Seriously, I think it's better to press Ken more to consider compensating the investors, other than push him to relist and try to pass the shares to others. No one will buy them under current situations.

ROFL Cheesy

That's some Intellihash thinking right there.  As the shares become worthless, Ken refunds all the money.

Looks like everyone is on the same page! I on the other think that i get tired of hearing a bunch of guys that rallied on a sketchy crypto currency and formed a company to wander into a business of making ASIC chips for a unsecure market like Bitcoin Mining. Looks to me like people want to micro manage a group that are doing the best they can with what they have to work with......

You buy machines they give your money back. You invest you Risk Making MONEY........... Guess what You invest you Risk loosing money!

Now what is nice is most people like myself who invested in unsecured sketchy Bitcoin Mining Stock Trading sites like Bitfunder probably did so with what amounts to a $300 investment in a GPU that yielded some bitcoin that miraculously appreciated because of its existance in the Virtual World!!

Good Job Ken!! make me some money!! Or at least give it a Shot!!!!!!   Blah Blah Blah to all the critics out there that are Scrooge!!!!

I like the idea of color coins myself, I didn't think they would be available so soon. I believe CC would attract very positive attention for ActM. The only problem I see is user-friendliness, or lack thereof. The first thing on ChromaWalet's website is a message stating "Colored Coins are not simple or easy to use!" that troubles me somewhat. Is ken going to be inundated with users who are stuck in some technical misunderstanding re. CC, waste his time/drive him crazier with millions of PMs per hour/cry foul and scam and "where's mah f*@%ing shares! OMG Ken ripped me off!" when they can't figure out how CC works?

I am fairly confidant I can figure out how to use ChromaWallet but it is going to take me a few hours of tinkering with it first, I am not so sure about some of the other users here. Not being critical of people's abilities, just saying, this could cause massive cock-ups and problems if implemented too soon... I'm really not so worried about bugs so much either, good minds have done a lot of hard work on the core workings of CC, any unforeseen problems will most likely be fixed fast.

Now, seeing as, due to the recently revealed delays,  there will really be no discernible progress with ActM for a couple of months anyway, we are in a good position to implement ColorCoins soon and work out the blips before any real movement hits the market.

My vote; YES to Colored Coins.

I plan on making the CC interface easy to use after the CC developers have the core tested and working.

I found it interesting that many people here care more about relisting than the progress of this project. Does it mean once it is relisted you can pass the hot potatoes to others? Who will buy it and what will be the price if it is relisted now, when there're still no updates about the (test) chips after it has delayed about two months? Yes, I know Ken said he will update the progress of chips (not confirm it is finished) in NEXT month.

FYI,
I got my refund cleared by the bank.

All in all, they could be trying hard and failing as a business. The PR sucks big time, and they just may have good intentions with bad business practice.

I'll be happy to prove that they have failed deliberately to benefit themselves.  I know it sounds backwards, but the secret word is salary.  They didn't spend a dime on what they were supposed to.

+1 for CC.
CC is not ready, so I can pretend that my shares are worth big money and not feel like a ripped off noob, while we wait for CC.

If we're not trading 5 months from now, I can blame the CC devs, who have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Satoshi.  Not Ken, who is conceived without fiat and through Him is our path to the wealth everlasting.
Real Active Mining supporters are happy holding forever, without dividends.

Before listing on CT, ken should get confirmation that there's an easy way to get a current shareholder list, with all necessary details, exported easily and in a format he can work with in the event of legal issues.

Legendary Escrow Service - Tip Jar in Profile
Ken I understand about the shares and waiting for either CT or CC but what about our dividends?

When can we start receiving our dividends since we are still trying to figure out which route to go with the shares?

Since we can't reinvest them why not start sending them to our wallets we had listed so we can use them towards other things?

Why should Ken bother with paying out divs when he dont had time to bring the shares to an exchange where divs can be paid out automatically? Doesnt make sense. And by the way... we dont have our own miners yet. What do you want with some satoshis now?

Whatever the platform is it should be one which will be available to the most people, we don't want to have the only ones knowing about the shares being us.

which is why it should be on crypto trade
Which will get shutdown and then nobody can trade. How does using colored coins limit access?

If anything it might help there are very few people who actually use CT. Being the first on CC could actually be a benefit to shareholders because there is no short term risk of the exchange being shut down since it is decentralized.
CC could allow us to sell to whoever, whenever, without needing to sign onto an exchange. Its possible CC is the better way...

all you need is a program to assign shares to each user according to the color coin assignments, and then divy up the money according to what % they own of the total shares. It requires a bit of simple programming, which Ken should hire someone for.

Actually it's why it should be Color Coins. Color Coins is the most promising decentralized way of trading shares. It's as secured and decentralized as the Bitcoin itself and most probably it'll become the standard for bitcoin securities storing and exchanging. Once it's completed it'll be in the news and a lot of articles will be written about Color Coins. A lot of people will want to try it and ActM will be one of the first few (or even the first) securities traded in Color Coins. Actually exchanges like crypto trade will most probably implement it in their interfaces and then if you want you can send your shares to an exchange, or trade/store it using Chroma Wallet.

I like that! It might push up the share price to 2 satoshis each!
I would like to press (again) on the support though.
I have not read the techniques behind CC, but as long as it is clear who is responsible in case of a fatal, undetected flaw in the implementation or design that makes a user loose coins/shares/dividends.
If we go with CT or direct shares we know who is responsible. But a decentralized exchange? Who will support in case something breaks?

if i understand correctly.. 3rd party site requires trust in 3rd party site.
colored coins require someone to send first? so requires either trust or escrow?

Agreed 1000%. The proviso bring that platform is safe and won't need to be changed again a few months down the line. If this company goes large can we trust CT to handle the many millions of dollars worth of btc that will be slushing around its system? We trusted Ukyo right?

colored coins eliminate this problem, but at the same time the share price won't be as high. i bet we'll get at least 6 months on ct, which is long enough for me to dump.
