"I am hoping to get shareholders shares transferred ASAP and get full trading up and running."

Ken, you said "ASAP" 14 days ago.  Did problems arise?  If so, what were they, and what timescale are you working on?  Will we be trading by Monday?

I await the next update on Wednesday.

Just my thoughts:

MSD doesn't sound good.

Prediction about scams & planned failure. Seems to be coming true, hope not.

Not a fan of this new moderated thread, smells of denial and pipe dreams. It's definitely going to get out of hand with pipe dreams passed left in right, only compounding the issues here.

Thanks for the update Ken.

I personally think the quicker you let people who want to pull out of the company the quicker this MSD situation goes away. Basically shares have been paid for, then taken away sort to speak. People don't have access to them, if they could have dumped them in December this situation would not have happened. It was inevitable, hopefully Ken's confidence in the situation (posted in the moderated thread) pays off.

Looking forward to April.

See ya in 7 days.

No scammer tags anymore. Probably because half of DefaultTrust and/or forum treasurers deserve it.

Use the web of trust and do not use DefaultTrust.

And for the future, do not trust people who did not do:
1. Identify yourself to the community. This means, at the very least, creating a WOT account.

2. After completing step 1 spend at the very least six months learning.

How does WOT actually confirm ones identity? All I can see is that its a tool you use while browsing to rate sites safe or not to help other see if a site is safe or not. I've been curious about it but I just don't see how it gains any trust between 2 unknown parties.

Where is all the money coming from anyways?  It's like the bottomless bag of endless money that turns from just enough money for a single NRE on what is essentially an ASIC cloned from an FPGA to both a 55nm and 28nm fully custom chip.

Anyways, too late for Ken to run now that he's being watched.

We can't say if Ken's being investigated.  Ken said that he was contacted by [...], that's about it.
This could be nothing more than Ken stalling for time.  Can't keep pressing him about trading if he's under investigation, can you?  It's out of his hands...

If ActM is really being investigated, this is pretty much it for your shares/Active Mining.
Ken played this crudely, artlessly, but he got the job done.
He got some serious coin.

scammer tag on kenslaghter

Apparently "we" don't do this anymore, but I never understood why in God's name this was ever any sort of a priority for anyone anyway.

What do you think Ken having a scammer tag would accomplish?

At what point does this farce officially qualify to be deemed a SCAM?

How do we go about getting a scammer tag on kenslaghter?

Ken,

A couple of follow ups to the Wednesday report:

1. How much do you anticipate the Missouri Securities Division investigating ActM will damage the company?

I can't say at this time, as we just got the letter.  I have not talked with a Missouri securities lawyer as I am being referred to one at this time by my general business lawyer.

2. Are we putting multiple die per package? Are you getting 1.9GH per die or per package?

1.9 GH/s per die and one die per package.

To elaborate, Shaofis expressed the following concern regarding the die/package question on IRC:

Quote
and my worry that I wanted to get cleared up is
if you put in 10 square mm into the calculator it comes out like 6850... which fits his numbers of 6800
I'd expect a 10mm x 10mm die to package into 11mm x 11mm (at least my mind can make sense of that)
so I'm worried that Ken might have plugged in 10 into the calculator to get 6800
(really hoping I'm wrong)
because if the die size is 10mm x 10mm then we are looking at 600 die per wafer instead of 6800
so either the die is 3.16mm x 3.16mm and we will get 6800ish per wafer... or it's 10mm x 10mm and his numbers are off

Our engineers have calculated 170,000 chips per lot of 25 wafers.

3. Since it looks that eASIC is no longer involved at all with ActM, what came of the raised NRE money? Did anything of value come out of our previous partnership with eASIC?

We are still working with eASIC, we are getting multiple quotes on our Full Custom 28nm project.

Blah blah blah what a buncha horse shit. We didn't invest in actm to get a pile of go-nowhere weekly updates man! Come on!!

You sir are full of SHIT.

Give us our money back Ken, this is done.

Missouri SEC isn't contacting you for coffee, would get outta the country ASAP at this point. It's over. No way in hell the operation will be able to continue. Turns out investors don't like being lied to and mocked, and actually take action when treated like dirt, who would've thought.

What was that near million dollars used FOR?

STOP SAYING 'WE' !!

Damn, there is no WE. You all use the term when you should be saying YOU, because ken and his secret partners are the only ones with any money or valid stake in this scam.

Maybe the Belize army will drop by to defend Ken?  I hear those guys are pretty hardcore when defending business interests of Belize-registered virtual identities?

@guy experimenting with various fonts and text effects:  too little too late, but try 90pt ChopinScript - mah favorite.

If eASIC is simply another vendor then please tell us what happened to the $900,000+ we paid them. It seems the new 28nm is an entirely new project.

Weekly Update 2/12/2014

On the 55nm project:

This week has had a number of developments, our project manager is working on wrapping up all the detail of our 55nm project.  We are expecting to receive our first 55nm wafers on April 10th, with next batch due on April 29th, May 5th and May 8th for a total of ~104 wafers.  It will take 1-2 weeks to have the chips packaged and then shipped to our board manufacturers.  We will be selling and mining with these chips and boards, depending on what makes the most since at the time.  The tape-out was done on Peoples ASIC account for a shuttle run of 50 prototype chips, we have canceled the shuttle run and changed to a full production run of the chips on VMC own account.  Peoples ASIC IP has been signed over to VMC and the FAB has all the legal paper work to start VMC's production run of wafers.

On the 28nm project:

We are getting quotes from a number of vendors including eASIC.  After the project is started we expect it to be completed in 8 weeks, after which we will tape-out.

On Crypto-Trade:

I am hoping to get shareholders shares transferred ASAP and get full trading up and running.  We have received a letter from the Missouri Securities Division asking for information on Active Mining Corportation, at this point we have ask for more time to respond and have seeked legal advice.

so NO SHARES… and NO PROOF WHATSOEVER THAT ANY OF US CONTRIBUTED MONIES TO THIS JOKER, NO MINING, NO PROOF OF ANYTHING RESEMBLING A REAL BITCOIN MINING OPERATION.

man this just gets worse and worse every fucking week, such a fucken joke at this point.

Ken either admit this is in the trash or admit it's a scam but for you to act like things are moving right along is just too much anymore. FUCK YOU.

I'd say it's about time we all start looking into some kind of class-action movement against Ken&Co. because this is looking really bad… I'd like to recoup at least some of what I've wasted dumping into this fake-ass company.

I'm still wondering how much 'People's ASIC' cost us.

What deadline have the MSD given you?

Can you at least pay out our dividends. It's the last money any shareholder will ever get from this company.

Damn, it's too bad there's not going to be any trading.

I really wanted some of those cheap shares.

I was planning to send my pseudoanonymous, irreversible cryptocurrency to an unlicensed stock exchange run by shady foreigners in Hong Kong and purchase lots of unenforceable shares in this unregulated virtual identity representing both itself and its profits, based in Belize.  Because they'd be so cheap.

In other words, no trading any time soon due to being investigated.

What a fucken bald faced lie that is, this is a flat out scam.

Ken's been scraping off yuko's shares to milk every last vestige of what he can now it's done.

What country do you think he flies out to?
