I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.
Most of the time you are right. And if you need money, you should totally move your bounties to eth or btc. But that token you got immediately moons, just remember that it's not going to be next eth. You are totally ok selling it yearly. Or if you believe it's going to do pepe like move, just sell most of it and leave a moonbag. Just in case it will moon.

Long time ago i saw one altcoin in charts that was mooning. I wondered that where i had heard that name. It turned out i had their bounty in one of my wallets and i had totally forgotten it. That can happen too especially in altcoin season. Most of the time it's not happening though.

Talking about my investment experience in alternative coins I would say that most of my experience was bad. But the reason for this was mostly my own fault. Not being able to control my own emotions, then depending on others for trading etc. were the major reasons behind this.  But now I have learned a lot from my previous mistakes, now even if I invest in alternative coins, I analyze and then invest. My main point is that even if the experience is bad, learn from it so that you don't make the same mistake in the future

Just invest in coins whose marketcap is high. If you greed for more and choose shitty coins, then definitely you will make losses. Basically the coins which are tokens at beginning have the high chances to do exit scams. So never invest in tokens at first. Also if you choose a coin with high popularity, then there will be very high chance that the coin will grow, as more people will buy it. So always do proper research and buy the coins. Yes BTC and ETH are one of the best coins to invest.

BTC and ETHEREUM are undoubtedly the best investments for large capital. 75% of all TVL DEFI is now in the Ethereum ecosystem.
But who wants to earn a little more and have more risks, then there are other fundamental altcoins, for example Solana, Polkadot, the price of which has fallen by 90% from ATH.
I do agree that ETH should be at the top of the list for everyone, it's by far the best altocin and when the next bull run comes we will remember why. It may sound boring because it's already at the top and that is why people avoid investing into it, or talk about it at least because they do invest into it since it's still second ranked, but it should be reminded to everyone that it is second ranked for a reason.

ETH is a strong and independent decentralized project that managed to turn into proof of stake so you could earn interest from it as well. It will continue to be a strong project for a long time, I can't see it it could reach to a lower rank, it will stay strong for a good while and will be powerful.

Based on my experience, I also received tokens from my bounty campaigns back in the day as a reward, and I immediately sold them once I received them in my wallet because I already knew that they would only have a value for a few days, and then their price will go down after a week or a month. It is the reason that the only altcoins I buy and invest my money in are ETH, DOT, BNB, SOL, MATIC, and other top altcoins because I think these coins will have a better value during the bullish season, unlike other altcoins that don't have a good use case or just copying other projects.

I think bitcoin and ETH are great solutions for conservative investing, but you can consider a strategy where you can allocate part of your portfolio to promising new altcoins that may grow in the foreseeable future. I'm not talking about memcoin-level projects, NFTs, gaming projects and similar shitcoins. I'm talking about really strong projects with a lot of support. In 2020 you could also argue that the best investments are bitcoin and ETH, and thus reject new projects like SOLANA, MATIC, OKX, etc. These projects brought their investors tens of thousands of percent of profit, while bitcoin and ETH grew by only 2-3 thousand percent during this period. In the next bull run the situation will repeat itself and some projects will also grow into new billion-dollar projects and bring the same tens of thousands of percent to those who invest in them now, but if you are sitting with one bitcoin and ETH, all this profit will pass by you and other people who make similar conclusions. Alas, I don't want to be among the people who support your opinion. DYOR.

Participating in bounty campaigns is just like working freely, 98% of bounty coins are just shitcoins that you won’t be able to sell because they won’t even be listed on exchanges, and the ones that are listed on exchanges will be worth a small amount that you might not even be able to withdraw from the exchange. Bounties are just rubbish projects currently.

It’s just funny when people see good coins and decide to invest in memecoins and shitcoins. Some people are taking unnecessary risks, which I don’t really think is worth it. Investing in shitcoins and meme coins has high chances of losing money, but since most of them are looking for quick money, they don’t care about investing in them, which at the end, if they end up losing money, and they will regret. How will you invest in a coin that does not even have a reasonable use case, a team, or a road map? Some shitcoins go to the length of plagiarising white papers, and people will still invest in the project.

