When they realize very well that to be able to get money is very difficult, then they will never decide to play gambling. Because they know that gambling is not a place to make money, not a place to multiply money and not a place that can lead us to a gate of success and financial freedom.
In several posts, I always mention that our position is as a player where we have to deposit money to get pleasure, not profit.

And if we talk about a beginner who is new to gambling and just playing gambling, most of them think how easy it is to get money in a short time just by playing gambling. Believe it or not, those who are new to the world of gambling often get a large amount of winnings that make them even more curious about gambling. Until finally it encourages them to be even more crazy in playing gambling and makes them an irresponsible gambler.

While gambling some people gamble with small amounts which is not very important for them, but for those who are new to gambling and not able to control themselves or play with something reasonable amount.
So I have a tip for them you can stick a real paper money note in front of your monitor which will remind you that money is hard to earn and play responsibly or don't play with big amounts.
the note will remind every time that how you earned that money, and if you are controlled and this tip is not very important for you them you can ignore it, but i found this helpful.
of the several users who have commented on this statement, I might be one of those who would say it all depends on the mindset of each gambler. because every gambler has a different mindset, but the most important thing is a healthy mindset to think more maturely about appreciating the money he has.
but unfortunately that not all, out of 100 gamblers there are 50 gamblers who have a mature mindset and there are 50 gamblers who dont have a healthy mindset and always fail to control themselves. this is not only about self control but self control will be perfect if someone has a healthier mind considering it all just entertainment without using large amounts.

Its only natural that beginner gamblers are very ambitious in using large amounts because they dont have experience and only understand that gambling is to get bigger money, so this kind of mindset will prevent someone from controlling their own desires, even if they put money on the monitor, it will only be ignored or In fact, this money will be used to bet when you have lost all your money.

When playing gambling, they must know how much money they can use to place bets. If they place a bet with big money, while they cannot control themselves, they will suffer a big loss. Perhaps that's useful for you, but other people will try to limit their money in gambling, especially those who have experienced big losses in the past and really want to be able to reduce their bets. If you really want to learn to be responsible in gambling, perhaps you can try not to gamble for a whole month to reduce your gambling activities and do other things so that your mind can be distracted. And when you gamble, try always to place small bets and bet only a few dollars. After that, you have to get out immediately.

The gambling is the game which had more possibility of the win if we play with more dollars,if we play with the small money the money is not the feasible to back from the drawback in the game.So if the gambler had some more dollars in the wallet,they can easy set back to the holding dollars.This also same for the dice or slot game,every bet may reduce on the wrong prediction.Once the prediction made by the gambler was right on the critical move,it will determine the win or loss at the game.Their may be the trump card in all the game,even in the rummy the card define the entire match.If the gambler had through the match deciding card to their opponent in the poker,this enough for the gambler to lose the game.So it’s most essential for the gambler to responsible game till the end of the entire game,any part of the game will make the gambler result to upside down.So the gambler should use the responsible deposit in every game to be free from the loss.

yes I agree with you. People's thoughts are different so that determines all in gambling, some prefer to bet with small values or vice versa, some enjoy every round, some are ambitious to get big wins, some aim for entertainment only. So everyone has different thoughts so they have their own goals and principles.

Gambling cannot be separated from luck, in my opinion, the small or large value of the bet will not affect the victory that can be obtained. Because it is useless if you bet with a high or large value but if you are not lucky it will still run out, especially with a high value, of course it will run out quickly, and even with a small bet value, if you are lucky you can get a big win. So in my opinion there is no gambling trick but only luck that will give victory.

I am certain that there's a group of people that this could help with small amount of money, but i don't think it's the majority of people. In worst case scenario it will have an opposite effect.
When we are talking about enough money, we can't grasp the value just by looking at it. And then there's the fact that you would probably feel like you had more money when you constantly saw it as a cash form. Psychologically it would just make you probably value it less, as that would be constantly in your sights.

