From my point of view, both have decent technology and potential to invest. Nowadays XRP is doing well and it has a huge capitalization, on the other hand, Cardano is fully decentralized people love to take it for long-term investment. So you can invest in both of them.
I would invest equally in both projects. One of the projects is supported by banks, and the other is aimed at the consumer sector, both have great potential in the future. Always diversify your investment portfolio so as not to lose all your money.
for now ripple is the best altcoin because it managed to occupy the second position under bitcoin in coinmarketcap, and ripple has a very good market growth also continues to grow.
I am a big opponent of Ripple (in my opinion it is not a cryptocurrency at all) so I definitely recommend investing your money in Cardano.

Everyone is free to give an opinion, and everyone will certainly say the product is the most superior. But the market determines which one is superior. Bitcoin has been leading for a long time and has been widely used in every real exchange. This will make Bitcoin superior.
Now its better to buy ADA than XRP because ADA price fell to 97% and XRP price fell to 90%. Based on this math, the ADA price will be higher than XRP price.
You must not consider these percents. In reality, this statistics does not mean so much. Cardano is simply a decentralized cryptocurrency, while Ripple is centralized. Therefore, my choice is ADA, certainly.

What is the difference between XRP and xRapid. What is the use case of XRP coin? xRapid has for sure.

Speculations are always influentials when in terms about crypto, xrp can be manipulated indeed as big whales already playing with this project, while cardano shows some signed that implementations and developments are continuing even in this tough and down trend situations, we can see some players to find another alternatives to btc and eth as cardano are also one of those hot coins for risky individuals around this market. I do not like XRP, as the team can very much manipulate the price of a coin.
Both are enough good to invest but i would love to suggest you to invest in ADA this is really outstanding it has great potential. ADA looks much promising than XRP to me and its project has been doing well so for making good profits you can invest in it.

But XPR is more preferable compared to the ADA, As you can see that XRP has been getting a lot of support from the bankers and then ADA still not yet become major crypto that in the same tier as bitcoin and ethereum. XRP is a better choice than ripple.

for now I am investing in Ripple because this year it is quite stable if it is exchanged with other coins, if it is seen when Ripple first appeared until now its development is very good.
I have 200 dollars and I want to know if I should place it in XRP or ADA. I have both so spare the split 50/50 talk

I wonder why you chose these particular coins for investment? I would invest in Ethereum and Neo as I consider it more promising. XRP ic centrilized for example.
I strongly recommend that you look at such a project as a ripple because I believe that this is the most promising coin on the market.
I have no doubt about that. Ripple is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies thus far. Good fundamentals, solid community support and plenty of partnership which should spearhead mass adoption for Crypto and blockchain as a whole. For ADA.... Mehn not so much. It was one of the most hyped projects in 2017 and did really well. 2018 just wasn't it's year. But It's yet another solid project. In all, both are good but I'll still with XRP.

I really surprised that price of Ripple is so high, I think that it is the result of manipaulation by XRP price. ADA more progressive nad smart bockchain than Ripple. I think that in long term perspective ADA is preferable for investments.
