrowing to gamble and borrowing again to pay off the previous debt because the fact is that they can't get any winnings from gambling to be able to pay the debt.

Honestly, I really can't imagine what they will feel in such conditions, obviously there will be a lot of pressure, not only from the defeat that always dominates but from the factor of people who collect debts, obviously it will also be quite a big pressure. In fact it will only worsen their condition, because of course on the other hand there is absolutely no guarantee for anyone to win in gambling and that means it is not recommended if you look for alternatives such as borrowing money just to gamble with high hopes for victory. 

Your thoughts are very much correct because the bills before you while gambling would not be of any good stopping you from gambling but rather, it would make you gamble more because if you look at it the thoughts of paying it up would want you to generate more money and doing such would make you ignore the fact that you are gambling and possibly, if you are at loss, you would not mind damning the consequences to gamble more which is very risky and that is how one would keep gambling making loss back to back and chasing loss as well resulting to addiction just to meet up with bills and lots more.

I would say that we need to take the risk, just to avoid the situation at any cost at all. When gambling is done for entertainment and just to experience that adrenaline it's fine but when it starts going in the south and more concentration on money and worried about loss and all then better not continue at all the gambling activities until you get to the situation that you can afford to lose the money.

Hard but its not impossible because on the time that you would really be finding yourself to be that playing too much or spending too much money on playing gambling then if you are that someone who do have that kind of control then you could really be able to stop immediately or onpoint on which this is an advantage to those gamblers who do have that kind of control and discipline
because if you cant really be able to do such thing then you are really that bound on ending up or experiencing such devastation. This one isnt really just that limited or could really be just that good
on gambling field but also in other aspects or situations in life on which having that control and be responsible on your decisions would really be that crucial on certain conditions

it's hard, being a responsible gambler, it's hard. But it's no more difficult than just a gambling addiction. Because when someone has become a gambling addict, the situation they will face will be even more difficult, apart from losing money and valuable time, destruction and other domino effects will also follow which will make the situation very difficult and complicated.

And if we are fully aware that gambling will only bring us closer to loss in life, then immediately improve your gambling activities to be better and more responsible, before the situation becomes increasingly difficult so that you may not be able to face it.

That's a useful little suggestion. Usually we play out of control because we are chasing losses and raising bets. Sometimes we play with big bets and all this is done because we don't see the money directly. If we look at the money then we will realize that the bet amount is too much. If we lose, we will definitely regret it.

The best way to gamble is to play with small bets, this will not make us spend a lot of money gambling even if we lose. True, to be honest there is absolutely no prohibition for anyone to gamble as long as on condition that their gambling activities do not interfere with other things in their lives, such as for example their finances are destroyed because they cannot manage or cannot be firm by determining which money is for gambling and which money is for their needs, therefore we must really be able to put limits when gambling, because clearly if you are already addicted then I think it will be easy for you to put money that was originally for your needs but you put it on gambling with a very high level of expectation.

The question is whether or not they can do it or apply full firmness to their gambling budget which indirectly puts an alarm when the budget for gambling has run out. In my opinion, one of the things that must be addressed is their mindset in looking at gambling, don't let you think that this is an activity to earn because of course it will be very dangerous for your mentality and finances, by understanding all the concepts that exist in gambling then I think it will not be difficult for you to apply full responsibility for each of your gambling sessions, and also yes maybe in terms of emotions can also be minimized a little. It is like putting a square peg in a round hole: sometimes it wont work. Its a good idea for beginners to start out by betting with smaller amounts of money. Its like testing the water before jumping in. But controlling your emotions is really what its all about, isnt it? Anger is the worst emotion for gamblers because it can make a calm player bet without thinking. If you play with fire, it will either burn you or you can control it.

When you talk about attaching real money to monitors or playing on smartphones, you bring up a problem: the means may change, but the game itself stays the same. The bet and the risks are real, whether its real money or computer numbers.

Well, it's a psychological thing and it might work for some people, but for most gamblers, it's not going to work because it's not always about what you see to change your mind about something, but it's about your inner self and how much control and discipline you have in you. A person who isn't responsible in general wouldn't become responsible because of a paper note with a hypothetical thought behind it, and a person who is responsible doesn't need anything like that to remind them about their responsibilities.

The fear of losing money becomes more merciful in preventing someone from gambling beyond their means, because I experienced this when I felt how difficult it was to get money so there was a fear of losing the money that had been earned but because I was always tempted to gamble then the choice was to only use small amounts of money, or when I have done the calculations first and the money is indeed free money that can be used because important things have been fulfilled.