I believe that if you out that fiat with the intention same as the OP then you will view this with that purpose unlike what you said since you will remember the reason why put that on monitor. It’s weird to this because it will affect your game most of the time because you are making a pity bet whenever you are seeing that reminder.

I’d rather deposit what I can afford to lose rather than do this odd ritual just to remember the value of money since I always value my money and I should not put it on gambling if I’m afraid to lose it. That’s the easiest way to deal with gambling and become responsible most of the time.

I do not think this kind of approach will work for gambling addicts.  People gamble because they either wanted to be entertained or to win some amount of money.  For those who wanted to reduce their gambling expenses, they don't need to do some extra effort of sticking something in front of their monitor in order to go on with their plan.  They can do it even without these money sticking on the front of their monitor.   If a person wanted to value something, they will value it and there is no need to do stunts in order to value things.

It is much better to moderate gambling activities if one wanted to be a responsible gambler.  Having limitations both in time and money to spend in gambling is one way in avoiding too much expenses during the gambling session.

Lmao, this won’t do shit. Do you think those who gamble excessively don’t know or during their session don’t think about the stress they went through just to get the money they’re using to gamble? They clearly do and would still gamble just to satisfy their urge.

If you had said something about them reducing their bankroll I would have agreed with it but the idea of placing a money not on the front of their screen to remind them that they are beginning to cross the line I don’t think it will work.
Maybe some compulsive gambler are like that, but I still think that many of them do only care about one thing, and that is by doing the thing that they truly like the most. An addicted person can steal money. This is not hard but only take some guts. If you are an addict, you are numb already so you can easily do things like that.

It will be easy for you to spend the money that doesn't come from your own hard work. We can give advice like that, such as reducing a bankroll but the question is if they will obey it? About the other suggestion, I think that can only work if they are playing an offline gambling because it also uses physical money.

Only bet with money you can afford to lose and play consciously
to be able to control yourself and your game. And in my opinion, this is enough to be a responsible gambler before you dive too deep into the world of gambling, and to be able to recognize the signs of your gambling that needs to be corrected and improved.
And sticking real banknotes in front of the monitor or cellphone screen while gambling is a very funny thing in my opinion, because I don't think it will help because gambling is not because the power of sight can help control it. However, gambling involves many things, such as self-control, emotions, ambition and lust and so on. Unless you're sticking a photo of a god or grim reaper, that might make sense. Cheesy

Love the paper money technique, man. Its a harsh reminder of how hard those dollars were earned. However, shall we continue? Gambling online is different altogether. Online shopping makes money seem like numbers on a screen, making it simple to become lost. Your trick? Reconnects you to reality. You must know the game, not just how much money is worth. Dont kid ourselves. A lot of people start gaming without knowledge. They resemble wolf-den lambs. You must know your odds, strategy, and when to quit. You should consider that, not simply money. And Bitcoin? An extra layer. Its unsafe and harmful beyond money. Have fun with Bitcoin? You must double your intelligence. Dont lose your temper. Gambling isnt just throwing money around. To win, utilise your mind. Be wise or you'll be another fish in the sea. Be wise, work hard, and remember that every chip has a narrative and every play is a risk with money and sense

Can't say about other but this tip would not be helpful to me,  perhaps an interested persons can try it and see how helpful it could be to them cause op must have experimented and it worked for him that's how he had to share it. Like I have read many tips that didn't produce the adored results ascribed to it which makes me ponder on which makes this one special.

This tip is like a self administered  therapy and a gambler that's lacking in self control from the onset just can't adhere to the tip all by himself. See what will happen; he'll keep using each note he sticks to the monitor one after the other without considering it was actually a tip that was meant to make him gamble responsibly.

Close support from responsible friends and colleagues will be much helpful than this tip, am not saying I don't fancy the tip by the way.

I know people who, every time they lose a large amount of money, vow not to gamble again. Several days pass and everything starts again, the promise that one bet will be made is forgotten after three minutes of play, and the excitement switches consciousness to unconsciousness. Saying or asking people to be careful when playing, if they are very gambling, is simply letting air out of their mouths. Until something global happens in their destinies, or until conscious treatment begins, it is useless to talk about the importance of taking care of oneself.

