I didn't try it but I really don't think that it will work in real life. We can be responsible gamblers if we want to without any notes or reminders. Unfortunately, people don't realize their wrongdoing earlier but it will just come late when they already fall into addiction.

The only thing that I see to become a responsible gambler is to understand clearly how this works. In this way, we are able to avoid those things that will bring us to addiction and chase losses. Becoming a responsible gambler is a big challenge for us knowing that we (humans) easily got into losing control of our emotions when our adrenaline kicks in.

Is it everybody that is gambling on the computer system and are ready to make use of this method of reminder, maybe i should chip in this for you, there are times you will be sleeping and would have set an alarm to wake you up at a particular time, but immediately the alarm begin to rings then you switched it off because you're so far fetched in your sleep, it you're gambling, except you don't wager money into your casino wallet, if not, continue gambling wether loosing or winning will be irresistible except there's no more money to use or the medium to login is inaccessible.

Reminding yourself to be more responsible can be a big help and if its work for you, the better.
I have my personal ways on how to stay responsible, I do make a plan and budget for the whole Month on where and how to spend my money.
Gambling is my least priority and if I get extra, I can play longer but if none that's ok I can still gamble next time. New comers should not let their emotions to take over themselves and stay focus, the only problem with them is that they still have no system on how to gamble properly.

Gamblers are different and everyone thinks differently. A responsible gambler is the one who knows what he is doing and stick to that and it will not gamble more than what he can loss and cry. In real life situation I have seen gamblers won big amount with small amount of money. So using small amount to gamble is a personal decision and some gamblers think small amount will not give them big win so they went for big amount to win big and end up winning nothing. A responsible gambler is not care about the amount he used but only gamble for fun. But whereby the gambler is interested to win big and place big amount of money to gamble then it is no longer a responsible gambler but the opposite.

The gambling is the game which had more possibility of the win if we play with more dollars,if we play with the small money the money is not the feasible to back from the drawback in the game.So if the gambler had some more dollars in the wallet,they can easy set back to the holding dollars.This also same for the dice or slot game,every bet may reduce on the wrong prediction.Once the prediction made by the gambler was right on the critical move,it will determine the win or loss at the game.Their may be the trump card in all the game,even in the rummy the card define the entire match.If the gambler had through the match deciding card to their opponent in the poker,this enough for the gambler to lose the game.So it’s most essential for the gambler to responsible game till the end of the entire game,any part of the game will make the gambler result to upside down.So the gambler should use the responsible deposit in every game to be free from the loss.

Haha, this can only be helpful for someone who have not encountered real addiction to gambling, or someone who doesn't really take gambling serious and highly desperate for a win.

Having control over one's attitude in gambling is something that comes from within, not the outer part of oneself, money is indeed hard to make, but once the money is made, many often and easily forget how or what struggles they went through to make the money, and this is why it's easy to spend in the first place, if we all were to put into consideration how hard it is for us to make our money, we will find a box and store all the money there, and never spend or take a dime out from it.

And do not forget, in gambling, players spend money to make more money if they are lucky, so this is what the player may consider and keep playing without consideration of how hard it is to Make money.

I know people who, every time they lose a large amount of money, vow not to gamble again. Saying or asking people to be careful when playing, if they are very gambling, is simply letting air out of their mouths. Most people hate losing, especially when they are playing using money, they will not accept losing. I quite agree with you that the reason you are gambling determines how you gamble. If you are into gambling for quick money you will always lose control of your gambling behavior. You will always be tempted to stake higher and chase losses if you see it as a source of income. Such reminders will not control gambling disorder because it is caused by an inner drive. If you gambling within your means and have a gambling budget, you don't really need such reminders.

Pasting reminders all over your room or on the screen of the computer will do little without a genuine desire to gamble responsibly.But beginners could adopt the pattern maybe it might be effective because you never know until you try.

Don't worry, friends, it will definitely be useful for beginner friends on this forum. Maybe those who don't think it works can ignore it, but I still appreciate the efforts of friends here who are willing to provide tips and advice for beginners, whatever it is, as long as it can help them to play smoothly. be responsible and avoid addiction, there's no harm in sharing those tips on this forum.

I think it's a good method and maybe beginners can try it, who knows, it also reminds us that we can appreciate the money we are looking for, it's not as easy as getting it, it's full of sweat and hard work, so we need to play wisely and limit our budget so that it remains well controlled as it should be. You are not wrong, it won't do a thing at all. Anyone that is gambling and spending too much money, the person needs to start by knowing gambling to make money should be avoided, but instead should gamble to have fun.