With the experience that we've had in this market, we've learned a lot, and with the volatility of the market, we can settle for a few crypto holds because that's so much better. If you're a risky taker and you want to diversify a lot then you'll get to see and understand why the others are settling for less. Sometimes, a few is already more than enough to have a lot in your stash.

the thing with most of altcoin nowadays is that, the good ones are raising so high at the first time they got listed and went downhill from here on.
meanwhile the bad ones are just outright dumping ever since it got listed, so you know the formula and the cycle.
you could definitely make profit out of it.
That's the typical market reaction whenever new projects get listed on exchange especially on the popular ones like Binance. On a serious note, those developers that have nothing but stacking cash mindsets, they'll be allowed to sell early before than the entire community so, there's already a big slash of the value of those projects and we've learned from that.

Don't keep coins for too long, especially now that most of them are in the short time era. It's better to immediately sell it at a profit and go back to looking for a new project. It does look like we think the coins we hold will rise, but no one knows for sure, if they are not consistent with the project path they are making I think it will be in vain.
this advice is even more recommended for project that got listed on exchange and immediately reaching their all time high.
its better to hold for short term, when it comes to long term always stick with investment like ethereum and bitcoin, they are good for this.

That's just how altcoin investing works. You find a new coin, you short it, and at the first sign of profit, you immediately bail out since 99% of altcoins are not worth holding over for the long term. Additionally, even if it was, it's not exactly too late to buy it later on, maybe during one of it's bottom-ed out markets (if you truly believe that it still has chances of going up). The other top-performing altcoins are better since they have the foundation, while the new ones are still building it out and tbf, most of them don't really bother. They just try to profit off of whatever they can from their investors.

It's the realitiy that bounty tokens are no longer worth it, they usually dies along the way even if they survive the early stage of their project. Try finding projects that you see a potential in, don't invest into shitcoin as they are the same that dies along the way. Altcoins purposes are evolving and problems of a top altcoin is solved by a new altcoin which is an improve one so no wonder why they are getting replaced. If you want to earn big on investment, try finding hidden gems in the market, those who has a strong potential to dominate the market in the future.

In my opinion, Altcoins, Memecoins, and Shitcoins are not suitable for long-term investment. They are suitable for speculation and making profits within a short period only.

I tried many Memecoins and Shitcoins, some of which I had good luck with and made some profits, and others where I lost large sums of money.

So for now I decided to only invest in Bitcoin.

Now a days most of the bounties turned into scam, and they bounties that were before one years or two was amazing and top projects in a sense I can say, but the altcoins, that is depend on the team behind it and the project features, that which features it got and how it performs?

There are some good altcoins to be fair but they are rare and eventually, you will gonna land some of the shitcoins if you keep the traditional way of investing in them where you just blindly follow promoters on Youtube and other social media. The best thing to do when you don't seem to find the right altcoin to invest your money with, it's better to be safe and put your money in bitcoins while waiting, you are guaranteed not to lose your capital and have some opportunity to increase or up double the amount of your capital.

That is true if you choose bitcoin and ethereum as investment options. But I recommend choosing bitcoin as the main investment because ethereum could fall further even though the possibility is small.
Holding altcoins is tempting because of the possibility of making big profits during the altcoin season.
But we must remember that altcoin positions will always change in every altcoin season, so we must continue to analyze the coins that can replace the top coins.
Moreover, meme coins only provide profits for a short time and then disappear from the market and only the strong can survive.
So if you want the main investment, choose bitcoin because it has been proven to work well long ago.

Actually it's depends upon project and it's hype. I remembered many bounty Tokens which rised 20x-30x from the time of distribution. Binance also listed some coins. after 2021 when market crashed then very fewer good project launched, investors afraid to hold and all ICO, Private sell users selling their coins thus you will see only dump in these bounty coins. I think better idea when you receive tokens is to sell 80% or 50% if you think that project is good and could do something extraordinary but if you think that there is no hype than sell and book profit. I am holding CRP(crypton) for  long term which i recieved from review and hope it will increase in future, if its not then no tention because still i got it without investment.

That's quite right, BTC and ETH is considered safest coins so far. Many people talked against Eth when it's migrated from Pow to Pos but i think Eth is still best coins to hold for long term but it will not give you fast profit and you have to wait long.

I know there are potential altcoins in these times, but it's impossible not to have them, even if you know that. But if you are referring to investing in new projects that are altcoins, the risk is really quite high. Here you can test if you know how to choose a potential crypto. I also had the experience of receiving bounty rewards, and almost all of them were lost in the end, to be honest. That's why most of the time I do it, I also sell it immediately because, for sure, there will be many people who will actually sell it. But before the bounty hunters could do that, the developer of the coins they campaigned for was ahead of them.