All matters on personal or self control and moderation.There are indeed some people who are really that good on giving out some advises but on the time that they are the ones who do get involved
with gambling, it turns out that they are the ones who are really that impulsive and ended up on having those kind of bad decisions towards gambling activity. Being responsible?
You cant really be able to say so when you are the ones who are really that in their foot or simply having that gambling experience of your own.
It would really be just that a matter of someones jurisdiction and moderation in relation into their gambling habit and decisions to be made on.

It might help some people to be reminded of their gambling expenses and budget but I don't really think that it will be that useful for someone to be responsible on their gambling activities. Most of us are already aware of our budget even being reminded of but we still go beyond that on some occasions especially if we feel that we might be able to win and recover with additional budget.
Good tip but it's really not that useful to control our gambling endeavors.

No doubt that slow and steady would get you to your destination but some people won't still adopt that style because we are made differently and we have different way we see things and go after them.

Nonetheless, emotion is what we should take strict decision about and not by using a symbol or something else as reminder of our decision. If we have decided and mean not to do a certain thing then that should be it. Therefore, there are people who would go back to higher bankroll when they have tried betting small amount and win then they would like to increase their staking power while the fear factor gets some gamblers off risking higher but there are those always staking higher no matter what loses they encounter.

Your post have the tone that gambling is an expressway to loosing money. I might be wrong but that's what I understand from your post and if that is correct, I will not completely agree with you. If there are no people winning and being successful through gambling, there would have been general resentment for gambling and gamblers. People are still winning irrespective of how difficult you think gambling is.

The most important thing is to gamble with funds that are not in urgent needs, money that can be sacrificed. If gambling funds are llanned for ahead of time, it will be hard to enter into a state of depression from gambling because the winning is not something the gambling is desperate to see.

``````but for those who are new to gambling and not able to control themselves or play with something reasonable amount.
They need to stop; they don't have a place in gambling as they are essentially destroying their lives. It's not just them but also their families and the people around them who are affected. Irresponsible gamblers have no place in gambling, as it's all about managing risks while still finding entertainment in the game. When a person becomes too desperate to make money through gambling, likely due to financial problems, it only leads to more significant issues. So, it's not really helpful; prevention is always better than cure, anyway.
Gamblers who are addicted can even use their last earn money that caused them a lot to get, they do not care how they were stressed to get the money,  what they just want to do is to satisfy their urge by playing gambling. Addiction is a serious challenge that people always struggle with to overcome.  What op is talking about won't that easy as he thinks to help in controlling how people should play gambling , I think gamblers that are addictive will learn the hard way that which will make them to decide to end gambling.
While this may have worked for you, I doubt it will have any generalized applicability. Gamblers differs from one person to another. A tip that may work for Elon may not work for Mark. For some gamblers, the ultimate tip to responsible gambling is when they use a money that was budgeted for something important, like tuition fee, apartment rent or others for gambling, thinking that they can double it and then eventually lose it. That is when it clicks with them that they either do something about their finances or suffer the pain of regret and shame that will be brought upon them as a result of their irresponsible gambling habit.
You are right, each person has their own way of winning the bets they play and also the winnings they get will also be different, when they use the same strategy and they cannot win at the same time because in gambling there will be luck for those who can. win the bets they play even though they use the same method of playing it.
By gambling with money that we have budgeted for other purposes, of course we will lose that money and we will not be able to meet the needs that we need, so it would be better if we gambled with money that we don't really need for any purposes.
I don't think it will work, actually we know that money is really hard to earn and that's why we work for it.
There are many other ways to control yourself when it comes to gambling but if you just remind yourself that you worked hard for that money while you gamble, it's better not to gamble. You can't enjoy gambling that way. It's better to set a budget for your gambling so that somehow you won't be too hurt if you lose.
