Bitfunder closing down should not surprise anyone. The writing was on the wall and the market list has shrunk significantly. Most securities and investors have already jumped ship.
Havelock will be next.

Anyone who sent their personal documents to Bitfunder have cause for concern.

Perhaps, perhaps not.

The documentation was for WeExchange (which funneled down to butFunder). I believe that will remain.

Not saying there isn't a possibility for ID theft etc, but it may still be kosher.

Ukyo's issues stem from SEC complications, to which WeExchange is outside their scope.  FinCEN, on the other hand...

So, what is the state of the shares transferred to AMC-Tender going to be? I transferred them just yesterday or today.

Any updates on VMC's hardware?

I don't own any stock in AM, but through my group buy, we spent more than $10,000 on two Hash-Fast-One units.

Have there been any updates? Or is everything under NDA.  Roll Eyes

ROI looks miserable..

To my knowledge, the last communication on the 28nm chip development was Sept 16:

ActiveMining F.A.Q.

...

What are the current plans for chip development?
ActiveMining is developing a 28nm Bitcoin mining chip using eASIC.
  • Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks;
  • Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process;
  • Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks.

...

If we assume 9 weeks from the eAsic press release (Sept 4), then that puts us at right now for chip samples being delivered. However, NDA...

I might be wrong, but I think the first units will be ready end of November. Do you remember your estimate date?

Is there any viable way to purchase ActiveMining shares right now?

If I make two seperate transfers to AMC-Tender will I run into any problems?

I would assume you'd be okay as long as you had screenshots of both transactions and as long as the account(s) have public bitcoin addresses set.

Just transferred my shares.
Still, none of the other top 10 shareholders have transferred yet.

Why not?

Either way the shares will be pushed back to Ken on Dec 1st according to the timeline on BF

So, do we have to do something?

It used to be that btct was keeping "the" backup list of the bitfunder public asset list ... who keeps the copy now?

Well if Ken goes the way of Direct shares, it leaves one of us free to create a pass through on HaveLock. (Instead of Ken having to keep micromanaging the shares)

Kind of wonder what is the point of getting verified if the website is just getting shutdown anyways. Should allow everyone to have full buy/sell access until the website closes.

Ken,

Please DO NOT pay dividends on Nov 6 through BitFunder.

Given that BF is closing down, and there are endless posts of people having problems getting BTC out, please do NOT use bitfunder for dividend payments.

If you need to, withhold dividends and accumulate them for shareholders, until the sh!tfest is solved.

+1

We can't either reinvest the shares from the dividends or withdraw it.

Please send the dividends directly to our public bitcoin address.

Thanks.
