If you look around, you will know that long hodlers are the ones making a huge amount of profits from the market than the short term hodlers, and it will be for your favor if you can hodl for long to earn big in your hodling.

I have lost many times in shitcoins investment ,that made me to vow never to invest my money on them than to make a good choice that will help me to succeed at the end of my investment because everyone want to make profits, and for you to make a good profits you need to invest in a good coins.

One thing we need to understand is that investing is Bitcoin is more secure than buying random shit coins and holding them for too long.
It is good we buy all these shit coins for a limited time. I can see myself holding many of the shit coins for too long because it's going to be waste of time and funds if anything happens to them and they eventually loses liquidity especially when holders started selling their holdings just to invest in other tokens because of the nature and ways many of these shit coins do die off.

Invest according to your desires and goals. That's true op.I'm also among those investors who experienced similar cases with altcoins. That's the reality of crypto market. Only bitcoin and ethereum are best coins and no altcoins can beat their potentiality. Other altcoins are for short term and if you miss the timing of investment, then you'll be in loss. But btc and eth are for long term holding and they'll generate profit for you without any doubt. We think that altcoins are more profitable but at the end of the day, btc and ethereum both are only real gem in market

Altcoin is always risky because It's volatile is too fast. you will not able to take right decision here must of the time. Because there are thousands of altcoins you will be able to make an accurate prediction very quickly about which coins will pump when and which coins you should invest in. But since altcoins pump very fast, you can make quick profit from here in a short period of time. However, in addition to this, the price of altcoins also decreases quickly, so there is a high chance of making a big loss. So to invest in altcoins you have to take risk

I've had similar experiences with altcoins. Many I've invested in turned out to be "shitcoins" or lost value over time, with Ethereum being the most successful one I've held. As a result, I rarely hold altcoins for a long period, typically no more than 20% of my portfolio and for a maximum of one year, sometimes selling them within hours of their market launch.

There are some altcoins that have a fairly good investment experience, but most altcoins have a poor investment experience. I have lost enough of my money investing in some altcoins since then I have always refrained from investing in all types of altcoins. However, there are some coins that can be trusted, including Ethereum BNB. I invested some amount when the price of Ethereum was at $2500 which I have held till now and in this short period of time my investment in Ethereum has made quite a profit. We have also seen a substantial increase in the price of Ethereum in proportion to the price of Bitcoin, and at this point I am happy to invest in Ethereum.

Not all altcoins are indeed bad, but most of what we see nowadays are ones that come and go in a short time.

Altcoins pump a lot from time to time but it cannot be predicted. Bitcoin follows its price chart in many cases and it can be seen that it can do the same circle every 4 years so holding Bitcoin for long term can profit from it. But in the case of altcoins, it is not able to maintain its price for a long time even if it is pumped first. Altcoins basically move based on hype. Coins pump a lot when hype builds on them. and when the hype dies down, it does a much bigger dump again. so in the middle of the hype you have to take profit from altcoins. It requires a lot of activeness.

Your not wrong when you say not all altcoins are badbut the problem with investing in them comes with the uncertainty of identity which is a good one, at times projects that we think is good starting out with all the best hype and even gave out some good profits to early investors turn out to be trash and just a pump and dump, we have ecounterd so many of them on this crypto space and another thign I think it's so hard is to time the market cause you don't even know when it would happen.

but we also shouldn't be selfish, because many altcoin have managed to make a profit, namely with short-term time.

Altcoin the dream of getting rich quick, I had a friend who invested in Altcoin with the aim of getting quick profits, the hypes and trends of the projects where too real and promising not only to know that it was more like a time bomb waiting to explode, it was just a pump and dump coins and he lost his investment. Most time we get excited seeing a successful investor without considering the up and down in the market, thou Ethereum has proven to be the most reliable altcoin.

I think this is your own opinion and it doesn't necessary mean people will think like this when talking about altcoins, some people when discussing about altcoins the first thing they'll think are newly project just like the thread we see here from newbies asking which best newly tokens to pump so they can earn profit.
I think the op is actually making a comparison with the altcoins he saved and some might bring profit while some will dump, it's best for everyone to think carefully before investing in any coin regardless of what the op said and with everyone opinion or personally from my opinion bitcoin should not be compared to other tokens.

Man, I can relate to what you said here. I bought a lot of altcoins and even got few tokens/coins are from tips, there was a huge group with tipping people tokens/coins on telegram. and I withdrew some good amount of shitcoins and altcoins to my wallet. Guess how rich I was? $0.15 lmao..

My only worthwhile coin was a bit of MANA. And the rest was total garbage, not even worth the effort to sell.