There is nothing better than having a budget for gambling and it should be of little amount of money. But a gambler should discipline himself for not to use high amount of money to gamble.

I agree with your assumption, although there may be a lot of advice that is good enough to make them become responsible gamblers but I don't think it will fully work, in my opinion there are two types of gamblers, and the advice will only apply to those who are still not too far involved in gambling then such advice can be useful for them, but the problem is that on the other hand for gamblers who have entered the addiction phase the advice is very difficult to apply or do. As you said, those who are already addicted are not ignorant about what the best thing to do is, but on the other hand they have a very high curiosity about some of the opportunities that exist in gambling, which ultimately makes them overdo it, whether it's in terms of putting a budget or putting a lot of time into gambling, the point is that they come with the wrong mindset and think that gambling is a place to make money.

Satisfaction in terms of achieving results is always their priority, when on the other hand casinos will not be able to provide all of that because of course gambling is basically nothing more than a place of pleasure, but they have misunderstood all that. In the first place why are you gambling, is it to have fun or make money, if you just want to make money then forget gambling, if you want to have fun, then don't tell yourself the harship that you are going through just to gamble, just play have fun forget all your worries, forget your boss, forget toxic people, just play and have fun and you will enjoy playing because you emerge yourself on the enjoyment of playing.

I haven't tried this and I don't think I will try this method and I don't think it will work you'll miss the fun and all you will remember is how hard it is to make money just to gamble, there's a better way to control yourself not like this.

It's too anti-mainstream and won't have any effect, I don't know if it's actually working on your side or you're just giving an idea. But I agree more with the method described by @Solosanz, usually people will stick photos of their parents or children to keep reminding them that there are people they should pay attention to rather than just gambling.

Whatever the method, if someone cannot control their habits, all methods will be in vain. I have tried many ways to stop myself from being too ambitious in gambling, but so far I have not been able to stop it after using many methods.

Lmao, this won’t do shit. Do you think those who gamble excessively don’t know or during their session don’t think about the stress they went through just to get the money they’re using to gamble? They clearly do and would still gamble just to satisfy their urge.

If you had said something about them reducing their bankroll I would have agreed with it but the idea of placing a money not on the front of their screen to remind them that they are beginning to cross the line I don’t think it will work.

What an idea, it's like hypnotizing yourself that you cannot go overboard on what you can bet, it you tell yourself that money is hard to earn it's like saying that don't gamble at all, just allocate a portion of your income then you are good to go, you don't have to remind yourself that money is not hard to earn, you deserve to have fun and when you mean having fun you don't tell yourself that its hard to earn money.

You are playing and having fun so you can forget the hardship of making money and this is your reward for all your hard work, so telling yourself that it's hard to earn money you will miss the fun and enjoyment of playing.

OP, that won't work. There simply are people who could control themselves, and other people who are vulnerable to an addiction, whether it's gambling or another form of addiction. What the vulnerable person could do if he runs out of capital in the online casino is take the paper money and go to a real casino. Hahaha.

His environment and the people around him will be a very important part of his life to avoid falling into addiction. It's definitely better not to start gambling for those kinds of people.

I used to be an irresponsible gambler until the day I realized that gambling was created and programmed in favor of the casino, meaning at all time, the casino will always be on the winning side while the gambler will always be on the loosing side, this has always been the tradition and it is only when you realize this that you will know that gambling isn't a job or a profession.

Sometimes it favors you but most times you're at the loosing end. And until gamblers understand this then there is no technique that can stop them from gambling or magically convert them to responsible gamblers. Some people take and consider gambling as a full time job lol.
 
Maybe the above tip could also be helpful to some people but I bet it would be useless to many. The solution I believe would be if the gambler realizes that gamble will always be in favor of the casino and not the gamblers, so then he can change his approach and  emply a better approach.

Lol I don't think this is normal when you stick a real paper money in front of your monitor, usually people use sticky notes with a quote or message. Some people say this is work just like seeing your parents or kids picture will make you motivate to work. But it's not work for me because everything are base on my control whether I choose to become responsible or not.

Even if I try that tip, it probably won't be effective if my urge to gamble or continue betting is already at its peak. They say it's difficult to fight against oneself, especially when you can't control your emotions. They might ignore this tip or simply brush it off, thinking that there's always the next payday. Perhaps even if you've already replaced the money with the ticket, you still know the value. Yes, this strategy may work for you, but for others, especially those who enjoy playing and are unaware of how much they've spent, it may not.
